Safe Harbor Network is a group of people around the world who identify with each other based on common traumatic life experiences. It doesn't matter if these experiences involve drug addiction, depression, PTSD, living under abusive church leadership, loss of a family member, and the list goes on. We are a safe place where people can heal with no judgement, requirements, or expectations. People here are encouraged to be real. Hopefully there will be people you run into that can say they've been where you are. Everyone has a story to tell. What's yours?
"Some of us have suffered under abusive and overbearing leadership in the church. While most leaders are good, a few have ensnared people. George speaks from his own experiences once again. This episode will position you better to see abusive leadership before it sees you and what to look out for. To some, this subject has been the source of much pain. But we can heal together. George talks about how hard WE make it to come back to God. The fact is, God is waiting with open arms. We make it so hard on ourselves because we keep falling back into a works based righteousness. mentality. We feel we have to "get right" before we could ever come back.
