First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage ... // For Better or For Best pt. 3 // Pastor Adam Haugen
When Saul met Jesus, it transformed Paul’s life. His mission changed and began spreading the message of Jesus to everyone. His message to the Romans was unity under Christ. No matter Jew or Gentile, Jesus is for all and that message applies today.

ABOUT THIS MESSAGE
Sometimes, we’re facing battles that no one else can see. Maybe it’s trying to move forward after loss or uneasiness about the future. What do we do when we don’t understand what we’re feeling and hope seems far away?
Pruning one’s faith can be anything but easy. Questions arise, idols collapse, dilemmas emerge, and refinement is often a long journey. But the more you investigate God’s love, the more you can trust in His grace — especially through life’s toughest topics.

A better vantage point give us a better vision. But better vantage points usually meas we need a higher perspective. Therefore, to have a better vision for what God is doing in our lives, we need to climb further up the Mountain of God which we do by learning to see our experiences through God’s perspective.

In this message, Pastor Adam Haugen challenges us with some powerful truths when it comes to how we handle pain and difficult situations in our past. Oftentimes, what we walk through creates definitive decisions that affect our daily lives in the present. Those decisions can then create barriers to actual freedom, healing, and growth! But what happens when we decide to invite God into those areas of our lives?
Sometimes, it’s hard to obey. You know what’s right, but in the moment, it can be tough to choose obedience to God. How can you learn to make choices that honor God even when it’s hard? In this message, we’ll learn how one moment of obedience can change our lives.

Advent is an opportunity to prepare our hearts for the celebration of Jesus’ birth. It’s a time of remembrance for all God has done, and anticipation for all He is going to do.
When it comes to our relationship with God, it is easy for us to be focused on only one aspect of his character—or who we think that He “should” be, that we miss who he really is or what he’s doing.
Through our past experiences, many of us can have a misrepresentation of who God is.
The reality is that we need to step back to understand the fullness of God’s character. In a culture that is so quick to cancel people based on one act or one aspect of their character, we need to be people who are willing to step back—and pause—and experience God in a bigger way.
Missions in not simply part of the church, it is the point of the church. To spread God's Good News around the world.
Come hear an inspiring message of the importance of missions from vice president of FeedOne with Convoy of Hope, Dr. Solomon Wang. Today, more than 100 million people who are impoverished, hungry and hurting have been served throughout the world by this ministry. Their mission is about impacting lives, one person at a time, and to fight hunger and poverty with nutritious food and opportunities for children in need.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Wang and his wife, Lori, have spent 5 years in the U.S. in pastoral ministry and 30 years in overseas service doing education, consultancy, motivational training, and seminars. Solomon loves to travel, has visited 135 nations, and also had the privilege of praying, speaking, and reading the Bible across seven continents! He and his wife Lori have three grown children: Julia (married to Ryan Blake), Jonathon, and Jessica.

Our faith is one generation away from extinction if we do not share it with those who follow behind us. The future of our faith is found in our children and all of us have a part to play. What are we doing to build a strong foundation for the next generation?
For many of us, in this movie called “Life," we tend to think that we are star of our own movie. If so, how is that working out for you?
If you’ve ever felt that the path of your life is anything but predictable, take heart. You're not alone. Every journey has its detours, and they just might shape your destiny.

