Today was a festive day in Spain, or National Day of Spain, known in Spanish as DΓa de la Hispanidad... It should be one of the biggest holidays in the country, but somehow I didn't get that feeling... When we celebrate Christmas, New Year, or some other festive, all stores are closed, people are with families, etc. But today, many supermarkets were open and working for a whole day...

Created in Canva.com
I suppose that happened as Spaniards (or lawmakers in Spain) wanted to connect the National Day with the conquering of America from the past... So, in some way, what Spaniards are celebrating as a "positive day", is viewed completely opposite by countries that were conquered by Spaniards in the past... I suppose that saying β€œhistory is written by the victors” is very valid in this case...

All that made me think about how things were done in the past, how they look at the present, and what the future brings to us... Can we make a difference, how we can do it, what needs to be done, etc? Of course, HIVE can be a valuable tool for shaping the future as it is already shaping the present for many people!

Check out the short walk-and-talk video that I recorded this morning...Thank you for your time,

HiveFest 9th edition is behind us and I haven't written my "HiveFest recap post" yet... πŸ€¦β€ Instead of doing that, I have decided to run the Hive Humpday Hangout show about the HiveFest, trying to get some feedback and impressions of some of the participants... Everyone was invited, and some people on the show shared their views!!!

Created in Canva.com
I'm still a bit knocked out from flights and all the action that we had in this year's HiveFest... Also, from the moment I got home, I got some other big things on my plate, and the result is that I didn't manage to finish what I wanted... But, the show had to be run and I would say that we had a lot of fun in this one... I was thinking about NOT recording this one as it's not some "educational material", but on the other side, it was a motivational show as #HiveFest isn't just presentations, but more like a social event where bonds between people are getting stronger!

As maybe some people don't believe my words, I have invited @ninaeatshere and @achim03 on the microphone to share their #HiveFest impressions! As Nina said, she had limited time, so she was the first to share... For example, she stated that she noticed more women at the HiveFest than at some other event, and that is for sure nice to hear!! By the way. those women weren't just in the audience, but also on the stage!

Later on, Achim shared his views about the event and also told us a few anecdotes from HiveFest... This was his first Hive meetup, but somehow, I have a feeling that this was just the beginning, and we will see him on many others in the future... :) One of the things that he shared was an anecdote about @distriator when we were trying to set up the account with the help of @starkerz...

We had also @melinda010100 on the mic sharing her view of this year's HiveFest... She didn't attend it, but she was following the live stream of presentations and supporting speakers!! As @ecency was presented by @seckorama it was nice to hear some insights about the new things coming live... One of them is the new Waves app that is already available!

As were closing to the end of the show, participants were asking a few questions about the HiveFest, and those who were there were replying...

Don't forget to check out the show recording below! We had 14 participants (including myself) in the show this week!!! Thanks for participating, @achim03, @duskobgd, @felixxx, @foxkoit, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @ninaeatshere, @palomap3, @quekery, @relf87, and @sacra97! We had @incublus and @yenmendt in the audience for a short time too. Thank you guys and girls for joining, asking questions, and having fun!

Right after the show ended, @jza joined the after-show! He is another Hivian who was present at the #HiveFest, and as a matter of fact, he was still at that moment in Split, Croatia! He shared some of his views about the event, but that part wasn't recorded... ☹️ Luckily, almost nobody left the live stream, so we were all present, listening to another Hivian's impressions of HiveFest! To not miss these "exclusive" moments, you should join us at #HHHLive shows!

Thank you, guys and girls, once again! As a sign of appreciation, I will send some LEN tokens to all participants of the live show! You can pair them with LENM tokens, add liquidity to the diesel pool, and earn rewards! If you want to learn more about the project behind it, check out the @liotes account or visit the Liotes website... Of course, if you are not interested in it, you can sell tokens on the Hive-Engine market...

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us! This time, we had 4 participants on the mic, @ninaeatshere, @achim03, @melinda010100, and @jza (in the after-show)! Thanks for sharing the stage with me! So, this week, Ecency POINTS are going to them!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

I told you that there is a chance that I will do a Walk & Talk video at HiveFest, Croatia, and here we are... I did it... πŸ˜ƒ This is not my "official" HiveFest recap post, but rather fulfilling the promise to do the video! Also, I didn't mention any Hivian by name (except one) as I don't want to skip someone... I will take my time and do it when I come back next week... For now, this video is a "teaser" for #HiveFest... πŸ˜ƒ

Created in Canva.com, with my breakfast photo in the background...πŸ˜ƒ
After 3 days of intense events at the #HiveFest, we have finally reached the calm waters where we can do some own research of the city, and take things more relaxed... I mean, if you are at the HiveFest as an attendee, you are good from A to Z, but if you had to do a presentation, it can be different... As I'm still not that comfortable in doing public presentations, I was a "bit" nervous because of our @Liotes presentation... Luckily, we were among the first presentations on Day 1, so we put the stress out of the way at the beginning... πŸ˜ƒ

You can check out the HiveFest live stream recordings at the official HiveFest YouTube account...
Day 1 - Liotes presentation (where you can check out how nervous I was πŸ˜‚) starts at 1:43:35
Day 2

The first 3 days are always the most intense as the daily schedule of presentations and activities is full from early morning until late at night... Some of us aren't used to having so much "action" in a day, but I was amazed at the amount of energy that was among Hivians... We were tired, but nobody wanted to leave first... Just a few minutes more... Just another drink... Just another bar... πŸ˜‚

Of course, the highlights of these first days were presentations that took place in 2 days... Before they began, I had an idea to maybe skip some, check out the city in the break, or take a siesta... But... That didn't happen... Every presentation was interesting and similar, but different... and in the end, I didn't miss any... πŸ˜ƒ

This morning, I went to the bakery to buy breakfast (it is on the thumbnail)... The idea was to buy "burek" (local dish), but I didn't find it so I bought a similar thing... Salty cheese pie and the other one is a meat pie... On my way back to the apartment, I decided to make a video with my first impressions regarding HiveFest...

So, instead of reading these lines, check out the video and see how it was...

Thank you for your time,

The weather is slowly cooling down, which means that it is possible to go out in the daylight to take a walk! During the summer, I had to do my daily walks (very) early in the morning or very late at night... As I was going to sleep very late, getting up in early the morning was almost impossible, so I did my walks at night, and that meant no light for recording Walk & Talk videos... According to the poll that I ran a few months ago, you guys like that kind of content I would like to make them more often, but it was very hard to do them...

Created in Canva.com
Anyway, I got up this morning a bit before 8 AM, it wasn't that hot, so I took my walk where I took this photo that you can see in the thumbnail... Just look at the photo, there is proof for my words about being hot as the heat burnt all the vegetation around... Everything is yellow and very dry... We had rain 2 days ago, but before that, the last time rained was like 3 months ago! 😱

Back to the topic... In the video, I shared my views about the #HiveFest, why I like to attend real-life Hive meetups, and the reasons behind it... You have probably heard me talking about different meetups that I attended, but maybe you need an additional reason to go and attend one... This video is probably for you if you are undecided to go or not... πŸ™‚

If I have time, I hope that I will not forget to record at least one Walk and Talk video from Split, Croatia... πŸ™‚ No promises as usually I forget about everything else when I'm surrounded by cool Hivians... πŸ™‚

Don't forget to check out the video!!!

Thank you for your time,

We had a similar topic a few months ago, where we got some nice tips on ways how to transfer crypto into fiat, or pay for goods and services... This time, we stayed on a similar topic where participants shared their ways of spending HIVE/HBD, but also crypto in general! It was a nice educational show as we had multiple ways explained almost in the smallest details, so don't forget to check out the recording of the show that you can find inside this post!

Created in Canva.com
We have two people on the microphone sharing their experiences, and the others were interacting during the show in the chat channel... It looks like most of the participants are in the "full-accumulation" mode as everyone is focused on getting more of those cryptos and not spending their bags... πŸ˜ƒ Which is fine... I'm doing the same... πŸ˜ƒ

We began the show with @foxkoit sharing the photo of his two debit (prepaid) crypto cards that he owns, Crypto.com and Gate.io cards! I also own the first one, but I didn't know that the second one exists, and I will have to check it out... I got one piece of information that I didn't have before thanks to awesome #HHHLive participants!

As we were in that field, I shared my experience with the crypto.com card that I've been using for over a year now (I think), which I began to use on recommendation of another Hivian (if you check my older posts, you can probably find the one where I was brainstorming which card to orderπŸ™‚)... I'm using my crypto.com card to buy groceries, purchase plane tickets, buy online stuff, book accommodation, or withdraw cash at the ATM... So, almost for everything! Before that debit card, I had a Wirex and Binance card, but I didn't renew them...

@felixxx shared his experience with https://www.bitrefill.com/, and he described the whole process of creating vouchers on that website using HIVE/HBD! Thanks to @brianoflondon's app it is possible to do it... Don't forget to check https://v4v.app/ which you can use as a tool to offload your HIVE/HBD and top up your debit cards or Bitrefill account!

When @relf87 finally sorted out his difficulties with the microphone, he shared his experience...He is paying for coffee with his crypto profits! Nice way to motivate yourself to push forward! Speaking of motivation and understanding crypto, those above-mentioned vouchers can be a nice "first step" for entering the world of crypto... When you create a voucher, you can use it as a gift, which could help out with showing to non-crypto people that what you are doing makes sense, and has monetary value too!!!

Of course, the best way to spend your HIVE/HBD is to pay directly with them, either in some shop, bar or directly to someone's for its services or products! I was lucky to have that kind of experience when I was attending #HiveBeeCon in Krakow last year when I was able to pay for food and drinks in The Kingdom! What do you need to do? With a mobile phone with a Keychain app, you scan the QR code from the merchant, approve the transaction and you are good to go!! Because I made payment with my HBD, those dumplings were the best food ever! πŸ˜ƒ

At the end of the show, we were talking about exchanging crypto at local BTC/crypto meetups, but also about the ways how you can accept crypto payments and still be legally covered... Of course, all that we were talking about in the show were our experiences and not financial advice!

Don't forget to check out the show recording below! We had 12 participants (including myself) in the show this week!!! Thanks for participating, @achim03, @alberto0607, @duskobgd, @felixxx, @foxkoit, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @relf87, @sacra97, and @travoved! Thank you guys and girls for joining me and spreading great ideas!

As usual, we had an after-show where we were talking about some other topics like the one that was started a few days ago, upvoting or not people who are powering down all their HIVE... Of course, that led to some other topics and tips for bloggers on HIVE... Don't forget to join the next show and not miss the after-show!!! Those are not recorded and exclusive for participants of the live stream!

This time, we had only 2 participants on the mic, @felixxx and @relf87! Thanks for sharing the stage with me! So, this week, Ecency POINTS are going to them!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Interestingly, the video that you can watch in this post was recorded a few days ago, but I didn't have time to publish it... So, I decided to upload it earlier, prepare a draft post, and publish it to someone from one of the hotels in France as I'm on a road trip for 3 days! As I like to keep my Workerbee pool posts published at the same time, I decided to do a combo of these two things...

Created in Canva.com
I don't want to through out a lot of spoilers regarding the topic from the video, but you get the point from the title... I was talking about entrepreneurship and how entrepreneurs have to think in advance, to prepare themselves for the days when they will have less work, or when they go on vacation... To be honest, it wasn't the idea to publish this video on the road, from a draft post, but it fits perfectly in the discussed topic :)

Check the video here:

Back to the pool numbers! In the previous week, we lost one delegator, and in this one, we got one!!! Wooohooo! Welcome to the pool, @duskobgd! Enjoy your stay! Also, we had some additional delegations from other pool participants... Thanks, guys!!!

This week we mined 107 BEE tokens in total!!!

This POOL doesn't have fees and you get up to 20% MORE by delegating to it!

What about the bonus tokens?

As for my obsession with the order in everything, it was AWESOME token's turn to be distributed as a bonus, but the price of it dropped significantly and I'm not sure that it will ever go back, I decided to skip the turn and go with the proven tokens! So, this week, I will distribute some LEN tokens to delegators! You probably know that LEN tokens are one of two tokens founded by @liotes projects, where I'm one of the co-owners alongside @achim03! Our token also had some ups and downs, but we are proud of Liotes's results in the first 4 years of existence! I'm pretty sure that all the people who were with us from the beginning are in HIVE profits as our tokens are closely connected to HIVE!

There will be distributed 70 LEN tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!

As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... 107 BEE tokens and 70 LEN tokens will be distributed as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 5.743%, and when we added the bonus it went up to 6.884%!

I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens at the moment of creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...

Do you want to sponsor the PH-Pool with your tokens, receive a short SPONSORED segment in this post, and raise awareness about your front-end or dApp? Please let me know in the comment section, or contact me through Discord or Twitter and we will find the best solution for both parties...

If you want to join the WorkerBee PH-Pool, the only thing that you have to do is to STAKE tokens to YOUR account and DELEGATE your staked WORKERBEE tokens to THIS account (@ph1102)! Every week you will get your portion of mined BEE tokens and BONUS rewards!

.:. DO NOT STAKE TOKENS TO MY ACCOUNT!!! Just DELEGATE! .:.

All payments will be made after publishing this post...If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section!

You can find more about this pool in the initial post here https://inleo.io/hive-119826/@ph1102/workerbee-p-h-ool-let-s-help-each-other

Thank you for your time,

In answer to the comments at the announcement post for this show, I was determined to explain to the people what will be the REAL topic of the show as it looks many were misled or wrongly understood the post... I have to admit that I used this moment when we had a huge discussion about the Splinterlands DHF Proposal, to create a show where people could understand how the whole HIVE proposals system works! In my opinion, Hivians must know how they work, the pros and cons, how they were set up, what the consequences are... the good and the bad of them...

Created in Canva.com
It wasn't my intention to create a clickbait post, but rather to educate... So, after clearing up the things in the comment section, it looks like people did understand, as we didn't have a big audience in the show... But, we had all the MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE online! Thanks, guys for participating! πŸ™ And not just that, we had a great discussion about proposals, and it was great to see how people were adding their opinions about the topic!

We began slowly where I shared a great starting point for Hive proposals on Ecency, where we went through the number of DHF, daily-funded, daily-budget, and total-budget... Speaking of DHF, there is another great page where you can find a lot more details about it and you find it on Hive.IO website...

When we understood how it works, we went to find out from where the money comes by checking the Hive inflation numbers... We had some questions regarding those numbers, which we clarified in the show!

For those who want to learn more about the DHF, there is also the Ecency page, where you can find the answer to how it works... In the meantime, we had another "mini-discussion" about Why we don't have the downvote option on proposals. Before saying that it is stupid, for example, Splinterlands does have that option in their governance voting system...

One of the reasons why Hive Proposals doesn't have a "downvote" is the existence of Return proposal, which was the next point for discussion... A good resource for finding out how it works is the post by @gtg, which you can find here...

When we had covered all the basics, it was time to open a broader discussion about Hive proposals, which we began with a great comment by @wanderingmoon in the chat channel... @femisapiens jumped on the mic sharing his views about the Splinterlands proposal, but also his struggles to go from one world (Splinterlands) into the blogging world of HIVE... His words were a great reminder for us to do better in helping newbies find their place and to help them in their first steps on HIVE...

We went a bit off-topic, but it was useful to do so, as it was needed to say these things... @jim-crypto jumped on the mic too, sharing his personal experience, and his view about onboarding...

When we had a few minutes left until the end of the show, we compared Hive proposals and DHF, with standard businesses and their funding... That was also a very important discussion as it is important to understand this difference...

At the very end of the show, @relf87 reminded us that voting for a certain proposal isn't something that is done "once and for all"... In the same way as we can SUPPORT some proposal, in the same way we can UNSUPPORT it, if we change our mind, or the project didn't deliver what was promised...

Don't forget to check out the show recording below!

We had 13 participants (including myself) in the show this week!!! Thanks for participating, @incublus, @femisapiens, @chireerocks, @foxkoit, @jim-crypto, @josediccus, @melinda010100, @mnurhiver, @palomap3, @relf87, @sacra97, and @wanderingmoon! Thank you guys and girls for joining me and spreading great ideas!

As usual, we had an after-show where we had a heated discussion about current proposals and shared a few more views about them... Also, we talked about Spliterlands, bots, Rising Star, etc. If you want to find out more, come by next time and join the fun... πŸ˜ƒ

Sometimes we have easy topics, sometimes we have hard topics in the #HHHLive show... Sometimes people like to engage and participate more in the discussion, sometimes don't... Sometimes we have more people in the show, sometimes we have less... All this doesn't mean that some topics are less important than others, or that some people are more important than others... It means that we are different and we have different priorities or topics that we are comfortable discussing... Or, it could be that summer is coming and fewer people are online, spending time on computers/phones... But rather go out and enjoy good weather... πŸ™‚

Created in Canva.com
Anyway, after a short break, we had another #HHHLive show this Wednesday (Hump Day), where we didn't have many participants, but we had a core, strong, and engaging group of people having fun! I'm not biased by saying that, and to be sure that I'm not, you should check out the recording that you can find by scrolling a few lines down!

