The Talking Heads podcast is a sports based podcast that provides insight, knowledge, and entertainment on High School, College, and Professional Football/Basketball.
The guys return from a small (covid) hiatus after a week and a half. McLovin sits in for Freddy who is out of town and gives us our trivia like we have never seen it before. Chase leads the discussion of the National championship game that has Georgia winning their first championship since 1980. Quin brings us the recap of the wildcard round of the NFL Playoffs and gives us the matchups of the divisional round while everyone gives their predictions.
After the holiday hiatus, McLovin brings us back with some Trivia for the guys. Chase opens us up with Bowlmania and how everyone did; spoiler, the hosts didn't win. Quin gives us our NY6 games and which were the best ones. Chase brings back Kirk Herbstreit comments about players not being passionate for football anymore. Lastly, Freddy gives us our National Championship preview and predictions.

The guys predict the rest of their Bowlmania games they left off with from the last CFB episode (make sure to join our Bowlmania through the ESPN app). They also detail the NY6 games and give their predictions for the playoffs and hint at their National Championship game.
Former Alabama Wide receiver Legend, Marquis Maze, who played at the University of Alabama from 2007-2011 joins the podcast to talk about Alabama Football, his favorite games that he played in, Nick Saban's mentality, the Heisman, and more. The guys also recap this last week in college football with various coaching changes, transfer portal rumors, and more.
Without Quin on this episode, McLovin joins in the booth to talk a little NBA with Chase and Freddy. McLovin starts off with an NBA Contender or Pretender discussing various NBA teams. Freddy talks NBA rumors such as Ben Simmons trade, Vogel potentially being fired, Westbrook replacement, Irving drama, and more. Lastly, Chase gives us our five NFL games to predict this weekend.
Freddy gives the guys some hard trivia that leaves some of them speechless. Chase brings us our Conference Championship weekend that was a whirlwind of events. Quin gives us some NFL Trivia this week and McLovin participates in this one. Next, Quin give us our NFL Thanksgiving Recap with some brutal games on Thanksgiving itself. Chase gives us our predictions as the Leaderboards are getting close down the stretch. McLoving brings us our HOT TAKE from the booth saying that the Atlanta Falcons will make the NFL Playoffs.
Part two of episode 67 has Freddy discussing our College Football conference matchups and how this will determine the playoffs. Quin gives us a heated debate about the lates coaching hires at LSU, USC, and Florida. Who do you think was the best one out of the three?
A long episode that is broken into two halves. The first part has McLovin' opening up with a Coaches tenure game that the guys have to guess which coach has been at their school the longest. Lastly, Chase poses our HOT TAKE of Lane Kiffin becoming the new LSU Head Coach with Ed Orgeron on his way out at the end of this season.

Lastly, they receive a HOT TAKE saying that Oregon will challenge for a Playoff spot come the end of the season.

As The Talking Heads typically do, they continue to add onto the show. The introduce the man in the booth onto the show with his own mic. 'McLovin' (Yes, from Superbad) joins the show and runs some trivia that does not go over well at all and ends in a tie. A slow week of sports means a lot of segmented shows. Chase runs a 5 by 5 for Freddy and Quin. Freddy gives Chase and Quin a Buy or Sell, which means that they will buy or sell the stock of a player, coach, team, offense/defense, or organization. Lastly, the guys discuss the trajectory of Fantasy players for football this season after a wacky 2020 season.
Quin decides to take Freddy's job to start off the Trivia for this week about College and NFL football. The guys talk all college football but hone in on the SEC standings for this year. Next, they talk about their College Football Playoff prediction this year and their first two out. Lastly, their HOT TAKE comes in about Georgia will beat Clemson in week one by two scores.
On Ep. 41 the guys recap NBA Free Agency with the biggest and best moves, but also discuss the potential of tampering for the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat. Next, the adventure through the NFL Divisions are finally over with the AFC being talked about which came down to very hard decisions. Lastly, the HOT TAKE of the week dives into if Ole Miss could be a top two team in every other other conference but the SEC.
Jim Dunaway, Host of the brand new show Next Round Live that debuts August 16th at 9am CT and Former CBS/WJOX broadcaster joins in on the shape of the BIG12 after the official departure of Texas/OU. Gives insight on what may happen to more teams in the BIG12 while also noting teams from the ACC that may jump ship as well. Lastly gives his thoughts on when Texas/OU may join the SEC which may be before 2025. Next, the guys jump into the Westbrook trade and talk about free agency for the NBA before it begins. The guys continue through their NFL Divisions as they navigate the NFC South. Lastly, their HOT TAKE comes from Brad Umphrey which details that Players should not be loyal to their franchise since it is a business.
The guys open up with a new game for Freddy where he gives one fact and one lie about a sports topic, Chase and Quin have to find out which is the fact. Next the guys discuss the breaking news from a week ago about the potential Texas and Oklahoma move to the SEC while mentioning the potential downfall of the Big 12. Next the guys have differing opinions of who will be the winners and losers of the AFC West this next season. Lastly, they get their HOT TAKE from a fan that asks why the USA Men's Basketball team doesn't look so good. Next week, we will go over the NBA Draft and the best Draft night trades/Draft picks.
The guys finally talk with the 5-star cornerback Jahlil Hurley, who talks about the new NIL bill, offers from colleges, and his recruitment visits. Next the guys round out there NBA Finals takes and look back on the Finals after Giannis wins his first ring. Lastly, they take on the HOT TAKE of the Quarterbacks, without a Super Bowl ring, that deserves an extension.
The guys postpone the interview with Jahlil Hurley until next so they start off with a new segment called 'Name that Franchise'. Next they open with the NBA Playoffs after Giannis and the Bucks tie up the series 2-2. They adventure into the NFC North and discuss what happens if Aaron Rodgers does not play for the Packers. Lastly, they take the HOT TAKE and talk if Baker Mayfield is a Super Bowl winning Quarterback for the Browns.

