Voices of Special Education is a podcast and newsletter made by the Special Education team at Edmentum. We are using this podcast to shed light on the voices of Special Education at Edmentum and in our communities around us.
This episode covers the innovations in career opportunities and supports for people with chronic illness, mental illness, and disability. In this episode CEO Hannah Olson shares how her two companies (Chronically Capable and Disclo) support professionals as they try to find their voice in the workplace. This episode is important for Special Educators because we are often asked, “What happens to our students who receive Special Education services when they get out of school and enter the real world?”.
We wanted to find some solutions to that question. We ended up discovering Chronically Capable and Disclo. They are great resources for many of our former students. We are excited for you to learn how our amazing students can use these services to become successful thriving adults.
