Democracy around the world begins to decay. Our podcast series aims to provide front-line figures in the battle for freedom and democracy a global platform.
The Alliance of Democracies Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2017 by Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the former NATO Secretary General and former Prime Minister of Denmark. The vision of the Alliance of Democracies Foundation is to become the world’s leading “megaphone” for the cause of democracy. We do this through three programs: The Copenhagen Democracy Summit, The Expeditionary Economics Program and The Campaign for Democracy.
The 24th of February marked the tragic anniversary of one year of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, an anniversary that we hoped would never come around. We revisited our Voices from Ukraine Twitter Space feature to check in on our community of tech activists on the ground.

Over a week after Russia invaded Ukraine, we are still following and checking in with our Democracy Tech community based in Ukraine.
Ukrainian Fellows Regina Bondarenko, Tamara Tachynska, and Nikita Lukianets spoke at length about the situation on the ground and how tech can help support Ukraine. Fellows from Venezuela Luis Fornez and David Aragort showed their support from Ukraine.
