In Acts 28:30-31, we read Paul living 2 whole years at home..RECEIVING all who came to him. Paul’s home was a sanctuary and we can have the same. Our home doesn’t need to be the Pinterest perfect board to welcome people in. Oh no Sister! It should be a home where those that enter feel His presence.
🧂 Acts 13:51-52 (and vs 50- those loud women lol) is SALTY for this episode. When I share about submission, I have had wives say “ain’t no man gonna treat me that way.” They are loud about it and dismissive. I’ll share Gods Word and when they don’t receive, I dust off my boots and stay in the Holy Ghost JOY!

We got devastating news that a dear friend passed. He was a Godly man who mentored us in our early walk with the Lord. His wife is now a widow. A title none of us think about obtaining suddenly. Psalm 77 reminds me of the redeeming love Christ had on our marriage. Verses 1-3 are parallel to when I cried out to God. Selah..in that pause, God brought me Mrs B who lovingly corrected me, gave me scriptures on being a biblical wife, and I applied them. OUR MARRIAGE HAD HOPE!! As Psalm 77 continues in verses 11-13, it tells us to talk about His deeds. And I do now- through this podcast, social media, and in person with women. My hope is for others to get that same God change in their lives too.

Recently, I was part of a group text with about 8 other wives. The chat started when one wife asked for specific prayer for her husband and his pain. I added in how our husbands are under attack and they need our prayers! It was wonderful seeing text after text of individual and on point prayer by other wives as they prayed for their husband too. We stood in the gap for each other, praying for God's hand on our husbands which helps our marriage.
Sis, the BS wife does not ask for prayer. Or if she does, it is prefaced with a long list of complaints first.
