With Haunted Horizons GhostCast, Kag and Ali not only reveal where they are but also discuss their personal adventures through these often terrifying places! They confide with you their most chilling moments, any amazing captures, as well as any funny moments along the way (and there were many).
With over 180 investigation locations visited in Australia, U.K. and U.S.A., there is plenty to talk about!

The haunted Old Adelaide Gaol was built in 1841 and closed in 1988 and her ghost stories have long been spoken of, even when it was a working prison. Alison started researching it back in 2002 and remains there 22 years later. One of the longest research opportunities to date.

Mount Gambier Gaol opened in 1866 and operated until 1995. During its day, it saw three executions, with the executed still buried within the precinct of the Gaol. It now operates as a tourist hotel.After forging a friendship with the wonderful Mel and James, who run the Old Mount Gambier Gaol, we were invited to see if we could contact any of the ghosts who may still reside at the Gaol. Mel and James live peacefully with the spirits that they think still reside there and have never felt the need to explore it further. They finally felt it was time and so we went down to spend a few days as their guests.

The Nautical & Maritime Museum in Wallaroo, how lucky were we to be invited to check out. What an amazing piece of history this was. But... is it haunted? The staff were honest and said despite a couple of things, they weren't sure. So we went in to find out!

The Prince Albert Hotel in Gawler invited us to check out some odd feelings and happenings. They were honest that it hadn't been big happenings, but they were curious... and so were we. We certainly did have a few very interesting responses from the equipment. Is it haunted? We will let you decide.

The Caledonian Inn, affectionately known as the Cally, was built around 1858 by Peter McQueen. Who are the ghosts and why would it be haunted? Part of the Hotel was built from timbers and doors taken from local shipwrecks, where lives were lost. Could this be the cause of the activity reported in this hotel? Or is the original owner and his wife still overseeing the place?

Said to have been built in 1145 AD, on an ancient pagan burial ground, the Ancient Ram Inn is said to be the most haunted building in the U.K. Not only have human remains been found, but more are believed to lie under its floors. Kag and I went in search of the ghosts there, and in particular, the demonic entity said to reside still. Did we find it???

The Gumeracha Hotel, long rumoured to be haunted, was once known as the District Hotel. Built in 1861, it has a long history and many ghost stories have been told by owners, staff and patrons. After an unusual incident during our last visit to Moonta (listen to Cousin Jack's episode), we were invited back to investigate another miner cottage on the outskirts of the town claimed by some to be the home of Elizabeth Woolcock, the only lady to have been hanged in South Australia for having supposedly poisoned her husband in 1873.
People have always wondered if this house would be haunted, and we had the honour of being invited in to find out.

We were invited to investigate places in Moonta and Wallaroo and were offered this very old cottage to stay in for two nights. Cousin Jack's is an accommodation place where you can stay yourself. It is over 150 years old and is a beautiful, charming cottage full of character. While staying there, we thought we would investigate and on our second night, we were blown away by our Estes experiment. We had been to visit a cottage where there had been a murder, and it would appear the victim followed us back to the cottage.

Sitting in the precinct of what was once known as Parkside Lunatic Asylum is a beautiful sandstone building used as a women's ward and later elderly men. In 2009 we were lucky to be invited to investigate some strange goings-on that people who worked there were experiencing.

The Sydney Quarantine Station aka North Head Quarantine Station started operations in 1832 and closed in 1984. During that time more than 570 people died here but it is thought to be many more. It has long been known to be haunted, so Kag Allwood and Alison Oborn teamed up with Sharmaine Mansfield from Tasmania's Most Haunted to find out for themselves. Coming away thinking we had very little happened, we realised once we left, that we got more than we thought, including a possible warning for Alison.

The Grand Hotel was built around 1900 and was designed to be the best and grandest hotel in Millicent, South Australia. It would seem though, that some residents/customers remain. Children have been seen and heard and a gentleman is also reported to make himself known. We decided to take the Haunted Horizons 'On the Road Live' to find out and share our findings live with our followers.

In 2017 we visited Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the Newcastle Castle Keep. One of the best-preserved Keeps in the country, it has a long reputation for being haunted. Sitting on an old Roman Fort, it has had a long history of death, with executions and even seeing nearly 50% of the population of Newcastle die from the plague (black death). But most curious of all was the most unique cause for a castle wall to collapse and of course the flying donkey!

The Golden Fleece, or Old Spot as it was known for most of its life, came to fame when A Current Affair showcased it in an episode. A strange photograph had been taken showing what appears to be the ghost of an old man and a small girl. This story has always intrigued Alison and she eventually tracked down Scott Pearson who took this photo and interviewed him. Even better, we were granted permission to investigate the Hotel ourselves. This is what we found...

The Sallie House... is it hype, or does a child ghost or even a Demon reside there? The Sallie house has always been on our bucket list, but deep down, we truly believed it was all hype. We weren't surprised to see it was like any other house... that is, until it got dark! Even then, we came away thinking we didn't get much. On reviewing the footage, it would appear we got more than we first thought.

Napier Prison was built in 1862 and is the oldest prison in New Zealand. With four executions and many other deaths within its walls, it has long been reputed to be haunted, so we went in to find out for ourselves.

Margam Castle in Wales, was by far our most challenging and sticks out as one of the scariest places in Wales that we had spent time in! With something circling us in the dark, it became very unnerving. Watch what else happens.

Jedburgh Castle Jail, built on the site of an old Roman Fort, has long been said to be haunted. With many uses before it, including a Scottish Castle knocked down after being continually raided by the English, no wonder it is said to have many ghosts remaining within its walls. We will say this was probably the most uncomfortable and freakiest place we have had the pleasure to investigate... something not quite right about one block in particular.
