2 Corinthians 10:3 says "For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh." Today, we begin a new series focusing on the unseen realm. We will see that there is an invisible world, there are invisible kingdoms, and there is an invisible war. It's time that God's people get in the fight and take back what has been stolen. It's time to stand up and declare "This means war!"
Are you losing heart in an area of your life today? Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 4:16 "Therefore we do not lose heart." In today's message, Pastor Brad shares the keys to not losing heart. You will find that as you apply the Word today, God will restore hope to you and discover that there is more!
It is our 25th anniversary as a church! As we celebrate all God has done, we look forward to what God has in store for our future. Behold! God is doing a new thing! This message is a call to get our expectation ready for what He has for us.
We are together on a mission! But we can't be on a mission if we aren't actually engaged in that mission. Today, we hear the calling to engage in the mission God has for us. It is only then that we will live the Abundant Life God has for us!
Today we looked at the Woman at the well and her response to an encounter with Jesus. She left behind what she came with, what she came for, but she left with everything she needed. Her response was to tell her story to everyone she could. Her extend flowed from her encounter. The Holy Spirit empowers us to extend to everyone, everywhere, and flows from our encounter with the Living God.
We are together on a mission to be a lighthouse in this region. The roadmap God has given us is to Encounter, Engage, and Extend. Today, we will learn about the importance of Encountering God in our lives. Without the encounter, we have nothing more than dead religion. But with it, we cultivate an abundant life with our creator.
We are Together on Mission. This series explores the mission statement of Abundant Life.
On July 4, 1776, our forefather proclaimed "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." What if those three things were more than a motto? What if there was a deeper spiritual truth to be taken hold of? Today we will learn about what the pursuit of happiness really is and how to take hold of it.
On July 14, 1776, our forefather proclaimed, "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." What if those three things were more than a motto? What if there was a deeper spiritual truth to be taken hold of? Today we will discover how the enemy attacks life and how Jesus brings the Abundant Life to those who come to Him.
On July 4, 1776, our forefathers proclaimed "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." What if those three things were more of a motto? What if there was a deeper spiritual truth to be taken hold of? Today we will learn about what true liberty is and how to receive it!
Are you waiting for the right conditions so start contending? Today, we look back at the Apostle Paul's circumstance when writing this letter. We will discover that regardless of the situation, God gives us the grace to step fully into what He has called us to.
Sometimes giving feels like a burden. We give and we give and there don't seem to be results. We don't feel like we are getting anything from it. Today, we will examine Paul's encouragement to the Philippian church and discover that there are great rewards for sowing into His Kingdom purposes.
When we think of Fathers, the word "strength" comes to mind. As kids, we believe that dad can lift anything, do anything, and be anything. But just because you have physical strength, doesn't mean you are actually strong. The Apostle Paul teaches us about a different kind of strength that is greater than anything we can imagine.
We need to focus on our thoughts. What we think on becomes words, actions and our character.
Philippians 4:9 What you have learned and received, and heard and seen in me -practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
Purposefully think on the words and promises of God.
Some of us are overwhelmed by the circumstances of our life, our future, our country. We need to cast the care of it on him. God wants us to allow joy and peace to have their way today.
As Christians we are called to a higher standard than the world. We are called to contend for others because we love them. We are called to look at our brothers and sisters through the eyes and with the mind of Christ.
The right leadership is so important to success. The Apostle Paul tells us about a bad leader called the god of the stomach. But Jesus left us a better leader in the person of the Holy Spirit. On this Pentecost Sunday, invite the Spirit to be the leader of your life.
We need to model our faith. But we can’t stop there. We are called to impart our faith to others. On this Mother’s Day, we will hear about a mom who did just that and learn how to do the same.
Today we are contending for the progress God has for us. Don't get stuck. Instead make forward progress!
Contending is more than an idea. It is more than wishful thinking. Contending is fighting for something. And at some point on the journey, contending involves risk. Today, we will discover that anything worth fighting for is worth risking for.
As we Contend, we shouldn't just be contending for things to improve. We should be contending for things to be made new. Today on Baptism Sunday, we learn about the importance of joining in the death and resurrection of Jesus. This is more than a religious symbol; it is a supernatural event in the life of a believer.
As we contend for what God has for us, we also need to contend for what God wants to do in us. The Apostle Paul tells us to "work out our salvation". Today, we will learn why that is important and the impact it has not only on our life, but in the lives of others.
