Carolynn and Mary Lou and I are joined this week by my college buddies - Craig Kreutzer and Jonathan Thayil. While we talk a LOT about our days at Bethany College, we all talk about college then vs. now. How different it is!! Join us for a ton of laughter, some swearing, and some really good conversation!
Not a lot of show notes - but I do have some pictures to upload if I can figure out how to do that! One of the five of us, but another of Craig showing the shape of West Virginia on his hand!
Oh it was so so so fun.
Mary Lou and I talk with Bridget Dean, Mayor of Berkley MI! It's a great town and she's doing a great job! Enjoy time with us and you'll want to visit her town ASAP! So many people feel the call for service, and don't follow it for a ton of very valid reasons. But Bridget? She did it!
We are about half way through Lent everyone!! Back this week is our good friend, Sister Bridget Bearss. She spends time with us talking about all thing Lent - how we clear out the "clutter" in our hearts and minds, and we of course laugh along the way!
We don't have a lot of show notes today - except for this prayer
Have a great week everyone!! Laugh a LOT!
Jill and Mary Lou (Carolynn is out of town again this week!) talk about our great expectations - and how we can be let down by those we love. What do we do about that? How do we still love, live and laugh through these situations? It's tough - but we let each other down and get let down enough in our lives to learn from it!
Show notes mean a lot to us - here's what we are thinking!

Advent is here!! It's a beautiful time for reflection, and joy and all the other feels! Jill and Mary Lou and Carolynn are joined this week by Sister Bridget Bearss, RSCJ. Sister Bearss is a part of the Religious of the Sacred Heart and was the Head of School where we all worked, laughed, cried and worshipped. Among her many gifts is her ability, to bring perspective and focus to Advent. And she shares some VERY wise words and laughs with us. She reminds us - Advent is a time for waiting! Waiting is HARD!! But oh the joy that comes at the end!
She's in DC though - so we had to ZOOM! Our sound - YIKES! Now we know to use a microphone :)

From being the first female managing partner of a CPA firm - IN THE COUNTRY - to serving as a precinct delegate now, Linda exemplifies leadership. It's a fun and engaging episode.
