The Kerry Ladies football had a great win over Laois at the weekend seeing them top their respective table. They will play Monaghan in the semi-final of the National Football League Division 2. To discuss the importance of this along with other aspects of LGFA Donal spoke to Dan Kearney.

The inaugural Killarney Club 7’s -  a 7 – A-side Gaelic Football tournament where men and women from the four corners of the country will compete against each other on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of June at the Spa GAA grounds in Tullig. To discuss this new event Donal had Shane Cronin and Ivor Flynn on the line.

It has been 25 years since Tralee RTC (MTU Kerry today) claimed their first Sigerson title in 1997 where they defeated UL. Donal was joined by the captains of both teams Eamonn Ferris (Tralee RTC Captain) and Dara O’Cinnéde (UL Captain) to discuss the game.

Cumann na mBunscoil is back after a break of 2 years due to COVID. The popular primary schools GAA competition sees huge engagement from Kerry primary schools. To look at the competition Donal spoke to Tómas Hanifin.

It has been a very successful few weeks for Kerry Schools Basketball with various schools taking home All-Ireland titles. Two schools that took home silverware were ISK Killorglin and Gaelcholaiste Chiarraí. Donal spoke to Anne Moynihan from ISK and Sinead Ní Chathasigh from the Gaelcholaiste about their recent successes.

This week on Terrace Talk Donal looks back at another great sporting weekend for the Kingdom with victories in the Hurling, Football and Camogie. Donal analyzes these results and more with the help from Liam Brosnan and John Kennedy.

Next Friday West Kerry GAA will unveil their All-Stars for 2021. It is sure to stir up plenty debate among the competing parishes and villages. To discuss the event in more detail Donal spoke to Murius Fenton and Pol O’Quinn.

After Kerrys great win in the Hurling at the weekend Donal looks at the development of Hurling at secondary level to see how the players are being brought on up through the ranks. He also looks at an exciting new schools competition taking place for U161/2 boys. To discuss all this in more detail Donal has Mark Ryall and Ger Scollard on the line.

Rathmore hurling is on the rise with their first ever adult Hurling team competing in the County League and Junior Championships. To discuss this fantastic progression Donal spoke with Paul Horan and Donal Casey.

Mark Tuite is jetting off to Doha (Qatar) for the Senior World Billiards and Snooker Championships. He chatted with Donal about his journey to make it to the competition and the setbacks he has faced in his career.

The Kerry Beagle Association is a traditional sport that is trying to survive in modern times. Donal spoke to Ciaran Smith and Patrick O’Donoghue about the challenges of keeping a sport like this alive.

This week on Terrace Talk Donal takes a look back at Kerry’s comfortable victory against Donegal in the Allianz league which has seen the Kingdom go to the top of the table in Division 1. John Kennedy and Donegal commentator Paddy McGill are on the line with Donal to discuss both sides’ performances in the game.

The Kerry U20 Footballers were out for their first game of the year which saw them claim a solid victory over Cork. Some players from that panel had been competing in the Corn Uí Mhuirí final in previous weekend. TJ Galvin was at the match and was speaking with Donal.

Last Thursday saw Kerry Supporters Club hold their AGM. With over 40 members in attendance on the night Donal went to speak with their chairperson Donie O’Leary about their upcoming plans.

Saturday saw MTU Kerry take home the Ryan Cup after they clenched victory over Ulster University in Carlow. Tadgh Flynn who is a part of the management team spoke to Donal about the victory.

Young Kerry cyclist Tom Moriarty is heading off to Belgium next week to begin life in the professional ranks of competitive cycling with EvoPro. Donal caught up him with to discuss his journey so far.

Master Athletes now forms the biggest membership within Athletics with all major Championships from Cross Country to Track and Field; including the Indoors prove to be the best supported Championship on their calendar annually. Club members Ursula Barrett and Stephen Wallace spoke to Donal about the rapid growth of the sport.

A Womens Social Soccer programme is starting up in the Kerry region. The programme will run for six weeks in the Tralee Regional Sports Complex. Donal spoke to Ramona Keogh Burchill about this exciting new programme.
