FISH is a service organization in Carson City and the Carson Valley that does way more to serve those in need than you may have realized. Scripture is clear that God cares for those in need and has decided that His primary method of coming alongside the hurting is through His people. Sometimes the best way the church, and believers can serve those in need is by partnering with others who are great at it, FISH is a great place to start.

Not only do the kids need God's people to show up but we can serve the families and parents in order to bring healing and reconciliation. James writes that true religion is that we visit orphans and widows in their distress. Jesus followers have consistently shown God's love by taking in children in need. Our area needs foster parents, but there are also other ways to serve these kids and families. There is a HUGE need right now. If God's people know of this need and show up we can truly make a difference that will last for eternity.
