As an artist, he spent the first half of his career in the “hard techno” scene, signed to labels such as Dolma, Finder, Ushuaia. Until 2020, when Beatport pulled the plug on the hard techno, Freak Unique was #56 best selling artist in the world...

Since the back end of 2019, he started concentrating more on the techno sound and steering away from the hard techno vibe.. FU successfully signed tracks to Matt Sassari’s Panterre, and Spartaques IAMT label. His track 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' with IAMT got to number 13 in the Techno charts and stayed up there for 6 weeks with major support!

This success got Freak Unique noticed more and was able to continue signing tracks with names such as D-Unity's Unity label and

5 tracks on Ramon Tapia's (drumcode, Suara, Terminal m) Say What? Label.

This has enabled him to climb to #52 in the world Techno charts!
