The gospels are a form of ancient biography. They help us understand the person and work of Jesus Christ. Unlike other biographical books, the Bible is the living and active Word of God (Hebrews 4:12). The scriptures have a transforming power in the life of a believer. This conversation introduces the gospels' genre and encourages listeners to recognize the inspired authors' unified purpose in writing. We believe reading through the gospels will grow your affection for Jesus.
