Join us as we travel through God's Word on Sunday's and Thursday's. Our teachings focus on a verse by verse study through the scriptures in a simple way to understand.
This morning we'll look at two men that chose to lay down their lives and their ambitions and gave their efforts to bless and minister to Paul. First, We'll look at Timothy who is said to be a son in the faith to Paul who had proved his character. Then we'll look at Epaphroditus who was said to be a brother, a fellow worker and a fellow soldier to Paul.

This week we'll finish up the 70 weeks of Daniel and we will do so by focusing on the coming prince and a 1 week covenant that he will confirm. We'll talk about how he will eventually set up the abomination of desolation and we'll talk about his end.

This week Paul will exhort the church in Philippi in several ways. He will tell them that complaining and disputing must be absent from the believers life. He will speak of the need to hold on to the Word of life. He will talk about how we are to shine as lights as we live in a crooked and perverse generation.

Tonight we will begin to unpack what is called the backbone of Bible prophecy as Gabriel the angel will speak to Daniel about 70 7 week periods that are appointed for the people of Israel.
We'll talk about the coming of Jesus and His death though not for Himself and then we'll talk begin to talk about the coming prince who is to come that is known as the antichrist.

This week Paul will continue to encourage this church to have unity as he states that the believers in Philippi should not be filled with selfish ambition or conceit and that they should consider others better than themselves. Paul will then speak of Jesus our great example and how He left glory to come and serve those He came in contact with and then humbled Himself to the death of the cross. Then we'll see that Jesus is highly exalted above all other names and that at His name every knee shall bow and tongue confess.

Tonight we'll see that Daniel as he looks at the prophecies of Jeremiah understands that the 70 years of captivity are almost completed...As he realizes this he is prompted in his heart to pray, to confess the sins of he and his people, to seek the Lord's favor and forgiveness in their lives and to plead with the Lord to keep His promises.

This week we'll finish chapter 1 of Philippians and we'll ask the question for you what does it mean to live? Today we'll begin our study in the book of Philippians and this week we'll look at an introduction to Paul's relationship with the church in Philippi. This letter written by Paul as he was on house arrest in Rome is a great encouragement to believers today that no matter what happens we can walk in the joy of Jesus.

This week we'll see a prideful king named Belshazzar come to his end...We'll see that he has no regard for God Almighty as he mockingly uses the utensils from the Lord's house to party. Then suddenly a hand will appear and write several ominous words that no one can interpret. Daniel will be brought in to deliver the message that the Babylonian kingdom was over and we'll see that the very same night it comes to pass.

This week we'll see the Lord take the world's most powerful man and in a moments notice allow him to become like the beasts of the field. Taken from Acts 26:28 as Paul speaks to King Agrippa. This was a king that was close to making a decision for Christ and yet he refused to believe.
Tonight we'll be looking at Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego as they go through perhaps the most difficult challenge that they faced in their lives. The king of Babylon will have a golden statue made and all who are present are commanded to bow and worship it...Those who refuse would surely die. We'll see these three men choose to honor the Lord God Almighty and God will show up big in their lives.

Today we'll see that Daniel after receiving both the dream and its interpretation will go back before the king and deliver the information to him. The king I am sure was quite shocked as he heard these things. As the interpretation is given we learn that the statue that was seen represents the kingdoms of this world with the final kingdom which is God's kingdom destroying all others that came before it.

Tonight we'll be taking a look at Daniel and his three friends and how they handle great adversity that occurs in their lives. The king has a dream and then demands that the wisest of the land not only interpret the dream but give him what the dream actually was...An impossible feat for any man to do. The wise of the land will freak out and come up empty handed and then we'll see Daniel and his friends run to the One who has the answers the God of the Universe and He will show up big on their behalf.

This week we'll see a large disagreement arise within the church. There will be some who declare that not only must one believe in Jesus but they must also keep the law of Moses and be circumcised in order to be saved. Paul, Barnabas, Peter and James will testify that the Gentiles experienced salvation in the same manner as the Jews and at the end of the day simple faith in Jesus will be all that is required. Not only will these men testify of these things but the scriptures and the Holy Spirit will also have done so.

