Understanding a Godly life that warrants criticism, hurt, frustrations... requires love. Love is one of the Fruit of the Spirit for a reason. It must be a foundatonal character trait to be able to push through situations where love may not be the first emotion you feel. But if God can love us even when we think we aren't worthy, we MUST act the same with WHATEVER comes our way...
One of the most infamous stories of David in the Bible! It lead to one of my favorite chapters in Psalms, along with one of the most quoted verses in the Bible. Let's talk about forgiveness from a sinner's point of view.
The first passage of scripture I ever quoted in my entire life was Psalm 23. I speak most of this chapter weekly as a reminder of who my God is. My Apostle even admonished us to read it for the last few weeks and it has given me even more solace of who God is. Let's dive into our loving Shepherd and Psalm 23!
The next few episodes will be discussing passages of scripture that may be overlooked near highly quoted scriptures. The Beatitudes are before Matthew 5:13, which talks about disciples being the salt of the Earth. However, most people are eager to quote scriptures like this but don't study the prerequisites or what happened after. For Matthew 5:13, the beatitudes give insight to some of what being the salt of the earth requires and the blessings that come with it. Divine blessings from God, given verbally by Jesus, are shown all throughout the New Testaments but so are important instructions and insights. I thank the Holy Spirit for biblical insight!
Let's get into these seasonal allergies, colds, flu, and some respiratory infection relief! Check your seasoning cabinet, pantry, and fridge because you may find some of these there! This is the Mental Healedness first official episode of the Mind, Body, and Soul (MBS) series. In the first season of the MBS series, we will be talking about our bodies in a subseries entitled "Preserve yo Body!". This subseries will discuss how our physical, spiritual, and emotional selves all relate to one another. It also will discuss different holistic remedies and health trends, and how to determine which could help or hurt you.