The topic was suggested by @chocolatescorpi, so there was no better way to begin the show, than asking her to explain the idea behind it... While she was doing that, she mentioned @melinda010100 and called her out to explain how she does it!... As Melinda is a machine (jk), everyone was all ears, listening to her way of "hiving", daily routine, and priorities...

Some very important things came up to the surface while Melinda was talking... As she mentioned that she doesn't like too much to write posts but rather consuming them, and commenting on posts, we had to pull the break and talk about engagement... again... Yes, we had to do that, as it is the most important thing on HIVE! We have even invented a new thing... Indirect content creation! When you comment on other's posts and inspire them (or other commenters) to create a post, to share their view, or just motivate them to continue what they are doing!

It was a real pleasure listening to girls talking with each other, and then @wanderingmoon came on the mic and added more oil to the fire... The discussion went about daily schedules and routines, time for content creation, and of course, the importance of comments and the right balance between posts and comments...

When we are talking about content creation, there is one question that always has to come to the table, and this time @chocolatescorpi was who asked it... πŸ˜ƒ "What is the best time for publishing posts on HIVE?"

I mentioned the message from the comment from the announcement post about getting bored by posting on HIVE... That can (and very often does) happen to anyone... You can be passionate about your niche, but still, you can get bored... That's normal... Taking a break could help to find the spark again, but adding some different topics in the mix can help too... Is it good to mix other stuff on your blog or not, that's the question for everyone. It could work, but it could also "damage" your blog... What's your opinion about that?

We talked about many other things, but if I write you down everything, you will not have the first-hand experience you can have by watching/listening to recordings!

Don't forget to check out the show recording below! We had 9 participants (including myself) in the show this week!!! Thanks for participating, @riyat, @chocolatescorpi, @foxkoit, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @sacra97, and @wanderingmoon! Thank you guys and girls for joining me and spreading great ideas!

As usual, we had an after-show where we had a relaxed talk about different topics, but that part wasn't recorded... Come by next time and join the fun... πŸ˜ƒ

This time, we had 3 participants on the mic, @chocolatescorpi, @melinda010100, and @wanderingmoon! Girls, thanks for sharing the stage with me! So, this week, Ecency POINTS are going to them!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

Creating another Walk $ Talk video in such a short time was a surprise for me too! πŸ™‚ But, the weather is great at my place, I switched my walks from afternoons to mornings, and I really enjoyed them! The idea of recording a video during the walk happens by nature... πŸ™‚ I was watching a short YT video a few days ago about 3 types of income, and I had to share my points of view about it, implementing that knowledge to compare it with HIVE!

Created in Canva.com
First of all, I didn't know about this concept before, which shows how bad education is (ironically, that was one of the statements in the video)... So, I have probably explained wrongly the 3 types of income in the video, and I would suggest you check out the linked post to find more info... I did that AFTER recording the video when I realized that I made mistakes in my explanations... Anyway, there are some other titbits in the video and I didn't want to leave them unpublished!

The main problem was always a lack of good education... Maybe before, we could have excuses that people didn't have access to books, schools in remote locations, or similar... But today, we have all the information in 2 clicks by mouse, we can't use those excuses... The lack of financial education is something that worries me the most... From my personal example, I can say that I had almost ZERO education about that in my school... I didn't know about earned income, passive income, and portfolio income at all! I remember, when I was like 7-8 years old, that we went to the bank with the class to open a savings account, and that was it...

So, in this video, I have tried to bring closer these 3 types of income to you as, according to statistics, over 90% of people have no idea about the other two types... Most people know that they can earn by doing their job, but they have no idea that the real value and wealth are almost always in the other 2 ways of earning! Is that done by purpose or not, I don't want to go into it... But, it is a fact...

What was the most interesting is the fact that we have all these 3 types of income in the Hive ecosystem! And the same as with "real life", most people are missing the other two types! How do I know that? Well, it's easy to see these things as transparency of HIVE, where you can check wallets and steps what people are doing here...

The majority of people are creating content, harvesting rewards, powering down, and using ALL their funds for everyday life... Which is fine, to one extent... but... That could be a "life-patch" for your current financial situation, but it is not your long-term solution! It is the first type of income, and without dipping your toe into the other two, you will always stay at the same place...

I think that you will get the point after watching the video... It's a short one, so you can give it a go!Thank you for your time,

The best thing about the #HHHLive show is engagement!!! Not just that anyone can jump on the microphone and talk, but also anyone can type in the event-chat during the show, contributing with valuable ideas and comments!!! I didn't see many shows like this one around as usually, one person talks, and others listen... But, in our show, the audience/participants are those who are creating the content!!! That's why you guys are the best!

Created in Canva.com
There is a lot of fear on the markets and among Hivians, so instead of freaking out and FUD-ing, we have gathered around in the show to discuss (okay, maybe "speculate" is a better word πŸ˜€), why did the Hive price drop, and what can we do about it! In the announcement post, I made an analogy with Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, so I decided to stay in the same realm and the show was divided into 2 parts... In the first one, we discussed the reason behind the HIVE price drop, while in the second part, we were talking about "solutions" and ideas on what to do next...

Sherlock's part of the showAs I said, in this part, participants share their thoughts, ideas, theories for reasons behind the HIVE price drop... For example, @foxkoit said that it could be because of the upcoming #HIveFest2024, so we discussed that possibility... @theringmaster had an idea that this big drop could be a consequence of a Bitcoin drop that happened in the same time... That's something that happens a lot, not just for HIVE, but for all altcoins out there, which truth be told, did happen this time too...

After that, @incublus came on the mic to share his views about the recent drop... One of the theories was Koreans selling HIVE, which we saw in the past happening as the Korean exchanges hold a lot of liquid HIVE and they were doing pump and dump schemes before... This time, we had a rumor/news about some legal changes for Korean exchanges that could be the trigger of this dump, especially for HIVE for said reasons... We discussed that but also compared HIVE with some other irrationally high-marketcap meme tokens...

After him, @relf87 came on the mic and shared his theory of Splinterlands's influence on the recent dump... Maybe that wasn't the main reason for the dump, but it could be a contributor to the snowball effect, for sure! Close to the end of this first part, @melinda010100 reminded us about the fact that markets are usually going down at the beginning of the summer... We had some other ideas on the table too, so don't forget to check out the recording!

Dr. Watson's part of the showIn this part, we tried to cool down and think rationally about what we do in this position, at these times... The conclusion is not too much regarding the price action, but we can do the right thing and that's to use the opportunity that is in front of us... When we have these price drops, it's the best time to accumulate tokens... Not just by buying them from the market, but also, by creating content, engaging with others... Hard times are great to make new friends, as those people are the ones that will help you out when you need it, and are action takers!

Also, one of the things that we should do is to check out fundamentals... Did they change or not? If not, there is no reason to freak out!!! Speaking of that, we had a nice discussion about fear and greed, and how they are messing up with us to make wrong decisions...

Don't forget to check out the show recording below! We had 15 participants (including myself) in the show this week!!! Thanks for participating, @riyat, @abenad, @coolmidwestguy, @foxkoit, @incublus, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @nabu.doconosor2, @palomap3, @relf87, @theringmaster, @travoved, @trexane, and @wanderingmoon! Thank you guys and girls for the awesome time!

As usual, we had an after-show where we were talking about some "off-HIVE" topic this time... Among other things, a bit of weather, rain, and fishing!! πŸ˜ƒ If you want to participate in these, you gotta attend the live show! πŸ˜ƒ

Thank you, guys and girls, once again! As a sign of appreciation, I will send some LEN tokens to all participants of the live show! I'm happy that you supported this type of content with your votes in the recent poll, as that gives me motivation to continue doing it! (btw. if you didn't vote, please go to this link and cast your vote for the content that you would like to see more on my blog)... It's not an easy task to record these videos, especially as I try to do them in just 1 cut, without "reading the line"... That kicks me out of my comfort zone, and pushes me to focus on 1 topic, trying to add value to viewers in the shortest amount of time possible...

Created in Canva.com (yellow thumbnail, like my T-shirt in the walk πŸ˜ƒ
Whenever I would create a video from the Walk & Talk Series, I would also write a (long) post around it which should be a description, but many times it would be a written post on the same topic with additional thoughts! I realized that by doing that, I take value from the video itself and many people don't even check it out, while it can find different messages... So, I will do this time differently...

The short description says... During my 5 years on HIVE, I saw many people coming and going here... Some of them would quit just because they got bored, some would leave as they expected more, and for many different reasons... Among others, I have spotted TWO types of struggles here on HIVE that sometimes people don't realize and can't objectively explain what happened and what they did wrong...

The first type are people who come to the platform with high expectations, but without the will to create quality content... When I say "quality content", I mean a non-low-effort post... So, they are throwing 2-3 sentence posts, or 1 image post, for a certain time until they realize that they made a mistake... In one moment they began to create valuable posts, but then... (check the video πŸ™‚)

The second type of Hivians is those who can be even Red Fish or Dolphins on HIVE... Some innocently fall into the trap of one specific HIVE whale that can deceive you... What you will hear in the video about this are my assumptions about how that certain whale "works", and take that with a reserve as I can be wrong...

That will be all about the topic in the description of the video! Don't forget to check it out here! It's only 11 minutes long...

Thank you for your time,

Life is full of ups and downs, and our show also has ups and downs... πŸ˜ƒ After a fantastic show with Detlev last week, we had an "ordinary" show where we discussed certain topics connected to our Hive journey... Last week we had almost 20 participants, while this week we had half of that... You can't win every time... πŸ˜ƒ But, despite that, we had a lot of fun, and got off topic many times during the show, but still, I think that we had a valuable discussion... I learned something new, so I'm happy... πŸ˜ƒ

Created in Canva.com
Maybe the topic was a bit too hard (as someone said in the comment section that it's an "elephant in the room") and not everyone wants to discuss it, but the #HHHLive show is perfect for those things... We talked about heavy stuff in the past and we will in the future... It would be nice to reach the stage where the show is a starting point for some big discussions about the HIVE in general! We can't ignore the elephant as we will stay without the space for breathing... πŸ™‚

As the participants were shy and quiet, most of the time I was talking, but luckily, it was busy in the chat channel, so I didn't talk to myself... πŸ™‚ I began the show with my thoughts about expectations and how they evolve during our journey on HIVE (but also in our stages of life)... Sometimes we lower them, sometimes we have higher...

The only person who came in voice this time was our new/regular participant, @relf87! He shared his story of how he came to Hive through Splinterlands and how his expectations changed during his blockchain journey... From a timid Splinterland player, he began to create content, consumed tons of the content when we were in the C19 phase, and all that changed his view and expectations from HIVE!

During his talk, he mentioned the question that raised a big debate a year (or two) ago, What would happen if there was no curation and author rewards on HIVE? Of course, we had to discuss it and share our views regarding that...

Later on, @mypathtofire opened Pandora's box regarding Web2 and Web3, so we went in that direction too... (too many offtopic this time, but that gave a nice engagement! πŸ˜ƒ) I shared my story when I was deep in Web2 with owning websites and trying to monetize them through Google Adsense... It was different before, but it got much tougher and I would say, more fierce in the Web2 world... Before, you could make it with an average website and we had many fish in the ocean, but today... If you want to make it in the Web2 world, you have to bring millions and millions of visits, fill those pockets of advertisers, and maybe then, you will get your small cut... But, even then, you have to remind yourself that you are not the owner of your content and you can be shut down at any moment!

Close to the end of the show, we switch the topic to Hive-Engine tokens and our expectations regarding them! People shared their favorite tokens in the chat and we talked about them... It was nice to read news about some tokens that I didn't know, and that's why it is great to exchange info with each other!

Don't forget to check out the show recording below! We had 10 participants (including myself) in the show this week!!! Thanks for participating, @foxkoit, @melinda010100, @misticogama, @mypathtofire, @nabu.doconosor2, @palomap3, @relf87, @trexane, and @travoved! Thank you guys and girls for the awesome time!

As usual, we had an after-show which wasn't recorded and the atmosphere got even looser... We covered a lot of other stuff and did a small AUA (ask us anything) session... πŸ˜ƒ If you want to participate in these, you gotta attend the show live! πŸ˜ƒ

Thank you, guys and girls, once again! As a sign of appreciation, I will send some LEN tokens to all participants of the live show! I know some of you like these walk and talk videos, but lately, I'm doing them very rarely... I have noticed that the last one was in December 2023! The type of content (and context) inside these videos are similar to my written version of the "Late Night Blogging" series, but as this is a video material that I'm doing in "one cut", you get additional value... πŸ˜‚ My "raw opinions", emotions, without "editing" and "softening"... πŸ˜ƒ

Summer is coming (already come), and I have decided to switch my daily walks from late afternoon and evening to the morning... It is much more pleasant to walk while the sun isn't frying everything...

Created in Canva.com (yellow thumbnail, like my T-shirt in the walk πŸ˜ƒ
It was only 9 AM when I recorded this video, but I was already ready for another rant... πŸ˜ƒ You will notice that during the recording of the video, my level of pissing off was growing, until the moment that I began to stutter... πŸ˜ƒ

I like my freedom... But, am I really free? Can I do whatever I want to do? Can I go wherever I want to go? Am I equal to someone from North America, China, or Australia? Are there differences, and why?? Those questions were bothering me and I had to vent out... I tried to go back in time, to find out why we are where we are... I have tried to focus on freedom of movement, especially after reading stories from people who want to come to #HiveFest2024, but they have to "ask for permission" to get IN (or OUT) from the country!

That reminds me of my first years in school... When I would have to go to the toilet during the class, and I had to ask my teacher for permission... Are we 7-year-old children or adults? We need a special paper, called a passport to travel from one place to another... And if our political leader of our country doesn't behave well, we have to ask for "one paper more" to travel (VISA)...

I dived deeper into that sphere and was free enough (this is Web3 and you can't ask questions about everything... Lucky us!) to talk about it... To figure out how this piece of paper went into law and got socially accepted as a "good routine" all around the globe... I have to admit that I did additional research AFTER recording the video too, and found out that some of the things that I said aren't 100% true, as a passport, in a different form was "invented" much earlier... But, they were standardized between two world wars, and only 50-60 years ago!

During World War I, European governments introduced border passport requirements for security reasons, and to control the emigration of people with useful skills. These controls remained in place after the war, becoming a standard, though controversial, procedure. British tourists of the 1920s complained, especially about attached photographs and physical descriptions, which they considered led to a "nasty dehumanisation".
Wikipedia.org

What would this place look like without passports? How would it be if we wouldn't limit freedom of movement of people? Would that destroy our societies around the world? Some people would take our jobs? I would like to hear your opinion about these things, but firstly, check out the short video I'm sharing here and leave a comment...

Are we REALLY free or are we living in an illusion? This one question can create a whole snowball reaction in your brain... We must question things around us, as these "socially acceptable" things aren't always in our best interest! People are often manipulated to accept them, because of standard tools, fear, and anger... And, often, some solutions are outdated, but still "sold" as the ONLY solution! We can do better!

Thank you for your time.

I will have to create a poll in one of the next announcement posts for the #HHHLive with the question of what type of show you would like to see... I like to see many people from the audience on the stage (or better said, in voice!), but in this particular show, I had so much fun "interviewing" (wrong wording, maybe "hang out") @detlev that I suppose we have to bring guests more often! According to the number of Hivians in the audience, I would say that they liked the show too! We had 19 people in total during the show, which was a nice show up!

Created in Canva.com
After meeting and chatting with @detlev at #BuzzParty2024 in Hamburg two months ago, it was nice to hang out with him in this #HHHLive show... Yes, this time was virtually, but we had more people involved in the discussion and we had a lot of fun... Both times... πŸ˜€ We had two big topics to discuss, and only an hour to go over them, but somehow, we managed to do it in 1 hour and 15 minutes...

In the beginning, we always like to know better our guests, so @detlev shared a few things about himself and his life... Not just that, he shared his beginning in the crypto world and our blockchain, giving some great tips for newbies and those who would like to succeed on HIVE!

As he is a creator of the Beer Community we had to ask him about his connection with this magical drink... 🍻 Also, there is a weekly contest that has been running in that community for years and if you don't know about it, you have to check out the #BeerSaturday tag!

After that, we moved to one of the main topics of the show, the upcoming #HiveMeetupAachen No 13! The event will take place in Aachen, Germany on the 28th & 29th of June 2024! There are still available tickets for the ridiculously low price of ONLY 5 HBD! So if you have a chance, I would strongly recommend you to go! There are already over 10 Hivians who confirmed their participation and there will be attendees outside the HIVE, too!!! @detlev also shared some spoilers about the exact location, which isn't still published for the broader audience! So, #HHHLive participants and listeners got the information firsthand!

You can find all the details about the Aachen meetup here!

The next big topic on our busy schedule was @worldmappin, the official successor of a very successful @pinmapple project! We got some information about the launch of the new platform, dates, upcoming upgrades, etc! Don't forget to scroll down and check out the recording of the video for full details!!!

Details about the takeover of Pinmapple, you can find at the link

Close to the end of the show, we had more topics to discuss, like the Hive witness node, run by our guest that you can support (the official username is @detlev.witness)! For more details about it you can find here!

