What's up guys, my name is Giovanni Galvez and I’m here to talk to you guys about my new podcast called Gio Center. In this sports podcast we will be talking about international sports and American sports. Internationally we will be talking about F1, Soccer club and world cup. In the United States we will be talking about the MLS, MLB,NHL, NBA, NFL and some college ball. This podcast is supposed to be opinionated but also giving news in the sports world. I plan on having professionals in the field of sports. First episode will be on a D1 college football referee and how she went from being in Los Angeles to being the first Latina college referee. We will also talk about some college football. The next episodes will have a professional soccer broadcaster and what it is like to be broadcasting. I also hope some days we can have a fan day in which fans can call, text me, email me message me any topic, controversy and opinion you guys have.
In this episode, I talk about the World Cup and the use of V.A.R. and how it has had an immediate impact on the game. I dive in more into how V.A.R saved Japan's run in the tournament while also ending Germany's run. At the end I also give my solution to a slight problem that I find with the simplest off-sides calls.
