The times we feel like we’re missing something are ripe with opportunity for growth. Every time we feel this thirst for more, it begs the question of us as to what we’ll fill it with. Buying stuff? Exercise? Sex? Dopamine hits on social media. Jesus calls us, so simply and so consistently, to “Come to me”. This Sunday we’re looking at how we can reset our lives to the simple pursuit of Him, as the only place we can go to truly meet the longings of our thirsty souls.

The Church in the Scriptures combined gathering for Sunday worship with regular life together in homes around the meal table. Today we start three weeks of teaching into the centrality of the table in building community and blessing the city. The mission of table extends from house to house, an underground, unseen, revival - bringing life and connection through radical love, authenticity, food, invitation, and multiplication.
Today we explore the church culture Jesus dreamed of. It is an atmosphere that empowers, heals, encourages and equips us. This church - the healthy church - is the one that grows and has impact. The root characteristic of this environment is love, which unleashes powerful disciples to engage their purpose.
The apostolic instinct is the intuition that both our lives, and the church, were intended to be expansive and outwards-focused. The apostolic instinct leads us always to Jesus, and calls each of us to play our part - using our gifts to catalyse the church and renew the city.
The apostolic church is always directed towards healing the pains of the city. Believers are called, given authority, and sent out for the flourishing of the city.