They continue their breakdown of the NBA Playoffs, with the Bucks and Suns pitted against each other in the Finals. Next, the AFC East is on deck for the NFL division of the week. Lastly, another Hot Take from a fan comes in asking if Michael Phelps is the G.O.A.T. Quin, Chase, and Freddy may break this fans heart with their takes on this one. Each segment is now broken apart by their signature soundtrack so tune in to which part you by looking for the sounds of the Talking Heads.

Lastly, the guys missed out on their NBA Playoff predictions last week but come back hot this week with some very BOLD predictions.
The guys do a full Round 1 draft coverage from the 2021 NFL Draft. They open with their fax or foolishness segment to discuss more about the draft. They open with their Top-5 draft picks of the first round and dive into the teams that did the best. Next, Quin and Chase mention how Nick Saban received the best recruiting class of all time this offseason. Lastly, the guy give you their predictions for Super Bowl LV between the Bucs and the Chiefs. If you listen long enough, you might hear the production manager Gavin 5 talk a little about the Super Bowl's halftime show.
The guys host their first interview of the new year with Auburn Basketball Shooting Guard Chandler Leopard on the show. They discuss Leopard's recruiting process, his walk-on to Auburn, the Alabama and Auburn rivalry, and much more. Next they, open with the Alabama Crimson Tide's Basketball team and their hot start to their undefeated conference play. After that, QUin and Chase discuss the possibilities of the rumors that the Brooklyn Nets may add another big man in Andre Drummond. In other rumors, they assess Deshaun Watson and his preferred estimation of the Jets over the Dolphins. They start off with their Heisman Watch and give their takes on who should be in attendance at the end of the year to receive the award. They catch up on the past weekend with Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. come out of retirement; they also touch base with the fact that Jake Paul decided to help Nate Robinson go to sleep. Lastly, they converse within the AFC playoffs and who will be going all the way to the Super Bowl... and one of the guys does not have the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In Ep. 13 the guys start off with a new segment with College Football Pick 'Ems for the week. Quin and Chase both went 4-1 last time they gave you their picks, so make sure you tune in for all your CFB winners and losers. They discuss the NFL injury bug once again as the season only has a few weeks remaining and more injuries could cause teams to fall in the playoff positioning. NBA trades are next up as they recorded before the NBA Draft concluded, they discuss all the big trades between teams this past week. Lastly, they leave off with their NFL playoff predictions after the injuries have hurt some major teams and give you their information on who will make it to the Super Bowl.
This week the guys interview Legendary Alabama Head Basketball Coach Wimp Sanderson. They discuss his coaching days, former players he coached like Robert 'Big Shot Bob' Horry, Latrell Sprewell, and more. They also discuss his thoughts on the new style of play for Alabama and his thoughts on the Alabama football's season thus far. After that, they move into some NBA Trade rumors with the Draft and Free Agency nearing. They discuss SEC Football and how its season is being impacted by Covid, while finishing up with a recap of Notre Dame and Clemson while mentioning how this can impact the CFB Playoffs.
The guys have partnered up with Student Union Sports to present the Talking Heads Podcast. In this episode, they start out with their trivia segment in hopes to best one another. Then they talk the NFL Trade Deadline's biggest winners and biggest losers. The rumors of James Harden to the 76ers also arise as they contemplate their own trade scenarios. Lastly, they discuss the first weekend of Pac-12 football being back on the big screens.

The guys discuss Brian Flores' idea of starting Tua Tagovailoa for the first time in the NFL in Week 8 against the LA Rams. Quin and Chase then break down the SEC West teams along with their coaches record so far. The World Series has finally begun between the Dodgers and the Rays, and they give their takes on who will finish out on top. At the end of the podcast, they mention a special guest that will be coming next month and a fan giveaway opportunity coming soon to social media.
The guys host another interview this week as they invite University of North Alabama defensive-back KJ Smith onto the show to discuss the upcoming home game against Jacksonville State. Smith also gives his take on 10 college football games that are coming up this weekend and gives a bold prediction about how the Lions will fair this weekend. Week 7 of College Football is upon us and the guys break down the rankings, while also making their predictions on the CFB Playoffs. After the Dak Prescott injury, the guys mention the hardships the Cowboys will face while also ending with the NBA Finals wrap up.