We live in a selfie culture. It is self-promoting, self-assuring, and self-focused. But we aren't called to contend with that kind of minset. Instead, Kingdon Culture teaches us a different path. It is the path Jesus took and it is called: The Way Up Is Down.
When we walk through difficult circumstances, it's natural to wonder, "where is Jesus?". In John 20, Mary came to the empty tomb wondering the same thing. What she didn't realize is that Jesus was there all along. This Easter, discover the same truth in your own life - "He's Right There!"
Contending wasn't meant to happen alone. In today's message, we will discover the power in contending together. We will see what can happen when we stop trying to do it alone, but instead invite others into our journey. And we will see what can happen when we fight along side others in their journey.
Today we look at what it is to Magnify Christ and how Paul did in his faith, in his fix and in his freedom. In our freedom through Christ we want Christ to be magnified!
What do we do when we find ourselves in predicaments that are less than desirable? For many, they give up on their mission, their faith, and their purpose. But there's a better way...turn your predicaments into platforms! Listen as we examine Paul's situation and what he did to stay the course as an ambassador of Christ.
We try to leave peaceful lives, right? But there are times for peace and there are times to fight. In this message, we discover the power of standing up for what is right. As we stand, we learn to contend for what God has for us.
What do we do when things go wrong? Do we shake our fists at heaven and blame God? Today, we will discover there's a response that produces far greater results. We need to contend, not with fists, but with Open Hands.
Our theme for 2024 is CONTEND! This week as we look at the beginning of the Philippian church, we discover a series of detours. But they weren't just ordinary detours, they were divine ones. If we look closely at detours in our lives, we might just see God working through them, too.
Our theme for 2024 is CONTEND! This week, we are contending for the completed work that God has for each of us. I know this: God finishes what He starts. Let's take a look at what happens in the process as God carries us to completion.
It's Vision Sunday and our word for the year is: CONTEND. We are going to stand in faith and contend for all God has for us this year. The things he has begun will come to completion by faith. Are you ready to contend!?!
Today in our FIRST series, we talk about the First Ten. What happens when you practice the Biblical idea of Tithing? This is not some sort of legal obligation; it is a principle that opens the floodgates of heaven.
Today in our FIRST series, we read that scripture tells us to honor the Lord with our wealth. What does that look like in our lives? In this message, we explore the firstfruits principle and discover the overflow that comes along with it.
What you treasure will determine your course. It will determine your vision. It will determine what you invest in. There is a dangerous spirit that wants to be your treasure and it is messing with your resources. Today, we will study the treasure principle, put Jesus back in the place of First Love, and break that spirit off of our lives.
As we begin this first month of the year, let's consider this question "Is God first?" As Christians, we know the answer should be yes, but what does that look like? And what happens when "God first" makes its way into the most practical areas of our life?
This has been a year of breaking ground. In today's passage, we read that we are to press on with the work God has begun in us. We must persist, pursue, and protect if we are going to the fullness of what God can do in our lives.
The angel said "peace on whom his favor rests." So who does his favor rest on? It's anyone who has received the free gift of God's grace and surrendered their life to him. That is where peace comes from! If you have received Jesus, you can receive peace.
Your posture has a lot to do with your outcome. In today's message, we learn that we can posture ourselves for victory through Jesus. If you are living defeated, it's time to change your posture.
A word for every one of us. 1. We are called (speaks to our past). 2. We have hope (speaks to our future). 3. We have the power of Christ living in us. (speaks to TODAY).
Listen as Pastor Aaron Hunter gives his greeting from Colombia and encourages the church.
When we are changed by the love of God, fear cannon co-exist. Let God perfect His love in you today.
Faith. Position. Purpose. The love of God that John says changes our lives is first rooted in the faith that Jesus died on the cross and took our place. He showed us mercy! Second, the love of God gives us confidence knowing that our position is with Christ, seated at the right hand of the God where he makes intercession for us and counters the lies of the enemy. Third, our purpose is to do God's will while we are here and tell others about the love of God. When we are changed by the love of God, fear cannot co-exist.
Let God perfect His love in you today.
There are so many voices vying for our attention. As Christians, we need to be able to discern what voices to listen. In this message, we will discover that God not only gives us the ability to discern the voice of the enemy, He gives us the power to over him.
As we continue our Breaking Through series, John shows us an important truth about love: it isn't really love unless there is action to it. In other words, love doesn't just say something, it does something. The same principle is true when contending for breakthrough. There is an action required on our part.
Jesus Good, Satan Bad. That's an obvious enough statement. So, who are you partnering with? The answer to that might not be so obvious. In today's passage, we find that John draws a clear line and causes us to consider whose side we are really on.