In the Q&A part of the show, the @coldbeetrootsoup guy, @minigunner jumped in voice and began an interesting discussion about creating better bonds and connections among Hivians using tools like this show! We got unexpected alpha information about the things that are coming to our blockchain regarding these "virtual" meetups, and I hope that our #HHHLive show will be one of the first to test it!

Don't forget to check out the show recording below!We had 19 participants (including myself) in the show this week!!! Thanks for participating, @achim03, @alex-rourke, @coldbeetrootsoup, @detlev, @duskobgd, @eclipesex, @foxkoit, @idea-make-rich, @itznur, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @ninaeatshere, @palomap3, @relf87, @sacra97, @semarekha, @theringmaster, and @trexane! Thank you guys and girls for the awesome time!

Of course, we had a standard after-show when some other people arrived, so this number is even bigger... If you want to have a taste of the aftershow, you should come next week and participate in the show!!!

As this show was more of an "interview type", except our guest, we didn't have so many people in voice (during the "official show")... So, this week, Ecency POINTS are going to @coldbeetrootsoup!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

You know how I will begin the post... πŸ™‚ Every single time, when I'm editing the recording from the show, I'm saying to myself... This was the best show, EVER! I know that it could undermine all the work in the previous shows and will push the bar even higher, but it was a great show and I bet that all participants can witness that! πŸ™‚

This time, the show was a bit longer and if you didn't attend, you will have a bit more than an hour of AWESOME material to watch/listen to (I would suggest watching as you can follow the chat during the discussion)! But, it is worth checking out! You will not regret it!

Created in Canva.com
A bit of numbers... 22nd #HHHLive show, on 22nd May 2024 on the same day when we are celebrating the so-called Bitcoin Pizza Day... This show was the 3rd most visited show! Right behind those episodes with @good-karma as a guest and the huge bilingual show with presentations of different Hive communities! I'm very proud of the community around the show and all the participants who are coming every Wednesday to contribute, help others in the chat or voice, and have fun! Thank you guys, you are the best!

Another thing that caught my attention is how the topic of this show attracted so many participants! That gives me so much confidence, motivation, and inspiration to continue doing these hangouts as it shows that people CARE ABOUT HIVE, and care about each other!! In the announcement post, I titled the post Helping HIVE to Thrive, and people came here for that reason, which is awesome to see!

The show began perfectly, as @dantrin came on the mic to share his view of HIVE after only a month spent on the platform... Knowing how HIVE can be complicated for newcomers, I have to admit that I was impressed by the level of understanding that Dan had! We heard a story about the recently created Rice Discord Group by the Philippines which would like to spread great vibes on the HIVE... Their first struggles and issues that they are facing...

We went deeper into the topic when @leveluplifeph came on the mic as a creator of this project sharing his thoughts about it... We heard some interesting things about Philippines culture and we learned some new words specific to their way of working! While we had a long discussion about a plethora of topics, the show participants were following the discussion adding great comments in the chat channel!

Also, we dived deep into the topic of centralization of power, how could we do better, how we could decentralize the power... All that reminded me about my speech that I did in the #BuzzParty2024 in Hamburg, which curiously, was recorded and posted yesterday by the @buzzparty team... So, if you have time, you can check it out here...

You know that my favorite topic is HivePower and I like to remind people of the importance of it! It is the thing that is EMPOWERING, not just a person who holds it, but also OTHERS who engage with HP holders!

Before closing this "short" description of the show I just want to send a personal (public) message to @leveluplifeph... I heard your frustration with your previous attempts to find some traction... I (and probably many others) had a similar experience when I was seeking support in the wrong place, from the wrong people, as even they didn't know what they were doing... Personally, I found these shows very valuable, as they motivate me to push forward, especially seeing people who are thinking in a similar way as I... and who are struggling with the same issues...

Maybe we are not "whales", but we do understand and we can help in "our" way... And I have to share a screenshot from the Ecency Discord from the show by @beeber

That's what we can bring to the table, and make a bigger difference than a big upvote!

Don't forget to check out the show recording below!We had 19 participants in the show this week!!! Thanks for participating, @riyat, @beeber, @bulkathos, @chocolatescorpi, @dantrin, @duskobgd, @foxkoit, @idea-make-rich, @incublus, @leveluplifeph, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @ninaeatshere, @palomap3, @rarej, @shaidon, @travoved, and @trexane! Thank you guys and girls for the awesome time!

Of course, we had a standard after-show when some other people arrived, so this number is even bigger... If you want to have a taste of the aftershow, you should come next week and participate in the show!!!

Speaking of next week, I have a busy schedule on that day, but I'm planning on doing the show, but probably, it will be an hour earlier than usual... So, 3 PM UTC next Wednesday! But, follow the account and wait for the announcement post!

Thank you, guys and girls, once again! As a sign of appreciation, I will send some LEN tokens to all participants of the live show! You can pair them with LENM tokens, add liquidity to the diesel pool, and earn rewards! Of course, if you are not interested in it, you can sell tokens on the Hive-Engine market...

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us! So POINTS are going to @dantrin and @leveluplifeph!

Another great show is behind us and it was exactly as I predicted, AMAZING, and a lot of FUN! Life things occupied some of our regulars to join us, but we had some new peeps in the show, which is always great to see!!! Also, I was happy to see that all people who came to the show were with us to the end, which means that my opinion about the show being amazing, isn't biased! πŸ˜ƒ

As I mentioned in the announcement post we have continued our talk from the previous week about stepping out of the comfort zone... But, this time, we were talking about HIVE, our journey on HIVE, what did we learn new, how it helped us, etc.

Created in Canva.com
Last time we had a record number of people coming in voice sharing their experiences, but this time we were close to that record! Seven participants decided to share the stage with me and it was awesome to see you guys, breaking the stagefright, and stepping out of your comfort zone! These two shows were exactly about that and you guys did it in live, breaking the "chains of comfort"!

As usual, I have decided to show by example, and I shared my first steps on HIVE and how that was already out of my comfort zone... I wasn't creating and sharing stuff on traditional social media networks, so HIVE was a huge step for me...

The first person who came in voice was @theringmaster, who was in the show for the first time, so he made a couple of steps out of his comfort zone! As he is relatively new on HIVE, he shared with us his first impressions of the platform and the people that he met here... Check out his profile page and see if you are interested in the content that he is creating and show him some love in the comment section! πŸ™

It's always great to see some of the returning people in the show and we all like to see the Ecency OG, @beeber with us in the show! She was the second person in the mic, breaking her chains of coming on stage and talking in English! She shared her experience with HIVE and how different it was compared to other social networks, especially after going deeper, making new friends, and sharing personal things on the chain...

Exactly in the moments when @beeber finished her talk, @chocolatescorpi bumped into the show, with unmuted mic! πŸ˜‚ It's live-streaming and anything can happen, so we welcomed her, presented the topic of the show and she took some time to think about it... Later in the show, she came back on the mic and shared which steps out of her comfort zone she did and how we are getting more open to sharing when we make friends who support us!

It was the second time that we had @relf87 in the #HHHLive show and he decided to come on the mic again! Thanks, buddy! Like many of us, he was struggling when he came to the HIVE as he didn't know anyone! It is hard to make friends and engage, but slowly by joining communities, it is possible... We also talked about different communities and how important is to get out of the "comfy community", join others too, and spread the word about it! πŸ™‚

As @travoved missed the last show, he shared his biggest stepping out of his comfort zone when he had a meeting with the CEO of the world-famous bank on his business trip to Germany! Regarding his HIVE experience, he shared the struggle to create "selfie videos", which I 100% agree with... I had the same problem as him, it was a huge step for me too!!

Our *crypto-mom" @melinda010100 was the next to come on the mic... She shared how @good-karma pushed her "over the edge" and threw in the "Ecency fire"! It looks like she learned that method from GK and implemented it with some others in the Ecency community... πŸ™‚ I know that she did it to me, but I'm truly grateful that she did it as that helped me to grow! ❀️

Just before the end of the show, @idea-make-rich came on the mic stepping out of his comfort zone... He did a small step in the previous show and came back this time again... We will see what will he prepare for us in the next one!

Don't forget to check out the show recording below!I want to say that I have really enjoyed these last two shows as it was very inspiring listening to these stories from participants of the show! It was great to see some of you growing by stepping out of your comfort zone and if you need some help on your HIVE journey, you know where you can find it!

This time, we had 13 participants in the show! I was happy to see some new people in the audience! I hope that you liked the show and will come again! Thanks for participating, @riyat, @beeber, @chocolatescorpi, @duskobgd, @foxkoit, @idea-make-rich, @melinda010100, @palomap3, @relf87, @shaidon, @theringmaster, and @travoved! Thank you guys and girls for the awesome time!

Of course, the after-show was imminent and we had a great time talking about meetups and the upcoming HiveFest in September... The plans, the routes how to get there, and avoiding selling body parts to be able to buy plane tickets... πŸ˜‚

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (this time we had many participants in voice again! That was awesome to see!)! So POINTS are going to @theringmaster, @beeber, @relf87, @chocolatescorpi, @travoved, @melinda010100 and @idea-make-rich!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

I'm probably biased, but I have to say that the last show was fantastic!!! Yes, I had some technical issues during the show and some parts are missing in the recording, but those who were in the livestream got the whole package! So, next time, don't forget to join us! Wednesdays, Ecency Discord voice chat channel!

I was optimistic in the announcement post with the topic as I thought that we could cover everything that I had on my mind in 1 hour, but that didn't happen... So, we will continue the discussion next week, but we will be very specific and limited to the stepping out from the comfort zone on HIVE!

Created in Canva.com
The idea was to split this #HHHLive show into 3 parts where we would talk about "leaving" the comfort zone in 3 different aspects... 1) the First time that we could remember doing it, 2) the most important time in our life, and for the end, 3) stepping out of comfort zone on HIVE... We covered the first 2 points, and left the third for the next week!

First steps out of the comfort zoneAs a host, I broke the ice with my story from my childhood that I still remember very well, and after me, @incublus was the bravest to share his story of leaving a small village to continue his school in a big city! For a teenage boy, that is a huge step which wasn't easy to do!

After him, @felixx shared the taekwondo story of his first fight and how that changed completely his attitude and confidence! It is all about leaving the comfort zone, which has a huge (usually positive) impact on our lives!

One of the newcomers to the show was @relf87, who came to the mic on his first participation (good job!)!! He shared his experience when he was in the student exchange program and traveled from Asia to Mexico! That shaped his future life as he had a chance to see how others are living in the unknown country for me, speaking a language that he didn't know!

After fixing his Discord issues, @alex-rourke came in voice and shared his first steps out of his comfort zone, at the school dance, dancing and holding hands with a girl(s)... You have to agree that at a young age, that is a kind of a big deal! πŸ™‚

@bulkathos shared his stuff from the University, but as the sound quality was awful, I had to cut out that part from the recording... Sorry about that... :(

After the technical issues that I had with my computer, we came back to normality and @pravesh0 shared his story where he beat frightstage by presenting his work in front of many others... He got instant gratification for doing that as his work won the competition! Imagine how that boosted his self-confidence and helped him in his future life!

Among others, @palomap3 had also a very interesting story that she shared! It was a very negative experience, but those things happen more times than we want to admit... But, in most cases, the experience that we get from negative experiences is much more effective than any other, especially if we successfully accept it and CONTINUE! That's what she did!

We had another first-time participant in the show, @idea-make-rich jumped on the mic to present himself which was great to hear! Welcome to the #HHHLive family!

Most impactful steps out of the comfort zoneIt was time to step into the second part of the show where the idea was to share the most impactful "excursion" out of the comfort zone... The same as with the first part, I shared my experience with migrating out of my home country, going into the unknown, only with my wife and a small child...

Next in line was @melinda010100, when she shared her first airplane ticket purchase and flight to her 2-week vacation to Russia! Maybe for us Europeans that doesn't sound like a big deal, but for people from the US it is, especially after all the MSM crap served for decades about the "darkest country" in the world... :)

In the end, @felixxx shared another story (probably inspired by Alex's story), but this time it was about girls, and the story finished in a completely unexpected way... To find out how you will have to check out the video recording from the show... πŸ˜›

Don't forget to check out the show recording below! We had a nice amount of participants in the show too! We had 15 people in total, and most of them (you) stayed from the beginning to the end, which means that we did a great job in the show! Sharing personal stories can inspire and motivate others to do amazing things and that was one of the points of doing the show with this topic! Thanks for participating, @alex-rourke, @bhattg, @bulkathos, @djbravo, @felixx, @foxkoit, @idea-make-rich, @incublus, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @pravesh0, @relf87, and @sacra97! Thanks to you guys, this show was awesome!

The after-show is imminent, and after the "official" part we were talking about the upcoming #HiveFest in Croatia, sharing some traveling tips and ideas for accommodation... That part wasn't recorded, so if you want to have an after-show, you should join the next show live! πŸ™‚

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (this time we had many participants in voice)! So POINTS are going to @incublus, @felixxx, @relf87, @alex-rourke, @bulkathos, @palomap3, @pravesh0, @melinda010100 and @idea-make-rich!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

The show is back! On Wednesday, we had another great show in the Ecency Discord, and this time we were discussing about different ways to buy and sell HIVE... As not all exchanges and tools are available in every country, it is important to share information with other Hivians and help them... That was exactly the point of this show and I think that we did a great job... You have a recording of the show inside the post and don't forget to check it out!

Created in Canva.com
The show was divided into 3 parts (or it was 4 parts in the end? πŸ€”) and we went through a lot of things... I will share in this "video description" just mentioned exchanges and tools, but I would strongly suggest you check out the video to hear more about them and the experiences that other participants shared!

In the part where we were talking about buying/selling crypto with fiat, we mentioned 4 big centralized changes (CEX-es)

When we were talking about them, @palomap3 jumped on the mic and shared her experience with Binance, mentioning crypto taxes which led to the next part where we discussed about prepaid crypto cards... They are similar to classic debit cards but more limited... Speaking of them, we mentioned just a couple of the most popular like:

The next part of the show was a talk about exchanges that we have here on HIVE, swapping between HIVE to/from HBD, and using the conversion option too... One of the great tools that we have for that is https://hivedex.io/ where you can create buy/sell orders at certain prices... Similar to spot trading on centralized exchanges...

All that led to the final part where we were talking about Hive-Engine and using it for bringing different cryptos to HIVE or exchanging HIVE for other crypto... We mentioned 3 most popular websites where you can do exchanges:

At the very end of the show, @mypathtofire came on the mic and shared his experience with @v4vapp service which is another great tool that you can use to spend your earned HIVE... Also, we mentioned crypto gift cards, but I didn't find the link during the show, so here it is https://www.bitrefill.com/us/en/. You can change to your country at the top of the page and see if you can use them in your country... Combining @v4vapp with these cards can help you with spending your HIVE...

Don't forget to check out the show recording below!

We had a standard #HHHLive team participating in the show! Unselfishly, @duskobgd, @foxkoit, @incublus, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, and @pravesh0 shared their experiences with exchanges and moving tokens around! I learned new things and ways how to buy and sell HIVE and I hope that others learned too! Also, I bet that you will also find some useful information in the recording of the show!

As usual, we had a fantastic aftershow where we had more people jumping in... I have suspicions that they are coming only for the aftershow fun, and not for the main show... πŸ˜› All in all over 2 hours of great fun with some great Hivians! It was a pleasure to hang around with you guys!

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (this time we had 2 participants in voice)! So POINTS are going to @palomap3 and @mypathtofire!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,
--ph--

We had a fantastic #HHHLive show on Wednesday in the Ecency Discord server where experienced Hivians were sharing their favorite tools for content creation! It's a pity that we didn't have newbies in the live stream as it was a very valuable show... Luckily, I have recorded the show for you guys who were unable to attend it! By the way, I have learned about tools that I didn't know, and I bet that other participants also heard things that they weren't aware of before!

So, if you are a content creator and you would like to make your posts more beautiful, nicer, and better formatted, you have to check out the attached video with a recording of the 18th episode of the Hive Humpday Hangout show! (scroll down to find the video!)

Created in Canva.com
The real beauty of HIVE is the people that we can find here... I'm very grateful that some of them were able to attend the show, as they were unselfishly sharing tips about the tools that they are using for creating "better" content... Some of them came in voice and explained how some of these apps work, and others were sharing tips in the chat section...

The general idea before the show was to split these tools into 3 main categories, but in the end, we got one additional category that I skipped... I will share the links to the mentioned apps here in the post, and to find out more about them, I would suggest you PLAY the video!

