Today, Susan & Melanie discuss “Multi CAT” certifications (ironically, Susan also has multiple cats)
-Different states around the US having different certification requirements for different specialties.
-Shout outs to our favorite movies, of course, with a bit of begging for sponsorship from our favorite ‘bad teacher’.
-Various states have various rules when it comes to what is needed to become a substitute teacher.
-Acronym Corner today is: 504 (Are numbers acronyms? Still, we feel it’s important to discuss this so soon after discussing IEP.)
-Our final story that Susan shares involves some body excretions, so if you’re not into hearing about poo, feel free to skip ahead and join us again next week! (you may hear Mel’s dog in the back, barking her compassion for Susan’s experience!)
Thanks for sticking with us through this first season of sound mishaps! We’re learning on the job (similar to teaching!) and are working to make sure that for our next season we’ll have all the kinks worked out.