Jesus Good, Satan Bad. That's an obvious enough statement. So, who are you partnering with? The answer to that might not be so obvious. In today's passage, we find that John draws a clear line and causes us to consider whose side we are really on.
Aligning our identity is critical for breakthrough. So often, people stay stuck because they don't believe they are worth being unstuck. When we align our identity with who God says we are, we start living like people who are breaking through.
There is an all-out assault on the person of Jesus Christ and His church. It is more than an argument or an opinion; it is the spirit of antichrist. In this message, we discover what that is and how to combat it so that we can experience breakthrough.
The devil has been playing the same tricks forever. He wants to get you to love the world and he uses three simple strategies: lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and pride of life. This message is a call to beware the world and expose the strategy of the enemy.
All of us have blind spots. We don't like to admit it and we probably don't even know what they are. But they need to be addressed if we are going to see breakthrough. In today's message, we learn to discover those blind spots in our life.
When we sin, we don't have to fear rejection from God because we have an Advocate in the person of Jesus. He stands before the throne and speaks on our behalf. Because of this, we are free to experience the breakthrough that God has available for us.
When it comes to sin, we tend to believe the lie that we can keep it hidden in the dark and no one will know. We are deceived into thinking it's not that big of a deal. But Breaking Through requires that things are brought into the light. It is in the light where we become who God has created us to be and live how he has created us to live.
In this series, we will continue to dive into our theme for the year, "Break Ground." Today's message reminds us that Jesus broke through into our world and He can break through in every situation we face.
Go and live authentic, imperfect, messy lives before a broken world so that others may see Jesus redeem and transform you into His image. Giving them HOPE that He too can redeem and transform them too. Be Real. With yourself, With God, With others.
This week we recognize the influence God has given us. Recognize His Authority and His Promise.
God is calling each of us as Christians to take the city! That city could be Orting, this region, your family, or any sphere of influence you may have. Taking the city will require that we step up to the plate and pursue what God has in store for us. And it all starts with getting our mindset right. Join us as we Take the City!
As we navigate this Christian life, we sometimes find ourselves traveling down a wrong road. The only solution for going the wrong way is to turn around. In this last message from the book of Ezra, we will discover the call to turn and the impact that turning has in our lives.
God calls his people to be separate. We are a chosen people, set apart as holy to the Lord. When we mix in the way of the world, things don't work out the way they should. Today's message is a call to return to being separate the way God intended.
Are you running short on resources? I've got good news for you: God's resources never run out. When he calls us to something, His resources will be there to accompany that calling. He will even move the heart of kings on our behalf.
Today we look further into what Paul as a spiritual father has instructed to us. To be strong in the Lord and in his might. To teach and leave a legacy. To stay on mission and remain kingdom minded. To walk in integrity, and to work hard as your work unto the Lord in everything we do. We take these things, and like Timothy, incorporate them into our lives and see the good fruit of aligning your life with God's ways.
Do we need God's wisdom, his protection, his covering over our life? James 1:5 says that we can ask and that God is faithful to hear. We come to God literally empty and ask for divine intervention in our time of need. (Isaiah 4:6)
Have you ever wondered if God can use you? The answer to that question is, YES! You are valuable to Jesus and to His church. He can use you, so don't count yourself out.
Ezra was a scribe who had his heart set on the Word of God. We too, should set our hearts like he did. When we study, obey and teach the Word, we will discover its incredible transformation power in our lives and in the lives of others.
It is time to revisit the Passover. Jesus being the lamb that took away the sins of the world. It was his sacrifice and the shedding of His blood that was placed upon our hearts. We are free of sin and bondage! Let's leave it behind Run into His arms and rejoice that we are free. Be full of joy like those who celebrate the feast of Unleavened Bread. Pure Joy!
The Lord wants us to consider our ways. To consider if our goals line up with the Lord's goals. To consider if our spiritual priorities are in order. If we don't, we end up living the futile way of life. Let's break out of futility and align our ways with His!
Sermon Series: Sacred Ground
Church, this is what it looks like to "fight like a mother." Like a "mama bear." You FEND by guarding, and defending, and you Fight like crazy ON YOUR KNEES! But then you need to go on the offensive and train others to "fight like a mother," too! The more people we have in the fight, the better off the church will be!
We know that opposition comes when breaking ground on what God has asked us to do. But what happens when the opposition turns into accusation? Today, we discover the strategy of accusation and how to respond to it.
