The pervasive influence of social media in today’s society has undoubtedly reshaped how we communicate - offering limitless connectivity while also allowing people the opportunity to create whatever persona or dream life they want, all for a social media highlight reel. The blurring of reality and fiction poses an interesting topic to discuss - giving rise to misinformation, cyberbullying, and the ultimate in cringe content – all for a ‘like.’ In the digital age where creators are going out of their way for engagement and validation – where is the line being authentic and cringe?@lyndallvile_co@_sandrayounes_

In 2023 - your business besties felt like life kicked into second gear. Individually our businesses grew to new heights (and some changed completely) and together, our podcast reached its first anniversary - a huge milestone for us.Through all of lifes many adventues, the good and the bad - we sit down in this poddy to share what we feel is "the need to do it all" and as cliche as it sounds, YOLO!Maybe, in the rush to keep up, we forget to find our own groove and set a pace that feels right rather than saying YES to everything and then trying to manage the tiredness and exhaustion that comes with it. We discuss the fear of missing out (classic FOMO), potentially missing opportunities, and the need to squeeze the absolute sh*t out of it life. This is Business Besties 2.0.
Imagine being born without the ability to do anything for yourself. No use of any of your limbs and being bound to a wheelchair since you entered into this world. Ben was born with a rare disease that has presented many obstacles for him. Those obstacles, for most, would completely stop them from living their life to the fullest. But for Ben, he has completely taken life by the reigns and seized every opportunity to live life beyond his physical limits. Hilarious, charismatic and inspiring - This is Back to Baesix with Ben Keyte.
Stepping into one's feminine energy is a transformative journey for women, and it can have a profound impact on their ability to manifest power, abundance, and fulfilment in their lives.
Almira Elli – Business Coach and Entrepreneur, talks us through why embracing feminine energy is about connecting with intuition, vulnerability, and authenticity – NOT about being weak and powerless. This journey often requires addressing and healing past traumas, which can be confronting, but by acknowledging and working through past wounds, women can release the blocks that have held them back and call in all they desire – sex, money, career and love!
It’s time to unlock your true potential, attract the abundance and desires you’ve always longed for, while also creating true balance and happiness.
Are you ready to be motivated?

Cancel culture has become a big thing in the social media world. It's like a super-fast judgment train where people can get called out and shunned for things they've said or done. Recently, an Aussie influencers post has gone viral with a community divided between being inspired versus being insulted. She has stood up and called people out on their laziness as the main reason they are not achieving their goals. Did she have a right to say what she said? Maybe. Was her message delivered in the way it was intended. Maybe. Did her account grab attention and have multiple people visiting her pages to see what the fuss is about? Absolutely. Social media is a powerful tool and it can be used in so many ways to grab attention, provide food for thought or rub you the wrong way. In this episode, Sandra and Lyndall unpack the good, the bad and the ugly. Social Media - are you inspired or insulted.

As a boxer, its easy for everyone to think that your biggest flex is your right hand. But after chatting with Koen, we could see it was another part of him, and that was his mindset. From winning some, to losing some and drawing some, what Koen focused on outside the ring is something that sets him apart from the rest.
Also known as Malicious; he talks us through being able to tap into the savage, to the soft, and be the person he needs to be for any situation.
He has been under the bright lights centre stage, to the darker hours in a mental health facility for drug abuse; but he used every experience as a learning curve, and he is now on a mission to helping others do the same.

Bold lip, soft lip, smoky eye, contour, highlight, flawless, matte, gloss - the beauty industry needs its own dictionary with pictures to explain what it all means.
With the number of instagram filters available these days, who even needs a make up artist?
Chantel Rahme, a.k.a The Make Up Expert has been painting faces and enhancing beauty since she was old enough to hold a brush. From following in her Mothers footsteps who once owned a beauty and hair business, Chantel has also created her own line of beauty products - CR Luxury Cosmetics. From Sydney to LA Chantel has benchmarked herself not only for her talent, but her caring nature and genuine love for her clients - each treated uniquely for who they are and what they are looking for.
Chantel is an advocate for education; and while some may pride themselves on being "self taught" in their bio, it will never compare to someone who has done the work and learned the lessons.
This episode will leave you wanting more.
Being the class clown in the group is fun... until its not. Lucky for Jim, his boys are the real deal and told him how it is, straight to his face. Jim always had talent and passion, but he never gave himself the chance to bring it to the spotlight even though he was told over and over again, he has what it takes. In this open and honest conversation, Jim shares his experience of giving up lifting beer jugs to lifting weights and losing an incredible 20kilos.
Quick on the pads, down to earth and as real as they come; its no wonder he and his friends have created a culture like no other at Legends Gym Sydney. Listen in as we sit down with 'one of the boys' for a chat. Its a vibe.

