Audrey Spencer sits down and talks with Mrs. Schuster.  Mrs. Schuster is an English teacher at White River High school and was the recipient of the Mary Meisenbach Excellence in Education Award in 2021.  She is known for being an awesome teacher and her positive attitude and care for each one of her students. She used to teach Leadership and many students would consider her one of the greatest leadership legends here at our school. She is an advisor for the White River branch of the Daffodil Festival as well as our chapter of National Honor Society.

Mr. Howisey continues his discussion with Dr. Harrison as he goes from teacher to administrator.  Dr. Harrison reveals his favorite movie, podcasts he currently listening to and books he recommends for high school leadership students.  He digs deep on the impact social media is having with our teenagers today. Dr. Harrison earned his doctorate and superintendent certification from the University of Washington in 2018. He is a contributor to Bob Eaker and Janel Keating’s book “Kid by Kid, Skill by Skill” and has co-authored articles published in both “All things PLC Magazine” and the “Journal of Educational Administration”.  He is a recognized leader in school improvement and has presented at state conferences for both the Washington Educational Research Association and the Association of Washington School Principals.