As we work on building our temples, we will inevitably face oppositoin. When we do, it will require that we use discernment to expose the plan of the enemy so we can stand our ground.
Continuing with our Ezra service, today we meet some men who are seriously unimpressed with the foundation, because they had seen what the temple used to be. The problem was, the were building by the ruins. And because of that, they weren't able to see the greater work that God was doing.
The altar was an Old Testament place of sacrifice and consecration. But what if I told you the altar is still relevant today? We, too, come to the altar. It is the altar of the cross, where Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for you and me.
This Easter as we take a look at the resurrection, we discover a man who failed miserably in the middle of it all. Peter made a mess that he couldn't fix. But we discover the cross and the empty tomb were more than enough to bring forgiveness, restoration and freedom not only to Peter's life, but to ours as well.
As we continue building on Sacred Ground, we discover that God has every resource we will ever need. But even so, He invites us to partner with Him by making an investment in the process. In this message, we will discover the importance of our investment in our growth.
The journey to Sacred Ground isn't an easy one . If we are going to experience the fullness God has for us, we need to leave behind the comfort zone and answer His call to come up higher.
We naturally look at the timeline of history through the lens of our own life. History is what came before us and the future is what comes after us. What if we did more than just live for today? What if God were to use our lives as a prequel for someone else's story? Today, we will discover how God used Daniel's life to impact the king who released God's people into their destiny.
We are believing that God is going to break ground in lives this year. It is encouraging to hear the stories of how He is at work. We know that Jesus is able to do all things. But do you believe that He is able to work in your life? Today's message challenges us with that simple question: when it comes to YOUR life, is He able?
When we partner with the spirit of God to maintain the soil of our heart and mind, and keep the conditions favorable for the seed to grow. Then the overflow that comes from us will drop new seed on new ground all around us.
Continuing on with the parable of the sower, Jesus tells us that the third ground is one that is overwhelmed with thorns that are chocking out the plant. If we are going to see growth, we've got to deal with them. So, let's learn how to clear out the thorns.
As we continue the parable of the sower, today we look at the rocky ground. With rocky ground, something happens on the surface, but a root system is never established. We will examine what it takes to prepare the soil for good spiritual roots in our lives.
In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus told a story of four types of ground. Three of them prevented the work of God from happening in a person's life. Today, we look at the hardened path and discover what we need to do for that ground to be broken.
God is calling us to break ground this year. Hosea 10:12 tells us to break up fallow ground. But there are some destructive lies that are standing in the way of that happening: I can do it my way with my warriors. If we are going to break ground, we have to move from MY to YOUR.
There is a ground that has been trod over the course of our lives. That ground has within it unhealthy places that present problems. Over time, we try to deal with the symptoms, but in doing so, we just make the ground harder. This year, God has called us to break that ground and discover the true deliverance of the Lord.
As we recognize Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, it is important to know the value that God places on human life. We find in Jeremiah 1:5 how God feels about each one of us. We are known. We were formed. We have a purpose.
When Jericho falls, it would be natural to rush in and plunder the city and then move on with our lives. Not so fast. When God delivers Jericho into our hands, we to recognize that some things are an offering, some things are destroyed, and some things are redeemed. It is important that we continue to follow the Lord's lead even after the walls fall down.
Jericho must fall! God's battle plans to take down Jericho were anything but conventional. However, they are the perfect plans for taking down the walls we face. In today's message, we learn four valuable strategies for defeating the walls of Jericho in our own lives.
The walls of Jericho are imposing, daunting, overwhelming, intimidating. Our army of resources can't touch it. But it is no match for the Lord's armies! In today's message, we discover the help we have in heaven's armies as we face our Jericho walls.
When God calls us to obedience he will move ahead of us on our behalf. Obedience requires us to surrender to God's ways. Obedience defeats shame, and God activates our new identity. Obedience unlocks Gods promises for our lives.
In our quest to topple Jericho, it is important that we remember God's faithfulness that got us here. Because the memories will not only build our faith for the fight, they will also stand as a record of his goodness for generations to come. When the miraculous happens, God does all the work. All he asks of us to REMEMBER.
On this side of the Jordan, life isn't great, but it is familiar. On the other side is where the harvest is. It is where Jericho stands. We can't face Jericho until we cross the river. And to do that, we must fully commit to the crossing.
As we pursue the fall of Jericho, we sometimes step into a mess. When that happens, it feels hopeless and frustrating. But if we look closer, we'll discover that when God is involved, there is movement in the mess.