Tonight we'll have a time of Worship and Testimony as we discuss different things the Lord has been doing in our lives and what He has spoken to us about His Word.
This week we'll see that those in Jerusalem hear about what had happened with Cornelius and those who came to hear Peter speak and they will initially not be to happy about it. After hearing how the Holy Spirit worked they will change their minds and then rejoice. We'll also begin to see a new city that the Lord begins to use in a big way called Antioch.

This week we'll see Saul once again persecuting the church which will lead to others being emboldened to come against them as well. This week as we finish chapter 14 we’ll be talking about the One who is like the Son of Man, we’ll talk about the sickle that is in His hand, we’ll talk about how the time has now come for God’s judgment and how the earth will at this point be at the point of no return. We’ll see another angel come out of the temple and we’ll see that this will lead to the battle of Armageddon which is seen over in chapter 19.
When we come to chapter 15 we’ll talk about another great sign that is in heaven, we’ll see that seven angels have the seven last plagues, we’ll talk about those who have had victory over the beast and the song or songs that they will one day sing. We’ll talk about the works of God, the holiness of God and the judgment of God. We’ll see the heavenly tabernacle of testimony opened and we’ll see that God is suddenly unapproachable in the temple.

Tonight we’ll see that the Lamb is back on the scene and this time He is with the 144,000 who are on Mt. Zion, we’ll see a new song that is sung of which we don’t have the words to, we’ll see harpists, we’ll get more details about the 144,000 and we’ll look at their character. Then we’ll talk about three different angels that are flying through heaven during the tribulation and making proclamations for all on the earth to hear and then we’ll finish with an exhortation that applies both to us and to those who will be living during the days of Revelation.

Tonight as we study we’ll talk about a second beast that is seen, we’ll talk about how he looked, what his mission will be, the signs he will be able to perform, his deception of those who dwell on the earth, his command to build an image to the beast, his miraculous empowerment of the image that is made, the mark that he will require the world to receive and the consequences of not receiving that mark. Today we'll look at one of the most intriguing characters of the bible the antichrist. We'll look at how the dragon and he become unified, how the beast will seemingly die and resurrect again and then we'll see that the world worships him.