Mid Size, Plus Size, Petite, Hourglass, Apple - why are we classified based on our body shape?
Lately there has been a rise in the mid size movement; a pocket of women that are considered "medium" and the "in between". With the rise of this movement, and others such as plus size and body positivity - we have also seen women who are considered petite or skinny; trying to trend - by creating social media content pushing themselves into these categories. How many times can you change your body to fit in? Are we really going to follow the Kardashian body trends forever?
Each of our bodies is uniquely different, from the colour of our skin, to our dna make up - why do we keep grouping women based on one characteristic - the size of their pants (and butt). Kim K getting (or not getting) a BBL was every plastic surgeons dream - every girl was lining up on the doorstep of any clinic that had an available appointment to enhance the size of their behind. Kim K then flipped the script and had her BBL removed - awkward silence
In this episode we unpack this concept of our bodies fitting into a trend. Is it the need to belong, the need to stay relevant or the need to have a label so you feel ok in a community of others that share your identity.
What category do you fall into?

Is there such a thing as an overnight success?
What originally started as a side hustle during Covid Lockdown quickly became a full time hustle when Olivias house quite literally turned into a warehouse. Olivia operating her own laser clinic and her husband working as a security guard - they both made the decision to leave their full time roles and pursue their online sneaker and streetwear business which now operates out of a shopfront in Moorebank.
Their success was fast but it didnt come without blood, sweat and tears - despite what it might look like on social media and on the news. Olivia talks candidly about the reality of owning a successful business, being a mother trying to juggle it all, social media, infuencers and how relationships with family and friends changed in light of her success. A mumpreneur who is now sharing her creative flair and has opened up her own photo studio.
Warning - this episode might make you ask yourself - "do you have what it takes"

Being a Life Coach or a Mindset Coach seems to be the new IN thing; but will this fix your life, or girlfriend….do you need therapy?
New Year New Me"" is an easy time to be drawn into buying THE program that's going to change your life, but are you signing up to see a miracle happen without you actually having to do "the work"... again?

Listen in as we explore this buzz word trending the fitness industry.

Are Influencers responsible for creating unrealistic standards on how to live your life?
Find yourself constantly comparing and analysing you versus them when you are scrolling?
We get it…online you can create a persona, an image, showcase the highlight reel of your life – but is it time we hold influencers responsible for what they put out there? Or should we just let them be to monetise their "brand" and land a few good deals while potentially damaging your self-esteem and self-worth?
Social platforms can be a toxic place – and yet we are addicted to consuming it.
In this episode we ask "Where’s the line between showing up and being your authentic self online; and oversharing for likes and views?" If you’ve ever compared yourself to some girl online, if you’ve suffered body dysmorphia as a result of watching the content of these ‘fitness influencers’, if you’ve ever been convinced to buying into some online program that you saw on social media but slowly realised it was not what it said it was – this episode is for you!

Why is there such an intense pressure on women to have it all, do it all and show up at 100% - all the time! Why is our success as a woman determined by how many check boxes we can tick? The man, the house, the kids, the career? If you're not ticking boxes, are you really considered unsuccessful?
We chat about why dating in your 30s is an absolute trainwreck, how to know if he’s THE ONE, making friends as an adult, and why finding a boyfriend isn’t as simple as pashing a random boy on the dance floor anymore….rude.

Not all of us begin our fitness journey from a place of good intention – sometimes it begins masked with low self-esteem, self-hatred and body shaming. For us it did.
But over the years we dug ourselves out of that hole and evolved our focus to be the fittest, strongest and most confident versions of ourselves – and we teach others how to do the same.
This is Back to Baesix with @sandrayounespt and @lyndallvile_co – join us as we discuss how to shift from the ‘skinny’ mindset to being strong, fit – and sexy