Joshua and Israel were on the brink of the promised land, but one thing stood in their way: Jericho. If the walls of Jericho were going to fall, it would require a courageous leader. We, too, need courage for the Jerichos we face!
As we conclude our study of the book of Hebrews, we find this simple prayer “May the God of peace equip you…” We all want to be equipped by God, but what does it mean to be equipped by the God of peace? Come discover the power of peace today!
A long time, God told Moses to build a Tabernacle with very detailed specificications. It turns out, the Tabernacle was a replica of the real thing in heaven, where Jesus serves as the High Priest. We'll find today that Heaven's High Priest brings a better ministry, a better covenant, and a better promise.
We can get so hung up looking back at what Jesus has done that we fail to see what He is doing right now. We look to past spiritual giants and marvel at how Jesus worked through them way back then. Here’s the thing: Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever. If we really believe that, then we should be expecting that He will move in our lives just as He did centuries ago with the heroes of faith.
Have you ever just had enough!?! You just can't take it anymore. I think God has had enough... of us feeling like we aren't enough. Feeling like we are bound to the pursuit of money and man's approval. It's time to say enough to all of that and allow God to be the One who is more than enough!
The struggles of life and faith can be all consuming. We get entrenched in our own problems or worries and often get stuck in those places. In today's text, the author of Hebrews calls us to get beyond ourselves and get into the trenches with others who are struggling. Because when there is a fire, we need firefighters on the scene!
When our faith is under fire, it can shake us to the core. When things around us crumble, feelings of fear, doubt, anxiety and worry start to creep in. Here in Hebrews 12, the author of Hebrews reminds us that we are part of an unshakable kingdom. And when we partner with that unshakable kingdom, we become an unshakable people.
Don't let the root of bitterness find a foothold in your life. Pray for those that have offended you. Be filled with God's love. Forgive.
Do we want to experience strength in the struggle? Then it's time we CONSIDER Jesus, what He has done for us, in us and through us. We need to allow ourselves to be CORRECTED by Him, to learn, to make changes as he empowers us. And we need to be CONFIDENT in Him. He is the one who gives us strength.
Walking with God is a great joy that also requires great work. It demands the same kind of endurance an athlete needs to run a long race. Along the way, we will encounter things in the way, including temptation and sin. But if we persevere even when our faith is under fire, we will someday utter the same words as the Apostle Paul did in 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
Church, listen as Pastor Darren from Sound Life Church in Orting teaches us Life Codes from Romans 12. He teaches us that we need to:
When we lean into these things, we're going to see God do radical things in our own lives and in our community.
Our Word of the Year is "Move Mountains." Mountains don't just move; they move by faith. But what do you do when your faith is faltering? What do you do when it is under attack? In this series, the author of Hebrews shows us what to do when our faith is under fire.
Get a glimpse into the lives of the missionaries we support around the world. And hear the testimonies of our Mexico mission team as they share what God did in their lives and in Ensenada while they were there.
What is God's truth on Life? Mankind is made in God's image, and that image we see biblically begins even before conception. This episode elaborates on The Science of Life, The Truth about Abortion, and The Christian Position where the bible compels us to stand on the side of life.
For centuries, priests offered the blood of animals as a sacrifice to God. This sacrifice was given to cover the sins of His people. When Jesus died on the cross, He presented to God a perfect and final sacrifice. By His blood we are not only made right with God, we are being made like Him.
As we continue our study of the Priesthood in the book of Hebrews, we will discover today that Jesus is set apart by the length of his Priesthood. It actually lasts forever. And because it lasts forever, we benefit from His permanent work, His perpetual intercession, and His perfect offering.
Picking up from last week's message, the author of Hebrews explains how Jesus is our High Priest, despite the fact he wasn't a Levite. Today, we learn about a mysterious Old Testament king named Melchizedek who reveals an amazing truth about Jesus.
As we continue our series, "New and Living Way," we will discover the numerous aspects of the priesthood of Jesus. In today's message, we see Jesus as a high priest who understands our weakness and helps us in times of need.
For centuries, the presence of God was available to one man, from one tribe, from one nation, for one day a year. That presence could be accessed only by going through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. Today we will discover that, we too, have been invited to go through the curtain into the presence of God.
The Word of God is living and active. It is not merely a message. It is not merely words on a page. When we apply it to our lives we experience an incredible transformation into the image of God.
We all want a legacy. But legacies are not self-made; they happen in the context of family. In today's message, we will find that God creates family and family creates legacy.