Text* Grammarly plugin - https://app.grammarly.com/ * Deepl - https://www.deepl.com/translator
Doesn't support all languages, but works better than Google Translate... * Thesaurus - https://www.thesaurus.com/
If you want to find a replacement of words (synonyms for example)

Templating* Hackmd - https://hackmd.io/Re_pycHSTL6_KfYBsgey0w * UpNote - https://getupnote.com/ * https://www.notion.so/

Photo editing* Your mobile phone image editor! * Canva - https://www.canva.com/ * https://www.remove.bg/ - As in Canva for FREE there is no option for removing background, this is a great tool for doing that * Photopea - https://www.photopea.com/ shared by @macchiata * https://pixlr.com/editor/ - shared by @incublus

Video editing* YouCut - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.camerasideas.trimmer&hl=en≷=US It is only available for mobile * Handbrake - https://handbrake.fr/downloads.php * OBS - https://obsproject.com/download * https://www.capcut.com/

Don't forget to check out the show recording below! As you have maybe noticed, we had some new voices in Wednesday's show... For the first time we had @macchiata and @mysteriousroad in the show, and later in the show @ahmedhayat joined us... Besides them, we had the old #HHHLive team that is almost every week, helping others on the Hive journey, @duskobgdm, @incublus, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, and @quekery! I'm truly grateful to have you guys in the show! Hive Humpday Hangout wouldn't be what it is without you! ❀️

As usual, we had fun in the after-show where we discussed different things, but we kept that "confidential" for the participants... πŸ˜ƒ Just kidding, of course... We talked about crypto stuff mostly, but it is always a mix of topics... Come to the next show and take part in the fun!

Thank you, guys and girls, once again! As a sign of appreciation, I will send some LEN tokens to all participants of the live show! I suppose that many people who have been on HIVE for some time heard many times that consistency is the key of growth on this platform... We all heard it, we all know it, but are we really living it? Are we consistent with engaging on (and off) the platform? That's another pair of shoes... It's easy to say, but not that easy to do it...

Especially when hard times are coming, you see fewer and fewer active people, fewer comments, less content, and less engagement... On the other side, when the HIVE price begins to go up, we have "returning" Hivians, coming back to the platform, creating content, and trying to re-build their accounts, until the next price dump... when they will probably leave again... Both cases are an obvious example of inconsistency, and wrong understanding of building wealth, building relations, and building in general... The strongest bonds are always created in difficult times, and in the same way, crypto accumulations are the most effective if it is done when the prices are low...

Created in Canva.com
It is very easy to explain how it works here on HIVE... There is a reward pool in HIVE that is being distributed through curation (upvotes) to Hivians who create content... No matter if it is a bull market, or a bear market this pool is the SAME SIZE... So, if there are fewer people on the platform (few content, comments), people are getting more rewards... It doesn't look like that in those moments, as you see the USD value under your posts, but you do get more HIVE!!! In the bull market is the opposite, more content, more authors, the same reward pool is split among more authors, and the "cut" is smaller... Again, you have the illusion that you earn more as the USD value is bigger, but in reality, you receive fewer HIVE tokens... That's why it's important to accumulate in the bear market!

Of course, you should build in the bull market too... You have having bigger audience, you can create more connections and relations, and that's always a great bonus! So, all in all, it is important to be CONSISTENT and build, regardless of the bull or the bear markets!!!

Darn, I created a post inside the post as that was a long introduction part! Back to the show that we had on Wednesday! The topic seems like an easy one, but it is very wide and we covered multiple aspects in the show...

In the beginning, I went through a couple of comments that you guys left on my announcement post as they were insightful, from people who unfortunately didn't manage to get to the show... One of the comments that I didn't mention in the show was by @palomap3, where she dropped the great thought about the FREQUENCY of doing things... When we talk about consistency, we often think about some daily routines that we are doing, but they don't have to be DAILY... We can be consistent in a different timeframe, and take off some pressure from ourselves...

Speaking of daily posting, I shared my experience from the past when I was daily posting on HIVE for months... That way of pushing hard content creation has good sides, but also it has some bad sides... Losing creativity, doing things "mechanically", creating content for the sake of the content, and not for others, etc.

It was great to get some of you guys in voice... For example, @pravesh0 voluntarily wanted to share his thoughts on consistency... πŸ˜ƒ Through his talk we got into the topic of multiple accounts on HIVE and why they are good or bad... Are they useful or not? Check out the video and leave your opinion in the comment section...

After him, we had @incublus on the stage sharing his views... He was lucky that he learned about consistency almost right after he came to HIVE! How crucial is it to be consistent and to engage with others, create bonds, and make new friends... As I had a mini-rant about some "lazy" comments, he said something that should be written in the HIVE guidelines book... Talking about comments...

It is not about the number (of comments)... it is about the value!

So, we had a very productive show where we covered multiple topics like leaving meaningful comments, meetups, appreciation, etc.

Don't forget to check out the recording of the show below! This time we had a smaller group of participants, but I like to call it a CORE group... It was busy in the chat section too and I was lagging with checking out the comments during the show! Including myself, we had 9 participants who were more-less with us from the beginning to the end of the show! That's always nice to see! Thank you, @bemier, @bulkathos, @foxkoit, @incublus, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, and @pravesh0 for attending and participating in the show! I think that we did a great job and the recording will be useful for others!!!

As usual, we had an after-show session which was a lot of fun as many others joined the voice discussion!! I had an awesome time and it was nice to see that others had too!!!

EDIT: Oh, one important thing... In the after-show, we brought up the idea of having more guests in future shows, and one of the requests was to have @melinda010100 as a special guest in voice... So, what do you guys think about that? Would you like to see more "ordinary" Hivians who are doing the "groundwork" that sometimes isn't visible as future guests? Melinda, would you accept the invitation to be a guest in the next #HHHLive show?

Thank you, guys and girls, once again! As a sign of appreciation, I will send some LEN tokens to all participants of the live show! You can pair them with LENM tokens, add liquidity to the diesel pool, and earn rewards! If you want to learn more about the project behind it, check out the @liotes account or visit the Liotes website... Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

For the first 14 shows, I was delaying the decision to have guests in the show as I wanted to share the stage with the audience and to have them as guests/hosts of the show... But, after having @good-karma in the show, and so much great feedback about it, I had no choice but to continue in that direction, so in this show, we had another guest, @minigunner from the @coldbeetrootsoup project!

We had a great time talking about different things but trying to keep the focus on the fresh "sub-project" of them, which could change lives in one school, and we hope to continue spreading and helping all around the world! This is just beginning, and I hope that you will contribute in the way you can... Comments and upvotes are also counted and are very welcome! Follow the accounts mentioned in this post and leave a comment on the mentioned posts!

Created in Canva.com
We began the show with an introduction of our guest, where he shared who is @minigunner, how he got his nickname, and how he found this awesome blockchain and community! As he mentioned his friend @artakush (co-founder of @coldbeetrootsoup), we went there and learned more about their encounter...

As we dived deeper into the topic, we found out that the CBRS isn't just 2 people, but also has a third partner (@k3lci3) which is the core of the project... But, there's more... πŸ˜ƒ As the project was growing, the team was expanding and there were many people who were helping out among them, our guest mentioned @tibfox, @bambukah, @mercadomaestro, and @dovycola...

We were lucky to have @artakush in the audience as he jumped on the microphone a couple of times during the show, presenting his perspective on the project development, past works, and future steps!

The main topic of the show was their latest project @cbrsphilanthropy, which has launched a huge initiative to help out a school in Caracas, Venezuela, by creating a kind of HIVE-hub by providing Internet infrastructure with all needed equipment! And not just that, the idea is to have people on the ground who will help children by teaching them about the importance of Web3, blockchain technology, and HIVE!

You can find out more details about the initiative here, and also, there is a Spanish version made by @nahupuku that you can check out here... It would be great if you could check out the posts and leave feedback!!!

As time was limited, we have probably skipped many topics, and one of them is another project that is developing under the CBRS umbrella... After the show, @minigunner shared this with me on Discord:

We are creating a community on Hive for the MAK Museum Vienna. We are onboarding them to Web3. Once the community is created they will present the community to all the visitors of the Museum. This is a great Onboarding to Web3 and Hive.

You can check out the X page of the museum here: https://twitter.com/daomakdao
the person responsible for that project is @elmirabear, so don't forget to check her out, too! She is working on the Whitepaper at the moment and the idea is to create a DAO for the Museum on HIVE!

Don't forget to check out the recording of the show below! As I said at the beginning, it looks like you guys like these "interview" shows as we had 15 participants in the show! I would like to thank @artakush, @beeber, @bulkathos, @chinay04, @minigunner, @duskobgd, @felixxx, @foxkoit, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @quekery, @sacra97, and @sacra97 for attending the show!!! You guys ROCK!!!

As usual, we had our usual after-show where we were listening to relaxing music, clearing some HIVE doubts... πŸ˜ƒ

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (this time, only our 2 guests were talking in the show, but we like to reward guests too! πŸ˜ƒ)! So POINTS are going to @artakush and @minigunner!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

~ph~

Maybe I was too optimistic about the idea of creating a show around profit-taking as not many are aware of the importance of it... Or, maybe because of that, it was a good move? πŸ€” But, those who recognized the importance of discussing this topic were present and actively discussing it in the show! Oh, yes... It was Valentine's Day and many people had different plans for that day... 😍

Anyway, despite all that, we had a lot of fun at the show! We had a standard group of amazing people, and we learned a couple of new things... To be honest, I learned more than a couple! While I was listening to the recording to summarize things about the show in these words, I learned something new that I wasn't aware of during the show! As I said multiple times, I suck at multitasking and I need to focus to absorb and process the information... πŸ˜ƒ

Created in Canva.com
The idea for the show was to go by those points from the post about profit-taking trading strategies, that I mentioned in the announcement post, and modify them slightly for a better fit for us, as an ordinary small investors...

Some of the discussed strategies were

  • Time-based exit profit taking
  • Using the opposite signal
  • Using a fixed profit target
  • Fundamental exits

I have shared some of my mistakes from the previous 2 cycles where I was "participating" and where I had no idea what was going on... Some lessons I learned from that and shared with the audience... Of course, some lessons I will have to learn in the future too... :)

Those who had experience with investing shared their thoughts about the topic... @felixxx did that in voice, sharing some interesting facts about the experiment done on people, which was on the topic of investing, and risk-taking... In the comment section, @bulkathos shared his views on the topic too, and others did too...

In the end, we came to the same conclusion that the most important thing is to avoid EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT to the investing asset! For the rest of the discussion, I suggest you check the video below...

Oh, yes... None of the things in the show were financial advice!

Don't forget to check out the recording of the show below! We had @beeber back into our #HHHLive first team and it was nice to see her second time in a row!!! The rest of the participants are the show legends, which are a well-established group of people who don't hesitate to help anyone in need! We had 10 people in total participating during the show, @beeber, @bulkathos, @chinay04, @felixxx, @foxkoit, @incublus, @melinda010100, @palomap3, and @sacra97! Thanks everyone for participating! I'm so grateful to have you in the show!

Close to the end of the show, we went into different topics, so it was time to finish the "official recording", but everyone stayed for the after-show! We had an additional hour of fun discussing different topics from real estate in different countries, ridiculous laws, and immigration issues, to history talk about the Romans and Ottoman Empires... πŸ˜‚ All in all, a lot of fun and some great learning lessons from first-hand!

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (this time, we had only 2 people talking in the show, @felixxx and @incublus (who helped me to find the right word πŸ˜ƒ) were sharing their thoughts on the mic)!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

I'm sorry for posting this recording this late, but 3Speak had some serious problems in the past days and it was impossible to upload the video... So, I would suggest that next time you come to the show and participate in a live event... πŸ˜ƒ It is much more fun and you can get involved in the creation of the show... Of course, for those with a good reason for being absent, I will continue creating these recap posts and I hope that 3Speak will solve their issues once and for forever!

Firstly, the Wednesday show was AMAZING!!! That was my first show where I was doing an interview and having a guest, and I was honored to have @good-karma as my first guest! Like I said in the announcement post, hosting this show in the Ecency Discord, made this occasion even more perfect!

Created in Canva.com
There were too many questions and topics that we would like to discuss with @good-karma, so we needed to shrink them and try to do our best to cover as many as possible things in the 1-hour show! We went a bit out of that time, but time was flying as it was so much fun!

Without making spoilers, I will try to sum up things in short lines, but you will have to check out the recording to get more details about them... What were the questions and topics?

  • Who is Good-Karma?
  • How did he start with his blockchain and crypto journey?
  • Beginning of Ecency on the legacy chain and its growth...
  • Ecency desktop and mobile app... Current and future developments... Exclusive info about new additions soon!!
  • Adding videos directly from Ecency, collaboration with 3Speak... issues, struggles with developing innovative things
  • Removing current POINTS usage (boosting posts) and implementing new use cases! Sneak a peak for the near future...
  • Ads on Ecency? Brainstorming of self-sufficient platform...
  • HBD APR standpoints...
  • Questions from the audience!

Now that I look at all these topics, we have covered a LOT in such a short time!

Don't forget to check out the recording of the show below! It was expected that we would have a lot of participants/audience in the show, so including the guest and myself, we were 20 during the show, and 17 at the peak of the show! Almost no one left the show after getting IN! We have in the show: @achim03, @alberto0607, @beeber, @bulkathos, @chinay04, @duskobgd, @emrebeyler, @djbravo, @felixxx, @foxkoit, @incublus, @ironshield, @manclar, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @ninaeatshere, @palomap3, and @sacra97! Thanks everyone for participating! This show wouldn't exist without you guys!

When we finished the show, it was already too late for @good-karma to stay more with us, but we did have our, now traditional, after-show! That part isn't recorded, but it is always a lot of fun as more people come on the mic and we always have some "relaxing" topics for discussion...

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (this time, we had only 2 people talking in the show, @incublus, and @manclar were asking questions on the mic)!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

~ph~

I had a hard time writing an announcement post for this show and because of that, it was a perfect topic to discuss! As a matter of fact, I didn't have the same problem in writing this recap post, so it looks like shared solutions from the show helped! πŸ™‚

At the beginning of the show, we just had the "core #HHHLive team" participating, but very soon others jumped to the show to share their views and ideas for coping with the Writer's block, the nightmare of every content creator... If you are creating content, sooner or later, you will have that problem and how will you overcome it is usually a personal thing... But, we do have similar patterns as I recognized some of mine in the @palomap3 story! πŸ™‚ That's why it's good to share our issues with others as in that way, others can help us and we can help them!

Created in Canva.com
As we started the show slowly, I had some second thoughts about keeping it informal and "avoiding" this unpleasant topic, but despite all odds, we dived into the Writer's block problem! In the beginning, I shared some of my issues and how I try to "solve the problem", but also, I shared in the show great comments by @jfang003 and @ekavieka in the last post...

It was nice to hear people sharing their views about this, so we had 4 people in voice and others were sharing their experiences in the chat...

  • Fun Pravesh (@pravesh0) joined us from the beginning searching for answers behind some of the account names of people in the audience, but we did pull out some great tips on how to overcome writer's block from him!
  • On the other side, @incublus has a specific problem with stopping content creation in the middle of the process... Check the video and if you have a solution to it, please share it in the comment section!
  • @palomap3 shared her solutions for the problem and pointed out the importance of taking notes immediately when you get ideas for posts
  • the last person on the mic was @manclar, and he had some great, unique ideas for overcoming writer's block! If you don't know what to write, check out his ideas in the video!!!
  • We also had some great ideas shared in the chat!

Don't forget to check out the recording of the show below! This week, we had the same number of participants as last time! Including myself, 12 people joined the fun in the Ecency Discord, @alberto0607, @bulkathos, @chinay04, @foxkoit, @pravesh0, @incublus, @manclar, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @sacra97, and yummycruz (don't know the HIVE username)! Thanks everyone for participating!

As usual, we had a great and relaxed aftershow hangout... This part is not recorded, so if you want to participate in it, you will have to be present live! During the aftershow, I shared the idea of doing a "special show", once per month (or similar), where we would have a Q&A session... People could share their issues and problems that they found on HIVE, and others will try to help out... So, there will be no specific topic to discuss, but rather a chat and sharing experiences that we have/had on HIVE... These special shows would not be recorded, so if you would like to participate, you will have to do it live! As usual, I will do an announcement post before doing the show.

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (this time, we had 4 people talking in the show, @pravesh0, @incublus, @palomap3, and @manclar)!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

~ph~

To be honest, I had some bigger expectations about the number of people in the audience for this show as I was doing this topic because many asked for it... What is most important is that all important people were present in the live stream and I bet that they got some very valuable information about Hive-Engine and tokens!

A few hours after the show, when I took a reflection on how it went, I realized that in the show (and the after-show, sorry no recording of that) we shared some information that is very hard to find anywhere! Having an audience of experienced Hivians helps a lot as they are adding an immense amount of value to the livestream!

Created in Canva.com
The show itself (recorded part) was around an hour and we had almost an hour of after-show! We were talking about so many things around the Hive Engine that are very hard to put down in words, so I would suggest you check out the recordings below... At the beginning, we were talking about Hive-Engine, what it is, how it works... We compared it with some other similar platforms and see the differences among them... Also, we have dedicated part of the show to pointing out risks involved with trading, but also with investing in different tokens...

