As the lactose intolerant owner of a cat named Milktea, there are many things I wish to share with my late cat, whom I adopted into my life but sadly couldn't stay as long as I wished. Though he now rests somewhere above the cloud, I hope he is witty enough to find this podcast (since he's already in the cloud, I mean, easy access right?) and listen to the rants I would have told him in person. Wish you were here to witness my growth, but for now, a podcast will do. New episode every week-ish.
It has been 4 months. 4 months of non-stop rollercoaster. Behold, my chaotic, scatter-brained recap of my time away from the poddie.
I'm learning to appreciate normalcy but life keeps throwing curve balls at me as if I've trained with the Dodgers before. Welp, off we went.

I have spent so much energy this week I feel like those dehydrated bodies from "3 body problem" on Netflix. No that was not a plug, I wish I was sponsored or compensated by how many times I've mentioned that show but yes- chaos, confessions, and all-star sports day ensues.

Oh, you are in for a treat. I'll be spring-cleaning my thoughts from when we left off last year: a last-minute trip to Hong Kong, starting a new job, finally having my first mental breakdown this year (since the past 2 years), receiving an audiobook audition, and my latest obsession on Netflix - the 3 body problem. The end of 2024 was literally a crazy mess.

I finally succumbed to the idea that I wanted to "x-ray" my overthinking brain so I could better understand myself and stop spiraling in my head. So, there was this comprehensive test and- the good news is, I learned a whole lot more than I had anticipated; the bad? welp, I'm not sure if it helped my brain or added another layer right on top. Fair warning, you're about to dive DEEP into my brain as we delve into my traits for the next hour and a half of questions and analysis.

Only 70 days left before the year wraps up, and life is still living it up. It's the most wonderful time of the year (no it's not December)!! Autumn is finally here, so it's about time for my crispy over-dyed hair to "leave" as well. A chaotic week in review – that's the most fitting description for this podcast and the past seven days. I've ridden the emotional roller coaster, from the fear of unemployment to the unexpected challenge of repairing my first cassette player. And, let's not forget the latest addition to the chaos – a staggering estimated $2,000 health insurance bill that arrived today. Just when I thought everything was peachy, something just had to go south. Last weekend, I went to see Mamamoo's last concert here in Seoul and spent some quality time with friends I haven't seen since 2017 when I ventured out for my first overseas concert. Time flies, but we are almost at the end of a miserable year. Miserable in terms of all the suffering the world has to endure, miserable because of all the lives that were lost. Though what we see maybe darkness, if we look within, there are so many lights in our life that lit up our darkest days in some way. I couldn't spend Thanksgiving at home this year, but I can and should give thanks to those who helped me push through this year, or thus far. I am also joined by a special guest this week. Hear us out. (sorry I meant to say I landed in Korea 2 weeks ago my brain is clearly fried)

I thought I was a pretty good toilet in terms my ability to flush down frustrations from work, but some stories from my previous job proved themselves to be incredible pieces of crap. My only wish after publishing this podcast is that they will never find this podcast. Please, I am too broke to be sued.

Perhaps the best way to gauge growth is to compare yourself against yourself, like that Spiderman vs. Spiderman vs. Spiderman meme. All jokes aside, I was pleasantly surprised at how the results came out. Join me as I take another MBTI personality test to understand my true colors.

Can I be a voice actor? Long story short, no. But it was really fun to give it a try and test the water. Join me as I explore my one of many, random career thoughts that was brewed right from the drive thru of Starbucks.

Life is a full circle. Upon moments of self discovery, we also encounter moments when we feel lost. As a natural process of finding out what we want, we converse with our inner-selves to figure out who we were, who we are, and who we can be. Here are 30 questions from @theyalechen that I went through to reflect on myself.

From love to loss, this is the story about my cat, Milktea. (I forgot to clarify in the podcast when I mentioned that Milktea needed a transplant, I meant to say he needed to insert a tube that will help with his conditions and give him more time but not enough to recover his health.)