As we close out this series, we will take a look at what it means to rest in Jesus. When we stop trying to measure up to God, but instead receive His grace through faith, we will find a true rest like we've never experienced.
The trials of life will produce one of two things: a deepened trust in God or a hardened heart towards God. If we are going to stay the course, we will need to take care of our hearts, find encouragement from other believers, and hold tightly to our conviction that God is for us.
Imagine getting a notice that someone has paid off your house. That would be pretty awesome! For most people, that is the biggest debt they have. Question: would you keep making mortgage payments to the bank anyway? That would be crazy. Spiritually, Jesus has paid our debt in full. In this message, Pastor Brad invites us to stop trying to pay for something Jesus has already paid for.
We live in a world with a lot of finger pointing. Shoot, Adam pointed to Eve when he first sinned. What if we took that pointing and used it for good? We will discover today that just as the life of Moses pointed to Jesus, we are called to do the same.
Mankind has a problem--a problem that started when sin entered the world. That problem is death. Death not only affected our physical bodies; it also separated us from God. But thanks be to Jesus, He defeated the power of death!
Gods created mankind with the plan that we would have total dominion over the earth. Man's sin ruined everything and caused us to lose our claim on Gods purpose for us. Enter Jesus, the Son of God who came to earth as a man to redeem everything. We will find today that through Jesus, our capacity to walk in authority has been awakened and called upon to fulfill what God has always intended for mankind.
As we embark on a journey through Hebrews, we find a Jewish people who were considering going back to Judaism because it seemed more convenient and comfortable than following Jesus. So the author of Hebrews gives them a reminder: Jesus is above all. His name is greater than anything else in Heaven and on Earth. Don't count on anything or anyone else. Call upon the name of Jesus!
Wouldn't it be nice if mountains would just move out of our way? Our idea of moving a mountain is often staring at it long enough and hoping it will eventually move. Sometimes, however, God calls us to grab a shovel and start moving it one scoop at a time. In today's message, Pastor Brad explores the connection between faith and action.
When we want God to move our mountains, we cannot do it alone. We need to surround and to be surrounded by Godly wisdom and counsel to get to God's heart.
When dealing with mountains, sometimes we come face to face with a mountain we can't even see. These spiritual mountains are strongholds that must be removed if we are going to live in the life God has for us!
Jesus said that of we have faith and do not doubt, we can tell a mountain to be thrown into the sea. So what happens if life experience doubt causes doubt in our hearts and minds? We'll find today that apparently Jesus can still work with that. We may just need to cry out "I believe; help my unbelief!"
What are you supposed to do when you come upon an immovable object? We can try to outsmart it, change course, get discouraged. But Jesus gave us a better way. He told us to ask, seek, and knock.
Jesus said that we need faith like a mustard seed to move mountains. A mustard seed. Why not a grain of sand or something else very small? There must be something specific about this seed that Jesus wanted us to know. Because apparently, it is the key to moving mountains.
No "mountain" in your life is too big for God. Nothing is too hard, too stuck or too broken for God to move.
Weve probably seen a sigh on a street corner that reads, "the end is near." Knowing the end is near and being ready for it are two different things. We need to know more than what we are waiting for; we need to know how to wait for it.
We need to be alert for false teaching that will lead us from God's truth. We need to know the truth so we can identify the lies. We need to pray for leaders so that they will stay on the path of truth.
Why gold, frankincense and myrhh? Listen as Pastor Brad explains the significance of each gift that the wisemen brought to Jesus. When we are coming to Jesus, we are coming to our King, our God and our Savior.
What about Joseph? Listen as Pastor Brad gives insight on Joseph's life as he hears the news about Mary's pregnancy by the Holy Spirit.
We get to decide our attitude in every situation, every circumstance. What will we choose? Will we choose to be thankful? Listen as Pastor Karie gives us examples of a heart of gratitude in every circumstance: Daniel, Joshua, Jonah, Paul and Silas. God hears us when we praise Him.
Listen as Pastor Brad shares the truth about what God says about money. And as he teaches us about money's purpose and its position.
"God doesn't care if we have stuff; He cares if stuff has us."
The world might encourage us to "settle" or to "run" as a solution to difficulties in marriage. But a healthy marriage only happens when we commit to continual building.
What is our outlook--AND--does it need a reset? Is it a PROBLEM-centered outlook or a PROMISE-centered outlook? When we align with the way of God, we are aligning with the favor of God.
What do we do when our two worlds collide--being a citizen of heaven; being citizen of the United States of America?