Other topics that were discussed were:

  • What are SWAP.HIVE, SWAP.HBD, and other SWAP. tokens? How do they work?
  • How can you create a token on the Hive-Engine
  • @achim03 joined us on voice sharing his experience with creating the 2 tokens on @liotes, the miner token and the mined token...
  • Through discussion, we came to the topic of Dieselpools, so we went in that direction too... Explained how they work, what are the risks, and showed different approaches to using them...
  • As the main topic was to share your favorite topics, we checked who liked which token from the audience... @achim03, @paloma3, and @melinda010100 shared their voice, while other people used the chat channel to share their favorite tokens...

Don't forget to check out the recordings!Including myself, we had 12 people during the show: @achim03, @daddydog, @duskobgd, @felixxx, @foxkoit, @manclar, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @sacra97, and @travoved! Thanks everyone for participating!

As usual, we had an aftershow "session" when the "official" show finished, and I have to say that it was almost the same valuable as the show itself! We were talking about different topics but still connected with our favorite chain... It was a talk about the importance of decentralized Hive (and Hive-Engine) nodes, but also a tech talk about some hardware specifications that are needed for running witness nodes...

In general, a lot of value for the audience that wasn't leaving until the very end of the livestream! As I said at the beginning, when I was searching for this info in the past, I didn't find it in written form, and that shows the importance of these "virtual meetups" where people share their experiences!

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (this time, we had 3 people talking in the show, @achim03, @palomap3, and @melinda010100)!

Yesterday, after a 1-week short break, the #HHHLive show was live again with another great and useful topic! We have gathered again to help newbies swim in the (for them) undiscovered Hive waters... In the announcement post, I said that this show would be like a "second step" for newbies, and it was indeed like that! I have prepared a note before the show with your suggestions from the comment section, but we went so much broader in discussion thanks to your questions from the chat during the show!

Also, I would like to send a huge THANKS to @zakludick who came to our show for the first time, and as an experienced HIVE "onboarder" shared so much useful information with us! With his suggestions during the show, it was so much easier to go through the topics as he was adding value and tweaking every single subject... Zak is a great role model for onboarding people and helping out newbies!

Of course, I can't forget the rest of the participants who were very active in the chat during the show asking (and replying to) questions! I have recorded all the action so you can listen to the show, but also follow the chat in the video!

Created in Canva.com
If you weren't there live, I don't want to spoil the show for you and will let you know only about some of the topics that we have covered...

  • Guidelines for newbies
  • The system is not rewarding you, people do!
  • Content creation process and practices...
  • Commenting, number of comments, quality vs quantity
  • practical tips about Voting Power
  • a bit on downvotes
  • consistency and insistency, by @zakludick (TM)
  • curation trails talk...
  • and much much more...

Don't forget to check out the recordings!Including myself, we had 14 people during the show: @achim03, @balikis95, @bulkathos, @duskobgd, @foxkoit, @incublus, @manuphotos, @melinda010100, @palomap3, @pravesh0, @sacra97, @zakludick, and @yenmendt! Thanks everyone for participating!

As usual, we had an after-show session which wasn't recorded where we had some more tips and discussions on the daily topic, but also some offtopics that people from the audience wanted to bring up... So, if you need motivation to come to the show, these after-shows are a nice one!

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (this time, only @zakludick was interested in talking πŸ˜€)!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

The last #HHHLive show for 2023 is behind us and if you were attending it, you made history... πŸ™‚ It was a 10th edition and we were talking about New Year's resolutions and #MyHiveGoals (I mean, not just mine, but everyone's πŸ™‚)... As I said in the announcement post, that is my second favorite topic, just behind the HivePower talks!

We are in the holiday season and it has been quiet recently on HIVE, but also around different Discord channels... Everyone is busy eating and drinking... πŸ™‚ We had our #HHHLive family in the show, and we were 11 in total, discussing these important topics! Not many were available to share their thoughts in voice, but we had a lot of fun in the chat section!

Created in Canva.com
The first part of the show was more like warming up for the topic, checking out our 2023 NY resolutions and how we did... To be honest, I try to avoid these resolutions because of my previous experience of failing them... πŸ˜ƒ

After that, I shared the main principles of creating S.M.A.R.T. Goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound), going one by one on those characteristics... To get a better picture, we can compare them with NY resolutions and we can notice the obvious difference between the two... We discuss that too!

In the second part of the show, participants shared their views about goals and resolutions and some have shared their goals for 2024! Personally, I'm still not 100% sure about my goals for the next year, but I know that one of my goals will be connected with growing my HivePower! For me, that's the most important thing on HIVE!

Don't forget to check out the recordings!Including myself, we had 11 people during the show: @duskobgd, @foxkoit, @incublus, @melinda010100, @mell79, @mipiano, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @travoved, and @sacra97 who was coming and disappearing through the show πŸ˜ƒ... Thanks everyone for participating!

When we ended the show, everyone was aware of the post-after-show hangout as nobody was leaving... hehehe... So, we had almost an additional hour chatting about different topics suggested by participants... and, I got some great ideas for the future topics for the show! Thanks for that too!

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (this time, only @incublus was available for talk)!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

I needed only 3 months to create the next Walk & Talk Series video... :) After that video, I began with the #HHHLive show in the Ecency Discord show which took some of my free time (and free "slots") that I was using for these videos... But, I don't regret anything... The show had its 10th episode today and we had a lot of fun... But, that's not the topic of this video...

It is December and we still have great weather in Spain... The only problem is that we have shorter daylight time, but from a couple of days ago, it is getting better... Days are longer and longer... :) I got on my walk a few days ago and as in the good old days, I decided to record some of my thoughts that I had in mind... Sharing it with you in this video and I hope that you will get some value from it!

Created in Canva.com
I was in a "rumble mode" as I went through a couple of topics, but don't worry, the video isn't too long... We had a bear market in 2022, and in 2023 the direction changed and we saw some positive news in the crypto markets... All that reminded me of 2018-2019, exactly 4 years ago, when we were at the same point of the cycle... I was stressed, I was anxious, depressed... Today, I had a completely different "feeling"...

Also, in the video I shared my thoughts about early retirement as that is one of the plans that I would like to reach... But, it's not as easy as some Youtubers are presenting...

Speaking of that, I shared my view about certain tokens and their longevity... For some reason, we think that the tokens that we have in our portfolio will go up forever and that we will be able to live from them all our lifetime... The truth is that many tokens that were HOT 4 years ago aren't anymore... Some of them disappeared completely... So, watch out with your bags and "listen to the markets"...

Don't forget to check out the video below!!

Thank you for your time,

~ph~

The best thing about real-life meetups is to create new bonds, "putting" real faces behind the avatars, and getting new friends for life! The second best to IRL meetups are "virtual meetups", like this one that we are having every Wednesday, under the #HHHLive umbrella, in the Ecency Discord! Yesterday we met up for the 9th time, and for the last few shows, you can notice that "family" is forming around it!

There are several "core participants" who are coming back to the show over and over again, enjoying the presence of their fellow Hivians... Family is getting bigger as time passes by, and bonds are getting stronger! So, for this show, I have decided to create a more "personal" topic as we are a family, and it was great to hear about your personal achievements from 2023, and your ups and downs... The best view was to see the support from others in the chat, encouraging each other and pointing out how achievements that look small for us, made a big impact on others! Sometimes we underestimate ourselves and our efforts, and our friends are there to show us that it did make a difference, it was worth it, and that you did it!

Created in Canva.com
This show (episode) was purely created to create bonds... Maybe in this one, we didn't learn how to trade tokens on Hive-Engine, or what VESTS are, but we have definitely learned more about the people who are on the same journey as us... About their issues, their aspirations, their struggles, their wins...

Isn't this time exactly for that? To gather the family around the table on Christmas, talk with them, and relax... Enjoy in the presence of those who we respect and who we love... Tomorrow is another day, another challenge... And it's much easier to go through challenges having someone by your side...

MERRY CHRISTMAS HHH FAMILY!!! WISH YOU ALL THE BEST!!!

Don't forget to check out the recordings! It wasn't a huge show (by numbers) like the last time, but all members of the family were here, which is the most important! But, I was happy to see half of the people coming on the mic, and sharing their 2023 highlights! That's a great progress! I remember one of the previous shows where I was talking for almost an hour, so this is a great step forward!

Including myself, we had 12 people during the show: @asgharali, @blind-spot, @felixxx, @foxkoit, @incublus, @manclar, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @travoved, and @wanderingmoon! Thanks everyone for participating!

The recording is around 1 hour, but we had a long after-show! You know how it goes when you enjoy good company... Nobody wants to leave! πŸ˜ƒ In that additional hour, we went through some questions from the audience and discussed several things connected to HIVE... But, there is no recording for that part... ☹️ So, if you want to participate, come next Wednesday and join the WHOLE fun! πŸ˜ƒ

Thank you guys and girls, once again!

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (@palomap3, @manclar, @felixxx, @travoved, and @mypathtofire)!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

First of all, if you are an English speaker, don't close this post immediately because of the title, but keep on reading... All the communities that were presented in this show accept bilingual publications, which means that you CAN publish your creations in them as long as you add Spanish translation to them! And, believe me, you will be astonished at how great are some of those communities! So, keep on reading, and don't forget to listen to the show too! There was an English translation and it was a lot of fun!

Created in Canva.com
After clarifying that, I would just say... WHAT A BLAST WAS THIS SHOW!!! We had a record number attending the event and it looks like everyone had a lot of fun... So, in total, 28 people were in the audience during the show, while at the peak, we had 24 Hivians at the same time... To be honest, the number was more than the same during the show, which means that you guys enjoyed it! And how wouldn't you when we had some awesome people on the mic presenting their communities and projects?

Another important thing to say is that this show wouldn't be possible without the help of @palomap3, who was the co-host (I would say that she was running the show!) of this show and she did his job awesome! I was trying to catch as many things as possible from the people on the mic and translate them into English, but I have probably missed a lot (sorry about that)... This experience was new for both (Paloma and me), but we liked it!

Without making too many spoilers, I will just list the names and links to the communities that were presented in the show...

Sin hacer demasiados spoilers, me limitarΓ© a enumerar los nombres y enlaces a las comunidades que se presentaron en el programa...

  • @yonnathang presented the project HispaPro (https://ecency.com/@hispapro)
  • @angelica7 presented the project Talent Search (https://ecency.com/@talentos)
  • @damarysvibra presented 2 communities: Be Entrepreneur (https://ecency.com/created/hive-140971) and Holos&Lotus (https://ecency.com/created/hive-131951)
  • @manclar shared information about his favorite community, Hive NFTGame Latino (https://ecency.com/created/hive-115120)
  • @karelysk89 presented the community of @boeltermc, SkateHive (https://ecency.com/created/hive-173115)
  • @bulkathos presented the community, Geek Zone (https://ecency.com/created/hive-106817)

The time was flying, and when we reached 1.5 hours it was time to say goodbye... There were other suggestions for presenting in the chat, but I suppose we will have to leave that for the next occasion!

El tiempo volaba, y cuando alcanzamos la hora y media llegΓ³ el momento de despedirse... Hubo otras sugerencias para presentar en el chat, Β‘pero supongo que tendremos que dejarlo para la prΓ³xima ocasiΓ³n!

Don't forget to check out the video! // No se olvide de ver el vΓdeo!

In the end, I would like to thank everyone who took part in the show and made it so great! This time we had on the show: @alberto0607, @alicia2022, @angelica7, @boeltermc, @bulkathos, @damarysvibra, @felixxx, @foxkoit, @frankches, @germanandradeg, @incublus, @karelysk89, @kvinna, @manclar, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @pravesh0, @sacra97, @yonnathang, @emanueledornelas, @rosmiapure, @titovieira, @transtorn0, @duskobgd, @wanderingmoon, and @miguelreinierp2!!

In total, 28 people joined the fun (including myself)! Thanks, everyone!!!Thank you guys and girls! As a sign of appreciation, I will send some LEN tokens to all participants of the live show! I know that I always say that the last show was the best, but it is like that! I can't lie that it was not when it was! πŸ™‚ Also, we beat the record of the number of attendees on the "peak of the show"! In total, 18 people were in the show, but, interestingly, we had almost everyone during the show, so on top, we had 17 people during almost the whole show! The #HHHLive family is growing! It looks like people found the information valuable and had a lot of fun sharing their communities!

The idea for this episode was to give a space to the community owners to present their communities, but also, allow everyone to share their favorite communities! Everyone had an option to do it in voice, or in the chat section that we were following during the show!

Created in Canva.com
This was one of the "easiest" shows for me as I was talking the least... πŸ˜ƒ We had 5 people on the mic and they did a great job sharing their communities! Before diving into the recap of the event, I would like to share with you the topic for the next week as we will try something completely different!

Next week, we have planned to do a bilingual show (Spanish/English) and the topic will be communities again! We didn't have enough time to cover all the communities that we wanted in this show and some of the invited people didn't make it... As the show will be in Spanish too, we will allow Hispanic communities to present themselves! So, if you have a community in Spanish language, next week's show is the right place for you to come and share it with others! If everything goes as planned, @palomap3 will take a leading role, running the interviews, while I will try to translate the highlights to the English listeners in the audience... I hope we will have a lot of fun!!

As usual, I don't want to spoil your listening to the show, so I will share just in short lines who was with us and what was presented... Presenters in voice were:

  • @mipiano shared her Hive Collectors community (https://ecency.com/created/hive-180658) and told us about the topic and stuff around it
  • @melinda010100 was the next one to break the ice! She shared 2 communities, Shadow Hunters (https://ecency.com/created/hive-179017) and Feathered Friends (https://ecency.com/created/hive-106444). Also, she shared very useful information about how Ecency can help your community!
  • The next one was @incublus who shared the Turkish community - Trliste (https://ecency.com/created/hive-138975) in which everyone who writes about Turkey is welcomed! Later on, he shared with us another one, Hive Gaming Community (https://ecency.com/created/hive-140217)!
  • @travoved shared with us his favorite community, Hive Garden (https://ecency.com/created/hive-140635)
  • At the end, @palomap3 came on the mic and shared her favorite, the Photo Essay Community (https://ecency.com/created/hive-14396)

As talking in the show wasn't the only option to present your community, we had a couple of other suggestions in the chat!

  • @mengao presented the community where he belongs, the HiveBR (Brazilian community) (https://ecency.com/created/hive-127515), and also another one that is his favorite, Drone community (https://ecency.com/created/hive-186141)!

As we were running out of time, we had some "fast suggestions" at the end of the show from @travoved and rantree (I think his HIVE username is @gwajnberg)... They share 3 communities, WednesdayWalk community (https://ecency.com/created/hive-155530), Pinmapple community (https://ecency.com/created/hive-163772), and Hive Learners (https://ecency.com/created/hive-153850)...

After the show ended we had a short "after party" as usual, which wasn't recorded... So, if you would like to hear what's happening "after", come to the next show... πŸ˜ƒ

Don't forget to check out the video!

In the end, I would like to thank everyone who took part in the show and made it so great! This time we had on the show: @alberto0607, @duskobgd, @ewkaw, @felixxx, @foxkoit, @incublus, @melinda010100, @mengao, @mipiano, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @quekery, @gwajnberg, @sacra97, @travoved, @willythewhale, and @enraizar!

In total, 18 people joined the fun (including myself)! Thanks, everyone!!!Thank you guys and girls! As a sign of appreciation, I will send some LEN tokens to all participants of the live show! You can pair them with LENM tokens, add liquidity to the diesel pool, and earn rewards! If you want to learn more about the project behind it, check out the @liotes account or visit the Liotes website... Of course, if you are not interested in it, you can sell tokens on the Hive-Engine market...

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (@mipiano, @melinda010100, @incublus, @travoved, and @palomap3)!

As we had the rest of the funds that we got from @felixxx (thanks for the donation!), each of them will receive an additional 3 HBD for coming on the mic!!!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

What a fantastic show we had last Wednesday (2023-11-29)!!! The #HHHLive is forming the shape how I imagined it to be... The everyone's show! We had another big topic this time and the audience was amazing! So many great tips for newbies, so many great suggestions, some great "NOT TO DO IT" tips, and much, much more... If you didn't attend (or you did) and you are a newbie on HIVE, this video is tailored for YOU! Check it out and take notes!

Created in Canva.com
I don't know where to start with the description of the show and to not drop spoilers before you dive into the recordings! All previous shows were great too, but in this one, I felt like a "Moderator" of the show and that makes me happy! That means that even with this show, we are showing by example what HIVE is... It is the place where you come, share your experience, and knowledge, and share value with others... You can do that by coming on voice and telling your story, or you can hang out in the chat during the show and "drop your knowledge" there!

Do you have a question? You are more than welcome to ask as everyone is ready to help you out and respond to your doubts and concerns!

As I don't want to spoil your watching and I don't want to interpret wrongly the words from participants in the show, I will not write too much, but I will say that we were talking about things like:

  • Writing a proper Introduction post is very important!
  • What mistakes you should avoid and if you do them how to "repair the damage"
  • Hive Communities and Discord channels are immense sources of knowledge! Participants share some tips on where you can find help, ask questions, and take off more easily!!
  • Don't forget to engage!
  • Support others to be supported! That's how the Universe works... πŸ˜ƒ
  • and many more great topics and tips...

