Getting from where you are to where you want to be is a conscious and intentional act, in all aspects of life including immigration, education, relationships, understanding, consciousness, diet, health and many other aspects of life. Let's talk about many of these journeys that we take! Let's talk about them! Let's celebrate them!
In this episode Melissa & Rick discuss career and ambitions. How do we go about managing a career, especially early on in the career, setting a roadmap for what we “want”, making key decisions along the way, gravitating toward things that we are passionate about and aligning these aspirations with our more holistic life goals. In this episode we also discuss adaptability, growth and self awareness which are all important topics as we manage a career.
Managing a career is not an isolated part of our life, it is a part of our life that is a JOURNEY that we navigate along the way, always driving alignment with our broader goals.

In this episode Melissa shares here Journey into the non-profit world, specifically working for Living Water International & Coreluv right out college. Melissa forsook the immediate attraction into the corporate or business world to follow her heart into selflessly giving to others. She learned the value of clean and available water, as she helped provide clean water for those in need at Living Water & then for several years pursued her heart's desire to Defend the Orphan at Coreluv where many kiddos in Haiti stole her heart.