Tonight we'll look at three main characters from Revelation 12. The woman, the dragon and the child. We'll discuss what scripture reveals about the identity of each one.
Today we won’t cover that many verses but we will be looking at several other passages of scripture as we do so. We’ll talk briefly about the three woes that were proclaimed, we’ll talk about the seventh trumpet that will be blown, we’ll talk about the Lord’s kingdom and His inevitable reign, we’ll look at the elders who are once again worshipping, and we’ll look at the judgment of God and the rewards of the saints and finally we’ll see the temple of God in heaven so a lot to talk about in a short passage.
This evening we'll continue our study through the book of Revelation. Today we'll talk about the temple that will be rebuilt once again in the city of Jerusalem and we'll talk about the 2 witnesses who will be empowered by God to prophesy.
This week we'll be introduced to yet another angel who will stand with one foot on the sea and one foot on land. We'll talk about 7 mysterious thunders and then John will be told to take the book in the hand of the angel and to eat it. The angel will declare that there will be delay no longer and that all the prophets had spoken would come to pass.
Tonight we'll look at an even more devastating judgment that will come upon the earth. A 200 million strong army will come upon the earth and this time unlike the last trumpet judgment they will be given authority to kill to the tune of 1/3 of the population. Even as all this occurs the world will refuse to repent of its evil deeds.
Today we'll look at the 5th trumpet. We'll see supernatural, abnormal locusts invade the earth. These creatures will be something the world has never before seen. They will be able to sting men for five months and men we are told will look for death and not find it. Even though this will be terrible we can still see the mercy of God even in this.
This week the 7th seal will be opened and we'll be introduced to 7 angels who are given 7 trumpets. There will be silence in heaven for what John perceived was 30 minutes. Once the trumpets begin to be blown cataclysmic events happen on planet earth.
Join us tonight as we look at Revelation 7. Last week there was a question asked in the very last verse when those on the earth said "For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" Chapter 7 answers that question as we see in the midst of the most difficult times the world will ever go through two distinct groups who see the work of God in their lives. Even in the end times the Lord will continue to call people to Himself.
Tonight after seeing the Lamb found worthy to take the scroll and having redeemed man to Himself the Lord will begin to open the scrolls. Mayhem will ensue, the antichrist will be revealed, war, famine and death will follow. Then we'll see many that were slain for their faith and finally an incredible earthquake that will deal a blow to the sun, moon and stars.
This week we'll be looking at chapter 5 once again and we'll be seeking to answer what exactly is the scroll, and why was it that the Lamb had to die in order to have the authority to take the scroll from the One on the throne.
Tonight we'll do an overview of chapter 5 in our study of Revelation. We'll find two major themes as we read through it...the Lamb and the scroll and we'll inspect the text to see what we can learn about these two important topics. In the end we'll see the Lamb being worshipped for the incredible act of redemption that was accomplished on behalf of humanity
This week we'll be in chapter 4 of Revelation as John is taken up into heaven. The first thing and the most prominent thing that he will see in chapters 4 and 5 is the throne. We'll get a description of the One that sits on the throne, we'll see there are 24 elders around the throne, an emerald colored rainbow, lightning and thunder, 4 living creatures and more. It's a busy chapter with those who are present worshipping by the end.
This week we come to the third portion of the book of Revelation which is the things which shall take place after this taken from Revelation 1:19. We'll briefly discuss the things which had been seen, the things which are and we'll turn our attention to the things that take place after the church age. We'll talk about the rapture and provide several reasons for why we believe it's a pre-tribulation rapture.
This week we'll look at the last of the 7 churches that are found in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. I wish it was a church letter that was full of good things but instead we find that it's perhaps the church that the Lord had the worst things to say. This church was found to be lukewarm, they trusted in their own riches, they felt they had everything together and yet the Lord said they were wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. The Lord loved them, so He disciplined them in the hopes they would turn to Him.
Today we'll look at what many call the faithful church. The believers in Philadelphia was known to have an open door, to have little strength, to have kept His Word and they had not denied His name. The Lord made promises to them that they would be spared from the hour of trial that would come upon the whole world and encouraged to hold fast that which they had.
This week we'll look at a church that on the outside had quite the reputation but the Lord said they were dead. How did things get like this for this church and how do we protect ourselves from getting to that point? There were some that hadn't defiled themselves we are told and they would walk with Him in white.
This week we'll look at the compromised church of Thyatira. The smallest city of the 7 churches of chapters 2 and 3 and yet the Lord had the most to say to them. This was a church that had allowed a false prophetess into their midst who was teaching the people that it was just fine to eat food sacrificed to idols and to indulge in sexual immorality. Great judgment would come upon her and those who followed her. To those who refused this doctrine they were told to simply hold on to what they had until He came.
Tonight we'll look at the church in Pergamos. Similar to the church of Smyrna in that persecution was a part of everyday life and yet some compromised and caved to the system of the world around them. The Lord wants us to be holy and set apart for Him and we are reminded that we can overcome and clearly that's through our Lord Jesus Christ.
This week we'll look at the church of Smyrna. Smyrna was a city with a history that very much helps bring what this persecuted church went through into focus. We'll look at the incredible way that Jesus comforts this church, prepares this church and blesses this church.

This week we'll begin to look at the first of seven churches that are found in Revelation 2 and 3. Ephesus was full of good works, they were doctrinally sound and yet the Lord had one thing against them. They had left their first love. We'll be talking about what it means to leave your first love and how to get back to your first love among other things this week.
This week we'll see John on the island of Patmos being in the Spirit receive some amazing things that he was instructed to write down. We'll see Jesus described not as a lamb but as a conquering judge in the description we are given. We'll also see an outline for the book of Revelation in chapter 1:19.
Tonight we'll hop into the text of Revelation 1 as we take a look at the first 8 verses. We'll find out who the letter was written to, how it was given and who it was from...And then we'll take a look at our awesome Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we'll be reminded that one day He is physically coming back to earth! Maranatha!
This week we'll see John partaking in an incredible opportunity as he baptizes the Lord Jesus. We'll take a brief look at the genealogy of Jesus and then we'll be looking at the temptations Jesus went through as the Spirit led Him in the wilderness.
This week we'll take a look at John the Baptist and his ministry. John was willing to give the hard message and the people responded, have we become to worried today about what others think? Have we begun to give a soft message? So often the theology of repentance and judgment have gone to the wayside in the church and yet our world needs to hear it. Ultimately the world needs to hear of the love of the Savior.