We had another after party which wasn't recorded... It's like a cherry on top of the cake... But, you can eat the cake only if you are live, in the audience... 🍰
So, if you want exclusive content, you have to come and participate in the live show! πŸ˜ƒ

Don't forget to check out the video!

In the end, I would like to thank everyone who took part in the show and made it so great! This time we had on the show: @achim03, @blind-spot, @foxkoit, @incublus, @melinda010100, @mell79, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @pravesh0, @sacra97, @twinwolf, @ubg and @willythewhale

In total, 14 people joined the fun!

To encourage more people to come on the mic, I have sent an additional 100 Ecency POINTS to people who shared their thoughts in voice with us (@incublus, @ubg, and @pravesh0)!

As we had a humble audience, I have decided to split the funds that we got from @felixxx into 2 parts... So, our speakers in the last show will receive 5 HBD each! (I know that you said that I send them here and there the tokens πŸ˜ƒ, but I will send them to you 3 guys and you split it as you want)

So, we have another 15 HBD for grabs for the next show! Thanks, @felixxx!

Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!

Thank you for your time,

~ph~

After recording this video, I read somewhere a comment about how people are creating a lot of content about HIVE and how that content shouldn't be promoted and curated... I remember that I was seeing a lot of content like that before, but lately, I don't... And if I see it, it is usually some "superficial post" about how HIVE is great and everyone should do it...

I know that the technical side of HIVE is complicated and not everyone has time (or will) to dive deep and explore it, but that doesn't mean that we have to "hide" that information from people who want to know that... And sometimes, it is hard to find specific information about HIVE... Even, as an experienced Hivian, I had problems finding details about HBD creation, inflation, etc...

As there are no "rules to HIVE", it's important to know how it works, and maybe to give some guidelines to people... For example, yesterday I saw a post where the author was complaining about how he is getting less worthy upvotes lately and how he will not reach his goals because of that... That's one of the misconceptions about HIVE rewards... The value that you see under your post is represented in UDS and if HIVE is valued less, that amount will be lower... But, your amount of earned HIVE will stay more-less the SAME!

As a matter of fact, when we are having a "hard time" in crypto, fewer people are creating and your posts can potentially get more rewards than usual! That's why experienced Hivians are always recommended to people to create content in hard times... You accumulate tokens much faster... Not only on HIVE but buying cheap tokens in which you believe for a long term...

That topic, some other thoughts about growth in the bear market, and some views about the FUD around Binance and Coinbase you can find in the video... It's just me walking and vlogging with you...

Thank you for your valuable time,

~ph~

I didn't plan to do a video today, but I watched a great interview with Michael Saylor, went out for a walk, and my mind fully processed the information I got from that video! As I found it very interesting and important, I have decided to share some thoughts about it with you guys...

The interview itself is around 45 min, but the part that I found it interesting is around the 17th minute... Here is a direct link to it...

He was talking about:

  1. Where do you locate your family?
  2. Where do you locate your mind?
  3. Where is your business?
  4. Where is your balance sheet?

After absorbing that information, I have created my point of view about these things and "tweaked" a bit in my way...

Check out the video for more details...

The proper title should be something like...

The "Other" Guy .:. Hump Day ~~Easy~~ Hard (Hive) Talk

Usually, when I have an idea for a post, I have the title for it... This time, I was struggling with the title, and later on, I was struggling with the thumbnail too! But, I'm happy with both and I can understand if you don't see these two things related at all... But, you will after reading this, and especially after watching the video...

The main idea of that thumbnail is... What do you see in that photo? Two guys are arm wrestling... fighting against each other... What did I see when I picked this photo for the thumbnail? I saw two muscle guys arm wrestling and TRAINING their muscles! They are making each other better... Yes, one will probably lose, but it will push him forward to be better next time... It pushes its' limits to train more, to be better...

This video is about that... It is also about HIVE... a lot... About some good things and bad things about it... But, it is also about how you can be better here... How to act, and how to take control over your growth on HIVE, but also in life... Yes, we are small fish here, but this time is different... Blockchain tech is different than the rigged system that we have in "real life"... It has its bad sides, but we have a chance to make it better...

Check out the video for more details...

The weather is getting better and better, so I try to spend as much time as possible out of my home... It is much healthier and I have noticed that I have fewer migraine issues when I take more breaks from my computer... On the other side, it should mean less "work" done, but it's not all black and white... On my walks, usually outside the traffic noise, my brain works much better... I can focus easier, I can re-evaluate certain things, and in the end, I can STOP, take a breath and things come on their own...

In this video, I was talking about my personal experience with one "popular song" (besides being distracted by great surroundings... lol...), and I took probably a much deeper look into it than a usual "listener"... I went a bit deeper into the messages that are served and how we consume them... Do we have to consume all the crap that is served to us? What it does do to our organisms, or in this particular example, to our brains? Does watching reality shows burn your brain cells? How do you feel after? What message do you send to others, to your children by consuming such content?

I have to admit that I do have those "weak moments" in my life... For example, when I had my migraines, I took the pill, lay down on the couch, turn on a TV, and watch some shitty sitcom, just to TURN OFF my brain... Time stops, and sometimes it works... But the feeling after that is the worst... I lost X hours of my life that I had the chance to use in a much better way... Spend with the family, friends, help someone, etc...

Put your conspiracy tinfoil hats on, and play the video...Thank you for your valuable time,

~ph~

PS. At the end of the video, I was climbing uphill and as my physical condition is poor, you will notice me having breathing problems... lol... πŸ˜‚

Sorry if this title confused you as it's not the 4th birthday of this pool, but the 4th Hive Birthday of my personal account! It has passed 4 years already and I have so much fun on this social media network and blockchain! I met so many amazing online friends, and I was lucky to meet some of them in the real life... Some on Hive Fest, some around different countries in Europe, and I have no doubt that I will meet some of you in the years to come!

Created in Canva.com
As I didn't want to create multiple posts, I have created a short video for this anniversary and added it to this WORKERBEE report... I hope that you wouldn't mind that... Check out the video, and you can check our mining stats for the last 7 days below...

Back to the report numbers!

In the last week, we got 2 new members! Warm welcome to @satoshinakam0to and @timmy-turnip! At this moment, we have 90 delegators in the pool! Also, we got some new delegations from the people who are already in the pool... Thanks for your support!

This week, we have mined 136 BEE tokens in total... 16 more than the week before...

This POOL doesn't have fees and you get up to 20% MORE by delegating to it!

What about the bonus tokens?
I came to HIVE through Splinterlands, but one of the first communities where I landed was the CTP community... After a while, I spread my wings to many others, but I remember my first steps here very well, and some dear people helping me on my journey... So, why not distribute some CTP tokens on this day?

There will be distributed 1000 CTP tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!

As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... There will be distributed 136 BEE tokens and 1000 CTP tokens as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 6.888%, and when we added the bonus it went up to 8.034%!

Every week you will get the portion of mined BEE tokens and BONUS rewards!

All payments will be made after publishing this post...If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section!

You can find more about this pool in the initial post here https://peakd.com/hive-119826/@ph1102/workerbee-p-h-ool-let-s-help-each-other

I was reading a post today about Defi and how it's not a "hot topic" anymore, where the author shared his concerns about the future of Defi... While it looks like Defi is dead, as there is not too much talk about it here on HIVE, the reality is the opposite... Also, the issue is that after a long BEAR market, it looks like many things are pushed in the background...

I suppose that another reason for it is that we don't have too many DeFi options here on HIVE, or better said we have only 1 real DEX if we can call it dex at all... It is Tribaldex, where we have diesel pools with liquidity providers and all those DeFi stuff with it... But, we have an interesting "tweak" in diesel pools where you can add rewards to the pool and incentivize people to provide liquidity... I have to say that we have something similar implemented in Splinterlands with rewards paid directly in the game...

Speaking of rewards, the thing, why it looks like DeFi is dead, is because all those yield farming platforms which were distributing highly inflationary tokens as rewards for providing liquidity are "kind of dead"... APRs were crazy high, but many people were "hooked" to them and everyone was buzzing about DeFi in those times...

Of course, that was unsustainable in the long run, and today, we had a much healthier situation in crypto DeFi, with rewards "provided" from trading fees, traders' liquidations, etc... APRs are much more "conservative", but the whole ecosystem is much healthier...

Check out the short video on this topic...

PS. Sorry about the wind... again... :(

I will try to go to the roots... Well, sort of, as I didn't create video blogs, or vlogs when I came to HIVE, but I was pushed by some dear friends to start doing them... In one period of time, I was doing them almost on daily basis, then winter came, bad weather, vacation, and who knows what excuse more... πŸ˜ƒ

Anyways, I like to share my thoughts with you guys, and it looks like some of you appreciated that, so here we are... I will not promise that I will do these a lot, but I will try to share here and there some of my vlogs from my daily walks... If you don't like to listen to my talk, turn off the side and watch behind me the beautiful surroundings, the Spring sun, and who knows what else can appear! In my today's walk, I saw a squirrel on the electricity cable, but unfortunately, the camera wasn't on at that moment...

Having peace of mind while I do my daily walks in a place where there are almost no people at all, just birds chirping and maybe a bit of wind blowing just to mess with my video, is the best moment to gather thoughts and share some positivity with the audience...

The topic for today's video was adding value to the posts... I have the "problem" that I don't want to create a post if I don't have something valuable to share with my readers/viewers... I know that some people like to read just ordinary stuff from regular people, how they spent a day, what they were cooking, etc... But, in my case, I like to share some thoughts, or views, or give some ideas that could help you in your life... Especially if "that something" helped me in my life...

But, when you want to do better every next time, you are getting into the trap that you will reach that "ceiling" in one moment... And it will be "hard to beat" some previous posts... I suppose that's the reason why I'm not creating posts every single day like I was doing a year ago... I raised the bar too high, which could be good, but also it could be bad as it can demotivate me from creating content at all!

Anyways, I talked in this video about some main differences between HIVE and other social media platforms out there...

Of course, everything that I said is my personal views about these things... I'm not saying that they are true, it's just my perspective...

PS. Sorry about the wind in the video...

Thank you for your valuable time,

Wow... That escalated quickly... πŸ˜ƒ I didn't expect myself that will create another vlog in such a short time... I was doing these almost every day a year ago, but lately, not that much... Most of my posts are in written mode, but I couldn't resist sharing the thoughts that I had during my walk today... I suppose that the fantastic weather made me do it as the ideas were just flowing in...

I was watching some comedy YT show where the authors mentioned feudalism and how it transformed into some other societal structure(s)... But, as much as you are searching for the differences between now and then, you will notice a lot of similarities... It's like with crypto cycles... They always look different, but in the end, they are the same as the previous ones...

source: https://jerrymlawson.medium.com/feudalism-then-and-now-bfdd5d016006
Just a short description from Wikipedia:

Feudalism, also known as the feudal system, was the combination of the legal, economic, military, cultural, and political customs that flourished in medieval Europe between the 9th and 15th centuries. Broadly defined, it was a way of structuring society around relationships that were derived from the holding of land in exchange for service or labor.

In the video, I have shared my views about this manner and where we should seek a solution to it... As I wouldn't say that our society is structured well at the moment, especially having almost 99% of people at the bottom of that pyramid! We were (and still are) continuously doing things in the same way as we were doing before, but somehow, every next time, we expect that we will see different results... That has no sense at all... We have to do things differently and try new, better approaches, and maybe then, we can expect changes...

When I came home, I opened Youtube to check some crypto news, but I finished watching one video that was completely "offtopic"... But, was it offtopic? As a matter of fact, it was some kind of continuation of this thought that I had in my head during the day, so I suppose that I have attracted that video to my viewings...

It was a part of the interview with David Icke and you can check it out here if you want... Some people don't like David, so if you are not ready for it, skip the video... :)

Thank you for your valuable time,

Hey, guys... I didn't do this for a long time... I mean, recording a video in my daily walks... But today was nice weather, I hit the road (path), and decided to share with you some of my thoughts... Or better said, to share with you (from my personal experience) how to avoid losing money in crypto...

Do you stake tokens? Do you compound your earnings? Do you accumulate dozens of different tokens? Do you understand what is the purpose (and use case) of all those tokens? Do you follow developments around the tokens? Do you watch the news, live streams, or attend Discord/Telegram chat groups?

It's a lot of things to follow and I could freely say that it's impossible to do all that if you have investments in more than 10-15 "active" tokens! Sometimes it's hard to follow just one, and imagine 20! When the Splinterlands team changed gears to higher ones, I couldn't follow things at all... and that is JUST a game!

Back to the topic... I did a lot of bad investments in the past and I will probably do many others in the future... But, as usual, it is always about numbers, it's always math behind it, and probabilities... All our previous mistakes are recorded somewhere in our minds and sometimes, they are processed... If not, they are just data standing on the shelves without being used...

So, in this video, I'm sharing some of my (and many others) common mistakes that I have done in the past... If you are staking, compounding tokens... This video is for you... While I was recording I had one interesting thought that I would like to share with you, but I didn't do it... Just a small comparison...

Bad investment is like a bad marriage... You are aware of it when it's too late... πŸ˜€

Long time no see on camera! It's time for a bit of talk about the hot topic these days, and probably more days in the future... Inflation is here, and it's here to stay... In my opinion, the damage made by crazy money printing during the last 2 years is too big to be ignored and the consequences will stay for a while...

Yesterday, I had an interesting conversation in the bar (where else? lol...) about inflation, and current situation in the economy, and most important, among ordinary people... The conclusion was that there is still "money on the streets" which directly means that inflation will continue to rise until printed money "disappears"... Prices are going up, cash is being devalued, but everyone waits for the flipping! The moment when most of the people don't have savings as then, the prices have to stop going up... It's a simple offer-demand situation... If there is no demand, prices go down...

The problem is visible on both sides... The industry tries to "protect" itself from inflation by raising the price even more than needed, calculating the losses in the future... and most consumers are trying to survive in this wild world... I know that crypto doesn't look too sexy at this moment, but it is all about the perspective... I still believe that crypto is still the healthiest asset at the moment...

Check out the video for more details and leave a comment with your opinion... This post is not financial advice of any kind...

When markets are down, when I have set up all my Defi investments on "auto-mode", I got more time to do other stuff... :) As I'm playing a couple of blockchain games for some time, I thought that maybe it could be useful to my followers if I share some tips regarding them... The games that I play on a daily basis are Rising Star and Splinterlands...

If I tell you that I like more Rising Star than Splinterlands, you probably wouldn't believe me... lol... But, it's like that as I'm stressing too much when I play SL... Yeah, it's just a game and I shouldn't do that, but it's stronger than me... :)

created in Canva.com

Anyways, back to the Rising Star Game! I'm playing the game for around a year and a half, which means that I'm not one of those that were there from day 1... At the time when the game was launched, I was playing Splinterlands and a couple of other games... Because of that, I have used that lame excuse that I don't want to play because "I have no time for another game"... Of course, that was a lame excuse as I made a decision without even trying the game... When I started to play, I noticed that the game takes a lot less time than Splinterlands, for example...

So, time is a lame excuse... The game can be categorized as an "idle game" which means that you have to make 2-3 clicks and then wait X time for the next clicks... When you find your strategy how to play, your gameplay becomes efficient and you spend even less time...

.:::------------------------------------:::..

I digress... Huh... This will be hard to write a post as I could write about the game for ages as it's way more complex than it looks at the first sight... But, the first thing that you have to acknowledge is that THIS IS A GAME and not an investment... Yes, you can earn some crypto while you are playing it, but it's a game in the first place as you can play the game without investing a single dime! Of course, if you want to progress faster, you can buy certain "tweaks" that can help you, like STARBITS Millionaire NFT, Cold Pizza Slice Energy Boosts, Pizza Boxes, etc... But, you can buy them with your earnings from the game, too... So, no worries...

When the game was launched, it was pretty simple to play it... You had missions, zones, band members, and music lessons... After a while, we got new additions to the game as Record Staking, Festival Missions, Custom Shop, Music Promoter, etc... The game is huge and everyone can pick on what part of the game wants to focus on... It's like in crypto, you CAN'T do them all... It's impossible...

As my main plan was to accumulate as many as possible NFTs, I have kept my focus on that and tried to find the best way to accomplish that plan... I have created my "little strategy" on how to do that... Cards (NFTs) are the core of the game and the final goal is to have a lot of them (if you want to rank better in the game)...

There are numerous ways how you can get cards and it depends on the card "edition" (or type)...

Firstly, you can find most of the cards on the market and buy them directly from there...

Secondly, most of the cards you can "find" inside packs! You can get some packs for free by reaching certain milestones in the game, but if you want to progress in the game you will HAVE TO BUY them... Now, don't be scared that you have to invest thousands of dollars... The best part is that you can buy them with your earnings from the game...

Thirdly, you can get some cards by doing special missions, or doing festival missions... Sometimes you need to "pay" to do the mission, sometimes it's free...

Now, there are other ways too, but I would like to stick to the topic of the post...

.:::------------------------------------:::..

