A darkness retreat deprives sight and often hearing by remaining in a room that is completely dark for an extended period of time. This sensory deprivation is an incredibly powerful way to observe the consciousness and learn things that we rarely have the clarity to see.
I undertook this as an experiment to deepen my awareness of my mind. It was psychologically the MOST CHALLENGING thing I have ever done, but the truths I found through it were personally profound and necessary. Listen to this episode to hear the details of why!
