Welcome back to another episode. I had the honor of sitting down with my mentor, and my boss Dean. I have known Dean for 8 years now. It's been one hell of a ride! I understand that most people don't share the same dynamic relationship that my boss and I share. I am grateful to know this man and his family. This week on It's Jessica not Jennifer the podcast I have a guest that I admire a lot, Indira. She is actually married to my co worker but I feel like we have been friends forever. She is always such a pleasure. I had the privilege of being able to sit down with her and discuss anything and everything. She shared her journey with battling and overcoming Ovarian Cancer. Cancer took my mom from me so I hate cancer. Indira has handled her situation with grace and bravery. She is a wife, a mom, a full time student, and a total badass. This was a great conversation, I know you will enjoy.

I discuss the 5 stages of grief with my younger brother. We lost our mom on Jan 2, 2021 and it has not been easy for us. She was our best friend and in our eyes the #1 mom. Everyone that knew her loved her caring, thoughtful, and loving spirit. She always put God and her family first. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her. I miss her. This was not an easy episode to record but I hope that you enjoy it and that you can relate.

My Dad is very special to me and I was honored to have had the chance to get to know him a little bit better.