Back to the topic (for the third time... lol...). So, we know that we need cards and we know that we can buy them with STARBITS that we can earn by playing the game... In this video that I have shared at the beginning, I have shared my "strategy" for getting as many as possible tokens per day... At this level, I can afford to keep some of the earnings and exchange them for HIVE, but most of them I use for buying packs! As I said in the video, I'm buying 3 times per week, 12 packs for 100K STARBITS, which means that I get over 100 new cards per week... Maybe it's not that much for some other players, but I'm happy with that...

Now, check out the video and you will find the strategy + I have shared some general tips for playing the game... If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask in the comment section... In this game, there are no enemies, opponents, or such, and that's probably the best part of it! The community is awesome and everyone is here to help each other! Probably because of that, you will find dozens of daily giveaways for Rising Star cards, STARBITS, etc... Speaking of which, don't forget to follow my gaming account @cryptofiloz, where I'm doing RS giveaways 3 times per week!

Thank you for your valuable time,

Lately, or to be more concise the last month or so we had almost every day bad weather, with rain, strong winds, or a combination of both... Luckily, in the part where I live, we didn't have floods, but some other towns close to us did... Whenever the rain would stop, I have tried to go for my daily walk, and for only ONE day, we had clear skies! I went out, and took a short "walk and talk" video... And it didn't go well... lol... If you want to have some laughs, you can check out the video... If you are here only for thoughts about compounding, you can continue reading...

So, what is compounding? According to Wikipedia, this is a definition of compound interest:

Compound interest is the addition of interest to the principal sum of a loan or deposit, or in other words, interest on interest. It is the result of reinvesting interest, rather than paying it out, so that interest in the next period is then earned on the principal sum plus previously accumulated interest.

Created in Canva.com For many people in crypto, it is a dream about making big money! :) But, as always, along with the good sides of compounding, there are some bad sides to doing it...

Firstly, the good side of compounding is that you can earn a lot more by doing it in a certain period of time, than not doing it... Of course, IF you withdraw your principal sum and profits after X days/week/months/years... And that's where most problem fails... It looks so simple, but we have our human nature on the other side that stops us from doing it...

At the moment when we SHOULD cash out, we start dreaming about millions and millions... It's something like when you are gambling and having a lucky streak... And you think it will last forever like that, and you gamble until you lose it all... But, compounding is maybe even worse as you have a feeling that you are having more and more money, which actually, isn't true...

If you are compounding, you have invested your crypto/money on some platform, smart contract, or something third... Those assets aren't in your ownership (not your keys, not your crypto...), but in another place which directly means that you aren't winning (or losing) until you CASH OUT! Many people forget about that...

It's very similar to when people say that they have lost money on crypto when they bought some tokens at a certain price, but they dropped in value... You have lost money in the moment when you have withdrawn (sold) your crypto asset for cheaper than you have bought... If you are HODLing, you still have a chance to WIN at the end...

Back to compounding... I have picked this topic as nowadays, there is more and more Defi project out there and not all of them are valid and honest... Many of them have some juicy rewards at the beginning and it's hard to recognize which one is reliant and trustful... The thing is that even those that are can have nice APRs at the beginning...

Now, if you add to that already juicy APRs the power of compounding, you can get some very interesting numbers... That is probably where our human greed comes to the surface... We compound it all and watch how the number grows... Until we got scammed and lose everything...

But, there is a "half-solution" to the problem of staying safe, but still, enjoying compound interests... When you have a chance, cash out a PART of your profits and compound the rest! In that way, you will get back part of your investment during the riskiest period (and most often the most profitable), but still grow your part of the cake...

You will maybe earn less in the long run, but if something goes wrong, you will not regret being too greedy!

Thank you for your time,

~ph~

Before hitting the record button I wasn't thinking too much about this topic, except that I saw someone mentioning that in the comments... The point was to start the topic about "adapting" to certain things or trying to do them differently, and see where will lead this monologue... Well, as expected, it led us back to cryptocurrencies and to another important topic that's coming to the surface... To accumulate HBD tokens (kind of stable coin on HIVE blockchain) as of juicy 12% APR at the moment, or to accumulate HIVE, or any other cryptocurrency out there?

First things first... Adapting to new technologies is important... Adapting to something negative isn't the smartest move to do... For example, trying to "train" your body to drink more alcohol isn't a smart thing... It can serve you at a certain point in time, but as a long-term thing, I wouldn't advise you to do it... lol... So, back to the REAL topic... The debate was to adopt cryptocurrencies and "regulate" them as any other (traditional) financial assets out there... Is it a good thing, or a bad thing? Of course, regulating crypto would lead to more adoption as not many people are like YOU and me, taking risks in the early stage with crypto... We saw directly how it works when these "big guys" came into Bitcoin in moments when it was "legalized"...

But, on the other side, I wouldn't go that far with adapting crypto to current finances for a very obvious reason... Current fiat money and traditional currencies suck and it's just a matter of time when they will collapse... So, adapting crypto to fiat would be like selling a Lamborghini to buy a 30-year old Golf... You are changing a superior car for an older, rotten, "patched" one... There is no sense in doing that! In some weird way, we have bankers that are still trying to find a solution to "adapt to blockchain" tech, but still, want to show to others that they were right all the way and that we have to keep the "good old centralized" way of doing finances... And believe me, they will find the way... We already have news about "digital" fiat currencies that have 0 blockchain value in them...

During my vlogging, I got into another important topic for all you guys on the HIVE blockchain... You know that we have 2 tokens there, one is HIVE and the other is HBD (Hive Backed Dollars), and with raised APR on HBD, it became very appealing to many as a "crypto for accumulation"... I, have some HBD in savings for "bad days", but my focus is still on staking HIVE for HivePower... Yes, curation rewards for staked HIVE indeed went down a bit, but that's not the only reason for staking it...

One thing everyone should understand and that's that HBD is, in a nutshell, a stable coin, which means that its value will always be around 1 USD... No matter about supply, scarcity, algorithms, etc., it will always float around a dollar... Its main "use case" is to attract "mainstream" people to invest in HIVE as they can be "scared of crypto volatility" (oh boy, another topic for many posts...), so that they can easily create their business model in USD...

On the other side, we have HIVE, which is a completely different beast with many use cases... It is the heart of the HIVE blockchain, it moves it, it enables 0 transaction fees, it's powering up applications created on the blockchain, and it GIVES POWER TO THE PEOPLE... I suppose that the last reason is enough to see which one of two is more important...

Anyways, I was talking about these things a bit more inside the video... So, don't forget to check it out...

Thank you for your valuable time,

I had a short break from doing these "easy talks" as I didn't feel well lately with some weird headaches that don't want to pass... I'm still battling with them but doing much better than a week ago... On the others side, the weather was beautiful today, so I had to escape out for a walk in the woods... There was another reason to do so, but you will find it in the video...

Anyways, all this time being "absent" from the blockchain (engaging less than usual), I had enough time for thinking about some good and bad moves that I did in the past... Just to have a good direction for the future... Also, my huge goal of getting an ORCA rank until the end of the year made me think about my efficiency of accumulating tokens... And not just that, but the PRICE that I should have to pay to be "more efficient"...

All that led me to think about my content in the past, my audience, topics about I was talking/writing... Could I earn more if I create content on different topics? Would I get more upvotes if I create stuff in a certain manner? I mean, do things just to please others to give me an upvote... I suppose that I could and I suppose that it would result in bigger upvotes, and "easier" goal accomplishment... But, what about the price of doing so?

I remember the time when I came to this blockchain and my first posts here... I have done exactly what 90% of the newbies do... Checking posts from others, and trying to "copy" the way of writing (topic, niche) to get the same juicy results as those more elder members... I would take some short news about crypto, write around it and share it with others... The idea was to find bombastic titles and try to get attention from big whales... I have sold myself for upvotes...

After some time and help from other, more experienced members, I have changed my content creation habits... I got a weird idea that I CAN be MYSELF, have fun, and still earn something without dancing for whales... The idea was to create a personal network, or you can call it a community, of people who are on a similar level as me, engage with them, support each other, and finally, grow together... We don't need whale accounts to upvote us, we will be whales ourselves one day!

Now, 2-3 years after that, I'm still not a whale, but I am surrounded by friends who are dolphins and orcas here on HIVE! We are having fun, inspiring and motivating others, creating bonds, and growing together... Is there a better way of doing that?

Don't forget to check out the video and enjoy the walk...

Thank you for your valuable time,

I have no idea what happened this morning, or better said in the last couple of days, but I had a lot of anger inside me, and I had to release it out... So, I have created this rant video... lol... Well, I have some ideas why that happened, but not sure exactly about it... Firstly, we have had this huge FUD around crypto lately and I have a lot of experience with that... I'm not in this "crypto space" for a short time, as I can call myself a veteran with my 5+ years in crypto... But, it's never easy to digest this kind of situation and nobody is immune to it... Yes, it's easier when you KNOW that it will pass eventually, but it's hard to look at all that blood on the markets...

Speaking of which... I have commented on a post by @chekohler, where I have reminded myself (and others) that despite all the FUD, nothing has changed about Bitcoin! The blockchain work flawlessly, it's not hacked, the total supply is the same as before, etc... So, all in order...

So, WTF is happening then? Well, it's happening the same shit as always... The same pattern was viewed dozens of times in the past... You see, we always have negative and positive news about crypto in the media... Of course, negative news is always louder as that news is selling the news, and protecting "those who want to keep the status quo... The same thing happens now... Those in power are spreading FUD on the left and right, and people are falling to that as naive 4-year-old children...

I can understand "those in charge" and those who control the media and want to keep control over the money (and people), but sometimes, I'm getting frustrated seeing people ALLOWING them to do that... Yes, it's a game of power... It's like in physics when we learned about energy... You can't destroy the energy, you can just change its shape, and forward it to another... The same goes with power... Those in charge are having power as someone else GAVE them the power... It's time to get OUR power back, and we have a perfect tool for that in blockchain technology... But, most of the people don't see that... yet...

So, I have ranted about certain stereotypes in our society, a weird focus that we have in our lives, and giving a huge meaning to some stupid shit... Putting in king's chair some product, adore and worship some company, and shit over our colleagues and friends because of that... Pretending that we are something else, just to SELL the "story", to FIT in the "sick society", and it is sick... We need a cure and we can find the cure only if we gain back our POWER...

We have to pull out that stick from our asses, find our spine, fight for OUR life, for our freedom, and take back our power... Maybe we have given our power willingly, but I doubt that we can get it back without getting our hands dirty...

Buckle your seatbelt, Dorothy...

Thank you for your valuable time,

Somewhere at the beginning of this big mess when they have been told that we are "flattening the curve" and that we got back to normal in 2 weeks, I read somewhere a suggestion that maybe we shouldn't make big decisions during this period... That was even more "bolded" in days when we were in complete lockdown, inside our homes for almost 2 months (speaking from my experience in Spain)... In that time, some couples (and families) have spent more time together than in their whole life before! It's not that you don't love your spouse or children, it's just too many people in sometimes small space... Those were some of the first psychological issues that have arisen, all the rest came after that, and who knows what's next?

Seeing my friends in heavy depression, broken marriages, I have to admit that I have begun to doubt my sanity too! Especially in the moments when I would turn on the TV and listen to the news... That's something that irritates me the most as what I see in my surroundings is diagonally different from what I (and all of you) can hear on the TV! In those moments, you have to ask yourself the same question that I'm asking myself on daily basis... Am I crazy, or do I live in some parallel universe where things aren't like "they" say??? Do I live in reality, or the reality is inside the TV box?

In those moments, I usually decide to go outside for a walk and reconnect with nature... That's the first step toward reality... But, this time, I went for a walk on the streets of my town... To be more exact, I had to go to my local bank to pay some bills on the ATM... There are 2 ATMs, one didn't work at all, and on the second one, I couldn't pay my bills as that option was disabled... lol... Fantastic! Going INSIDE the bank is impossible as they don't accept cash payments at certain hours... More exactly, they work with clients 3-4 hours per day! What they are doing the rest of the time? Counting money? lol... And we thought that computers will help them... lol...

Anyways, I continued my walk on the main street of the town... The thing that I have noticed very fast is that almost every THIRD business premise is CLOSED and for RENT or SALE! That wasn't like that 2-3 years ago! I remember something similar 10-15 years ago when we had the last economic crisis, but even then, business premises on the main street were occupied and working... Now, it's not the case...

So, I have gone a bit deeper into that... I have remembered what kind of businesses were in the main street and I have tried to break down which one has disappeared... Firstly, small grocery shops have vanished! From 3-4 that were, ZERO are left... Along with them, small boutiques that were selling clothes or shoes are also disappeared... Some small repair shops, too... The ones that have stayed are ALL the banks and a couple of small bars that are probably also the owners of the business premises...

As I live in a tourist area, we had a lot of small, family restaurants all around the town... A lot of them are closed, and the rest have been rented out to someone else... Very common thing is that they are rented by Chinese, Indian, or Nepali folks... They are hard-working people that work almost 24/7 (not saying that others aren't hard-working) without taking a single day free! With low food prices, they barely can pay for their food and rent... They are our "last stand"!

Btw. did you notice the irony about the working hours? Banks are working 3-4 hours per day, charge commissions for literally NOTHING, and ordinary folks are working more hours per day just to survive! Now some wise guys can say why don't work smarter, but that's another topic...

So, in the end, I would like to ask you some questions... Am I crazy or something smells very fishy? Do I have a wrong perception of what is coming our way soon? Is this normal that so many businesses close and nobody see a problem with that?

Do you know what FUD means? According to Wikipedia, it's shortened for Fear, uncertainty, and doubt and believe it or not, it wasn't discovered by crypto maniacs... :) But, it got very popular in bear market times when prices are going down, and mainstream narrative is getting very negative...

Fear, uncertainty, and doubt (often shortened to FUD) is a propaganda tactic used in sales, marketing, public relations, politics, polling, and cults. FUD is generally a strategy to influence perception by disseminating negative and dubious or false information and a manifestation of the appeal to fear.

If you have checked the link, you have probably seen that there is nothing positive about FUD and it always has some "secret message" that will push the majority to do something that they wouldn't do without it... It's usually creating HUGE news from something almost irrelevant, just to provoke certain actions...

Lately, we can notice a lot of FUD not only in the cryptocurrency world but also in other aspects of life... To be honest, if you turn on the news, the only thing that you will see is spreading FUD all over the place as FEAR is the strongest emotion that can make you do some unexpected things that you would NEVER do...

If we look back to crypto and try to be objective about current events, you will notice a lot of FUD which is visible by a state of panic among people... Completely irrational things, like selling some 2-3 year holdings of BTC, ETH, or HIVE because of 10-20% price dump?! It sounds big in some traditional (stocks/banking) aspects, but in crypto, that's nothing... We have seen drops of MAJOR cryptocurrencies in almost 90% and this looks like child play for experienced users...

Also, one of the biggest problems is short-term thinking that most people have... They see a 15-minute chart full of red candles and a panic attack kicks in... Always, always, zoom out those charts and see how irrelevant is your fear... I was watching how some people from my close surroundings react in the last few days and I'm very disappointed... But, I can understand that FUD kicks directly in your emotions and people don't think clearly... It's very hard to "distance yourself" from feelings...

But, selling your long-term holdings and trying to "save" your assets by buying new shiny things isn't a solution... Not even a short-term solution... In this video, I have tried to "explain" these things to myself (and others) why it's not smart to do it... Even if you are right that some "bad market conditions are coming"...

Check out the video for more details...

I will keep the same ending as in the past post:

This is not financial advice, this is just my view and my preparation for the upcoming bear market... Not saying that it is here, or that it will come in a week or two...

Thank you for your valuable time,

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hive, LBRY... There are no tokens/cryptocurrencies that are going up in value forever... All of them are going up, going down, or just keeping the value for some time, without an exception... Sometimes, they are doing that in cycles that we call BULL or BEAR markets... In a bull market, the prices of most of the assets are going up, and in a bear market it does the opposite, values are going down... In recent history (3-4 years) we have experienced both of them and not just once... In a bull market, it's nice to see our portfolios exploding and going up, but in those moments, we should prepare ourselves for the "bad days", or bear market that has to come eventually...

Back in 2017, when I came into this cryptocurrency world we were in the heavy bull market... I was mining Ethereum back then and I have bought 2-3 graphic cards to start with it... After just 2-3 months, I have earned enough to double the number of cards, and after that to triple... It was nice to ride the wave and enjoy the profits... But, I didn't think that that has to come to its end one day... And, of course, that happened and we had one year of bear markets when everything went down... Yes, I was still accumulating ETH during 2018, but it wasn't enough to live from that profit, and I didn't want to sell ETH for the cheap price...

Long story short, I wasn't prepared for the bear market at all, as I didn't think that it can happen! And definitely, I didn't think that it can last over a year... Then, something similar happened in the second part of 2019 and that was the time when I hit rock bottom... I remember those moments as I didn't know what to do, where to find money to support my family, and I was very close to quitting crypto... Luckily, that didn't happen, I have found the strength to push through and I have accumulated a lot of cryptos exactly in those moments...

