It’s been a while since I have recorded. 2023 was a year!! The growth that used take me minimum five years to do fit into one year!! I rambled a little bit in this one, but trying to capture this year into words feels impossible. I tried.
A couple years back, I stopped setting New Year’s resolutions. I found them too confining. I switched over to Mindsets. I seen more growth in setting mindsets, instead of goals. In this episode, I explain that.
I recorded this at 2 in the morning, so ignore my yawns. I was lying awake thinking about some of my Healing Concepts from the last year. Figured I would share.
I finished the rough draft to these lyrics back late September. This is still the rough draft. I have been sitting on these lyrics for a while because I am still working on trying to figure out how I want the guitar and/or piano to sound. It’s always been a dream of mine to write and compose a song and hopefully record it. These lyrics basically wrote themselves. Hope you enjoy!! Here’s to chasing dreams!!!
This is me being real and honest and vulnerable. I usually hate the way I sound recorded, especially if I have been crying. But this is a topic that needs to be discussed more and maybe one day I will go more in depth… but this is all I could muster for now…. If you feel alone with religious trauma, feel free to reach out. You are not alone. I see you.
You can’t take care of others, if you don’t take care of others. Just a few of my thoughts on resting and making yourself a priority ♥️
A topic that has been on my mind lately is inner strength, especially after abuse and trauma. I will have to do a part two. The train got too loud.
I know it’s been a hot second. This year has been a rough year. I have had some thoughts, but haven’t had enough emotional bandwidth to address them. Here they are now.
Sorry for the longer episode… I do have a guest speaker with me this time, so it not just me talking… In this episode, Kirra and I attempted to discuss some misconceptions about trauma and abuse and also how to have a relationship with a trauma survivor.
This episode was more for me, honestly. Feel free to listen though. This episode is an attempt to give very small, but very real glimpse into what has been going on in my brain.
Ever since Mother’s Day, I have been thinking about some of the amazing women in my life and the impact they have had. These are just a few of my thoughts. Enjoy!!♥️
This is slightly longer than my normal episodes. I decided to do something different and do the first of most likely many poetry readings... Enjoy!!
As I look back over my life, hope has really been a lighthouse getting me through my darkest times. In this episode, I discuss just a few of my sources of hope.
I have been considering doing a podcast for a while. Over time, I came to the realization that there is only one topic that I can do justice. Thanks for joining me in my journey.