Jesus felt sadness—and he feels the sadness so many of us are feeling in the world right now. In this message, you’ll hear three ways you can experience joy again with Jesus, and how Jesus responds to depression.
Jesus got angry. We can learn a lot when we understand why He did—and what He chose to do when He felt strong anger. Join Pastor Adam Haugen to see why, when we channel our emotions the right way, we can start to unite a divided world.
You've heard it said that "hindsight is 20/20", right? If we could go back in time - to the missteps, mistakes, habits we started - what would we have done differently? In this message, Pastor Adam Haugen shares caution signs to pay attention to if we're going to show up in the world as our best selves this year. It's time to "think about" before we "feel about."
Jesus Himself needed anxiety relief. And when He despaired, He gave us the blueprint for how to deal with worry, stress, and fear. If you need anxiety relief, join Pastor Adam Haugen and discover the three things Jesus leads us to do to find peace in our hearts and align the feelings we experience with a faith that never fails.
In this message, Pastor Adam Haugen offers a simple reminder to anyone feeling unsettled, depressed, anxious, or hopeless: God sees you. Cast your hopes, your cares, and your feelings on Him. He cares for you.
This Easter season, consider Jesus.
Consider his claims, consider what other people said that He did, and what He actually did. Just look at Him and see what happens.
Have you ever had things happen, and immediately after you thought, “Well that’s not what I expected.”
The phrase “when pigs fly” is not used all too often, but relate it to something that is improbable or simply impossible. Where the difficulty and obstacles are too great. It would take a miracle.
We are in a Sunday series entitled ONE More. How God is in the business of reaching people in the millions and billions, but how he is also about connecting with the individual—the one.
Regardless of your situation or moments where you feel life is impossible, he is there, wanting to connect with the one. To do the miraculous in you, but that’s not enough, he wants to do it through you.
When you bring someone with you, you are available for God to work through you. What God did in you, isn’t just for you, but to share with those around you. To help people get out of their sin, and out of their pain, and out of their loneliness and brokenness.
Whether you’ve been serving the Lord 8 days or 8 decades, our desire at Glad Tidings is that we can help you become a well-rounded, full-circle disciple of Jesus. What does that mean? Wherever you are, God wants you to KEEP GROWING.
Mark 4:16-20 GW Other people are like seeds that were planted on rocky ground. Whenever they hear the word, they accept it at once with joy. 17 But they don’t develop any roots. They last for a short time. When suffering or persecution comes along because of the word, they immediately fall from faith. 18 Other people are like seeds planted among thorn bushes. They hear the word, 19 but the worries of life, the deceitful pleasures of riches, and the desires for other things take over. They choke the word so that it can’t produce anything. 20 Others are like seeds planted on good ground. They hear the word, accept it, and produce crops—thirty, sixty, or one hundred times as much as was planted.
Everything that God does, starts with prayer. Every miracle, every changed life, everything that God does, every reset, begins with prayer. Many times, we don’t realize the power of prayer.
Frank Dimazzio is a pastor, a Bible college president, has his doctorate, author of 34 books and he talks about this word in Scripture. The word that he mentions from Scripture is FAVOR. Favor consists of 5 Greek words and 8 Hebrew words, here is the definition: Aligning our life with God’s blessing, grace and favor that positions us for increased influence, supernatural turnarounds, limitations broken, dreams awakened, missed opportunities redeemed, and wide open new doors of divine possibilities.
In this series we are going to look at three different hymns as we lead up to Christmas. The lyrics of these hymns reveal some inspiring truths from Scripture that can help us navigate this complex time of year.
Occasionally the impossible in our lives is from God, but more often, it is the result of living in a broken world or it is the result of our own poor choices. When we find ourselves in the impossible, it’s not the time to ask “Why?But, it’s the moment to ask “What?” “What now, God?” How can I move forward?”
QUESTION: How can we parent toward relational health?
“Many millennials resent church bc their parents were good at church but not good at life. They struggle attending a place that consumed their parents time but never transformed their private life.” —Lisa Fields
The last thing we want is to be good at church, but bad at life… It makes me ask a deeper question, “Is my life with Jesus compelling where my kids and others want to know Jesus?” Is it contagious?
Our hope is to help equip you as parents for the task that God has entrusted to you with your children.

“Keep calm and pretend it’s not Monday.” Research shows that on Mondays, 50% of employees are late to work, productivity is at its lowest, and the average person doesn’t smile until almost noon! Why is it that we all dread Monday so much? Imagine if we could turn the most dreaded day of the week into a day full of purpose and impact. You were made for so much more than just 'surviving' your work week. You were made to thrive in it!