This year, I have decided to take some measures to prevent that uncertainty, that temptation of thinking about quitting... So, 2-3 months ago (or even more) I have started thinking "what about later?"... What will I do when the bear market comes? I know that it's the best moment to accumulate crypto, but I would like to live from it in those moments, not just to wait for "the better days"...

So, I made a shortlist of "things to do" that could help me to get through this period... In the video, you can find more details about it and I will just name them shortly here in the description... So, when the bear market hits you should...

  1. Continue with content creation on whatever platform you are using... Yes, rewards will not be so juicy like they were when HIVE was over $3, or LBRR was over 20c, but you will still earn a similar amount of tokens... They will earn less in USD, but 1 HIVE is still 1 HIVE... Don't forget that!
  2. Poke around De-Fi platforms out there... There are many solutions and we have one that is coming from the LEOFinance team that is called CUBDefi... Take that as a starting point and research others down the pipe...
  3. NFTs and #Play2Earn gaming are the future... And the future is already here... Closer than you think... Check out Splinterlands where you can play and collect different assets in the game... Those assets have value and some of them can earn you money passively... Every additional income during the bear market is welcomed and those assets can earn you that... When we come back to normal, you will still have those assets!

Check out the video for more details... This is not financial advice, this is just my view and my preparation for the upcoming bear market... Not saying that it is here, or that it will come in a week or two... I'm just doing my preparation on time...

It's the middle of the week and it's time for relaxed vlogging about current stuff in crypto, or about the perception of the world from my point of view... This time, the second one was the main topic as I got inspired by watching people during my walk...

There are many (conspiracy) theories, which probably aren't just that, about the Great Reset that people in charge would try to execute in the very near future... Whatever happens, to that happens, we (people) have to allow it... And most of the time people are doing that willingly, but that's a whole different story which I don't want to start right now...

In this video, I was talking about my point of view on the way we are living our lives... What is really important? Is just the economy money-driven, or whole our lives are money-driven? Are we doing all this bad stuff to ourselves without even noticing?

After recording the video, I was thinking about things that we have invented to HELP us... Are they really helping us? Yes, they are making our lives easier, and we can do certain things faster, not always better... But, is it important to do it faster? Is it worth losing your skills? Doing things easier doesn't mean that it is the right choice in the long run...

If you have 7-8 minutes of your free time, check out the video and let me know your opinion about it...

Thank you for your valuable time,

I have planned for today to create a post about "My Hive Story", but I have watched a bit of disturbing video on a YT where a guy has literally broken under the pressure from crypto (but probably some other stuff too)... After just a couple of minutes, I had a short chat with one good friend who has just started with GPU mining and crypto in general... Between his lines, I have recognized that he is under stress and not "in the right place"... The Universe was pointing out that there is a more important topic to talk about today, so I have changed my plan and created this video (and post) sharing my experience when I had my "bad days" and how I have "survived" them... Maybe it will help someone...

At this point, you are probably aware that this post isn't about your favorite TV show and that the title is actually connected with the current moment in crypto, and with more similar things that life brings... The biggest difference between stock markets and crypto is in PEOPLE who are the participants... On the one side, you have professional traders (or they should be) and on the other side you have ordinary, everyday people involved in the markets... Professional traders are mostly trained to do their WORK without emotions as that's their JOB... An everyday guy does crypto from a hobby and isn't trained to work in a high-stress environment and it can't "disable emotions"...

That's the moment when people snap... When the pressure is too big to be controlled and everything looks like it will crumble and disappear... For those who are a bit longer in crypto (more than 2-3 years), things that are happening aren't that "doomed"... We have seen much worse things happening in the past, but some of us have forgotten them... That's why we have to stop and do that corny phrase... Stop freak out and zoom out... Just like a comparison, if we take a look at the Bitcoin price we will notice that the price is going down for the last 30 days... After hitting the peak of 67K, it went down to 47-48K where it is in the moment of writing these lines... So, the price dropped by around 30% and that's not a good thing... But... We can't forget that Bitcoin did the same just 2 months before, but in the opposite direction, going from 40K to 67K...

Also, I want to underline that the drop that the 2018 bear market lasted for a WHOLE year and the price went from 19K to 3K, which is a drop in value of almost 85%!!! So, if you survived that, these 30% is nothing for you... It can be down more, but still, we shouldn't freak out especially if we zoom out even more, and check the global economy, outside the crypto... We are doing great there?

I understand that it's not easy to see how your crypto portfolio is valued less and less USD... I have my bad days too and I'm not immune to everything that I have said in the video or written, but one thing is for sure... Crypto is here, it's a choice that we didn't have, and it's here to stay... We are here for the long term and these daily oscillations mean nothing in the big picture...

Just a final question... Even with this price drop in crypto, do you see some better assets that will help you in preserving the value of your wealth? Maybe exchange your crypto to FIAT and watch how it's depreciated by infinite money printing that's happening... Or maybe to buy a car and see how it losses 50% of its value in a year or two... Or maybe the real estate market which is at the edge of the next bubble collapse (my personal opinion)?

Check out the video for more different views...

Thank you for your valuable time,

Like I said in the Hump Day Easy Talk post, I had a lot of time to think about things in crypto while I was away from the computer... Also, when I come back I saw a very "disturbing" thing on one of the posts out on Hive that made me think how people sometimes look at things in a very, very short-term... And if you do that, you almost always miss the "big picture"...

So, there was a guy who has created a giveaway post (not me... lol...) where he was giving tokens for free, but the participants should leave the comment with an answer to a question, or just say that they are in... I have forgotten what was exactly, but nothing special, nothing "hard to do"... The thing that brought my attention was that the post had only 3 upvotes at the moment I looked... Not a big deal, you would say... Maybe later more people upvoted... But, there was another more important (and disturbing) thing... The post had 5-6 comments or better said participants in the giveaway... So, people have joined the giveaway by entering comments to get something for free, but they didn't even appreciate and upvote the post?!?!

It doesn't matter if your upvote is 1 cent or less... The important thing is to appreciate the person who is giving you something for free... Those tokens are belongings of that person... It doesn't have to do that, but it's doing it! So, why the heck wouldn't you upvote the post with 1 click that doesn't cost you ANYTHING?! The easiest way to earn followers and friends here is to appreciate them and you can do it with upvoting FOR FREE... It will pay off in a long term, believe me! If you put all your upvoting on automatic and don't care about the people that you REALLY INTERACT with, that will not help you in growth in the community...

The most important thing is always to sort out your priorities... It's not always the case that your main priority brings the most money in the short term... It's quite the opposite... Your top priority should bring you the most in the long run... You will not see the fruits tomorrow, but you will definitely see them in a month, year...

The same thing goes for your priorities regarding coins and tokens in crypto... Don't collect shitcoins and dump all your valuable coins just because some shitcoin is pumping at the moment... Don't sell your miner token and buy the "mined tokens"... Don't sell your mining rigs and but tokens that you can mine for cheaper... Create a list with pros and cons and try to understand what token is your HEN, and what token is a golden egg...

Check out the video for more stuff about these things...

Thank you for your valuable time,

~ph~

Long time, no see... After almost 3 weeks I'm back on camera with this "Easy Talk" video series where I vlog about different topics... I was sick for around 2 weeks, so I didn't go outside from my home at all, which means that I couldn't do these "walk and talk" videos... Also, wintertime here doesn't mean cold, but it means a lot of wind which is my main enemy when I try to record videos outside... But, enough excuses, I'm here, you are here, and that's the most important thing...

Being sick sucks big time, but very often, that's a sign from our body that we should slow down... And, not just that, but also we got some time to self-reflect, where we are, and why we are there... I wasn't able to do any work on my computer during these 2 weeks, but my brain had time to work and think about different stuff... When I got better, one of the main changes that I have implemented is to do more breaks between work/tasks... Until now, it worked well... I had fewer headaches, fewer pills, and more productive days...

Another important thing that happened in the last 2-3 weeks is these big turbulences in crypto markets... A lot of things that have happened have nothing to do with reality or any common sense... Bitcoin going down, Hive going up (it's not that I complain... lol), and of course hundreds of speculations why those things have happened... Unfortunately, while I was in bed, I was watching a lot of television and that's more unhealthy than being really sick... But, it's good training as it's incredible what kind of stuff you can hear there... lol... Every time I have an impression that there are 2 worlds that we are living... One is what we see on TV, and the other one is what we can feel on our skin... and they are completely opposite... Like WTF?

I think that today we got this statement from JP Morgan:

"Our view is that 2022 will be the year of a full global recovery, and end of the global pandemic and a return to normal conditions we had prior to the Covid-19 outbreak..."

After seeing that, I would say... "Run to the woods" :)

Check out the video for more easy talk...

You probably know that I'm one of the co-owners of the @Liotes project along with @achim03 and we are trying to create there different sub-projects that can help others in their growth... That can be financial growth, but also, mental growth, or personal growth... One of my favorite sub-projects is definitely the @Ourpick where every workday, we are searching for quality content on different tribes here on HIVE and pick the best ones... When we have them, we create a "reading suggestion post" where others can check them too!

Today, it was another day when we did it and you can check the post here... The best thing about this is sincere comments that we receive in the comment section from picked authors, but also, from readers that have found useful information among "our picks"! It's amazing how things are changing when you show appreciation for other's work by commenting on their's post, and promoting it on your own which is exactly what we are doing here... Authors are encouraged to continue with content creation as they are aware that others are READING their content and their work isn't in vain... And you know how hard it is when you come on some social network for the first time and receive ONE (or ZERO upvotes/comments) on your posts...

On the other side, this time, we have received a nice comment/appreciation from @nathanmars for doing these "collection posts"... It was just a short comment, but it means a lot for us as we also like to be appreciated for our work... Who doesn't like that?

So, go out, find posts that you are interested in, engage with the author by leaving the comment, and show your appreciation if that helped you if you learned something new... Let's make a difference... That's the ONLY way to make this world a better place...

Thank you for your valuable time,

In the beginning, I would like to apologize for the video quality... It's wintertime here in Europe, days are shorter, and I didn't have enough time to go outside before dark to record my traditional Hump Day Easy Talk, so I did it by night... For most of the video you will see a black screen as the street lights weren't good enough, but, what's important is the message and not my face... :)

I remember the time when the movie The Matrix came out... It was back in 1999, I was studying at the university in those moments, and I have downloaded the movie from some torrent website (bad me... lol...)... I remember that I had to watch the movie 2-3 times to get it "completely", or I was just thinking that I got it at that time... I mean, I understood the story and everything, but I probably didn't get how deep is it, and how one day I will live inside the Matrix, too! At those moments it was a sci-fi movie, but at this moment, it looks like a documentary...

Why am I talking about it at this moment? Well, I got triggered by many things in my surroundings, but mostly by people from my close environment... When I see them jumping from one thing to another, exactly how the Matrix is telling them... There are no surprises, there are no unknown moves, everything is so well planned that people don't have a choice to do things differently... There is only ONE WAY and that way is created by someone else... You just have to follow it...

There is nothing wrong to be a follower... Indeed, we all have the choice to be one of the followers or one of the leaders... Again, if you remember the movie, Cypher couldn't live the truth anymore, so he betrayed his friends just to go back into the fake world... He knows that it's fake, but it's a sweet lie worth living in it... by YOUR choice... It was HIS CHOICE... That's another great analogy with the Bible, where the Devil is offering all the "wealth" of the world to Jesus, just to have him on his side... On the side of lies, betrayal, fake values...

You can go deeper into the message, but you can also go to the surface and see with your own eyes how fake is our world... Turn your TV and try to THINK about the words that you hear... Try to process the information on YOUR OWN... Don't just consume directly what is said on the TV... Maybe there is a hidden message in that news? What's the point of that news? How do the majority of the people REACT on that news? Is there a chance that that was the POINT of that news... to provoke exactly that reaction...

Now, you are labeling me with the "conspiracy theorist sticker", but I would say that you are close (if you aren't already) to be the same... We are blind to see 99% of things that are happening because we THINK that they aren't connected with us... that we are "spared" of that news... ONLY when it directly AFFECTS on us, then we start to think (or not)...

I will give you just one obvious example... If you are reading these lines you are probably involved in crypto as I have published this on the blockchain... You know the current state of the crypto... It's accepted in most of the countries (not regulated in many), many people are using them, saving in crypto, and many companies are invested in crypto... So, we can say that crypto is "legal" and accepted...

Now, go back just 4-5 years back in time when big companies and rich people weren't in crypto... If you were using Bitcoin, you were labeled as a criminal... If you turned on a TV you would hear dozens of times that cryptocurrency was used for paying drugs, or for paying weapons, or for funding terrorist organizations... We, crypto miners, in that time were accused of doing an illegal thing if you were mining crypto...

So, we have the same ASSET in a different timeframe... What has changed? Bitcoin is still Bitcoin... Miners are still miners... The only thing that has changed is narrative... TV is telling you the truth? When? Back then, or now, or...

Turn off your TV and turn on your brain... and... Don't just go with the flow... BE the FLOW

Thank you for your valuable time,

~ph~

Today, I have read a post where the author was talking about his friend who has come back to HIVE after a year and a half break... How things have changed and how he will need time to catch up with all good things that have been built in blockchain space... If you were here back then and you roll out the movie back, you will see how much this blockchain evolved...

The same goes for decentralized finance (better known as Defi) projects... They started to get traction in 2020 and immediately got the name "Wild West" of crypto, for many different projects experimenting with traditional financial products implemented on blockchain technology... It was LAST year, and it looks like DeFi is here for ages!

My first tryout with DeFi was thanks to Leofinance and their "excursion" outside the HIVE ecosystem, creating a wLEO token on Uniswap... I have jumped there on day first and provided liquidity in wLEO-ETH pair... Now, when I'm writing this, I remembered that I had another try before that... It was on the Compound network where I was playing with my BAT earnings, but that doesn't count...

The second DeFi project was CUBDefi which was launched almost in the exact time as @achim03 and mine's @Liotes adventure... As I was too busy around our project I didn't have enough time to explore and research deeper into CUBDefi... That was probably one of the biggest mistakes that I have made as it is an awesome idea, developed by a great team, with enormous potential...

I have decided that I will not permit myself the same mistake for the third time... After the LEOFinance team announced that they will launch a new (extended) DeFi project on the Polygon network, I have decided to take some time to research everything BEFORE the launch and to be prepare on time! As I have missed that kind of dedication the first 2 times, I have needed almost 3 full days of investigation and learning to get it... And, I still do not get it all... lol...

The thing that I get is that there was an "evolution curve" between the "Wild West" of crypto and DeFi today that is much safer, and much more secure than the first versions... If Polycubs delivers what they have on the paper at the moment, we will have a modern DeFi platform where the basic token will be backup up with real assets!

It has already passed a whole week from the last Hump Day vlog, and from one side, it looks like it was in a blink of an eye, and from another side, it looks that it last the whole eternity... Why that long? Usually, if we are having fun times passes by so fast and we would like those moments to last forever, but what happens is the opposite... Time flies so fast... On the other side, when things go wrong and we want them to pass fast, to not suffer and live in those moments for a long time... Then, it happens the opposite... Seconds look like hours...

I didn't have a good week behind me... There was more than one problem, and usually, as the "elders" were saying, the trouble comes in threes... It never comes alone... On the other side, even bad luck has its end and reverses at a certain time... I was expecting that to happen earlier, but it came later... Anyway, better ever than never... So, I'm getting out from this heavy limbo and those are good news...

Probably because of all that, the Universe sends some awesome people and posts in my way... Right when I need them the most... Today, while I was searching for some great posts for the @Ourpick, I bumped up on a fantastic post named My Best Moments On Hive - All Part Of My Success Story, by @merit.ahama where she wrote about her success story... I liked the post a lot and it inspired me to create this vlog (which is more my ramblings without a lot of sense... :) ), but it also helped me a lot in reminding me about what is really important... It's good to have people like Merit around to remind us about that...

While I'm doing a manual curation for the @Ourpick subproject by @Liotes, I have a chance to explore a different topic and in some way, measure the "pulse" of the Hive community... Especially because I'm searching for good, quality posts in different tribes with different niches... So, it's kind of checking those specific communities too... I'm doing it for ProofOfBrain and LeoFinance tribes, and occasionally for CTPTalk, MusicForLife, and 1UP... Many different tribes, many different leaders, and many different people...

Doing that today for at Leofinance.io I have bumped up at one, probably click-bait title, and I have opened the post... You can find it here https://leofinance.io/@futurethinker/why-hive-is-failing... Firstly, I was thinking that it will be one of those ironic posts where the author would list all the good things showing them in a "bad manner", but I was wrong...

Secondly, when I saw that this goes for serious, I have decided to give it a shot and I read the post more than once... To be honest, I was thinking to pick it for the @Ourpick in one moment, but I didn't find any valid point that would be worthy of sharing... I find myself open to critiques and I like to know the pros and cons of everything, so I thought that maybe I don't know some of the cons of Hive...

Anyways, the long story short, the post was kind of what I have expected... It is like an ironic post, with a difference that, from the author's view, that was the truth and not the irony... Instead of commenting on the post, I have decided to create a vlog about it and share why I disagree with things said in that post...
