Pastor Leach addresses the Biblical reality that God blesses or judges peoples (families, churches, and nations), and not just individuals. Some sins are like the demon possessed man in Mark five; they are despised by everyone and ejected from society. But many other sins are akin to the golden calf of Exodus 32. These sins are paid for with money and labor, these sins are upheld as virtuous, worthy of man’s love and worship. These sins are sacred sins.
The golden calf needed a Moses, Thor’s Oak needed a Boniface, and the Church today needs men of the lineage of Moses and Boniface to chop down and smash up the venerated vices of our world.
CityGate’s 2022 Bible Conference surveys the cows and shrubs that must fall so that the nations can stream to King Jesus. Pastor John and Pastor Cole are joined by other faithful teachers of God’s Word concerning topics on psychology, music, sovereignty, and more.
