The Journey is your community; a place to connect and share your passion for running, to create authentic relationships, to inspire and be inspired and to be cheered by our global team of runners.
We believe that running is much more than a competitive sport, where what matters is being fast or the first. We intend to bring the stories, adventures, the best tips, the best challenges that will make you a better athlete and a better person.
From your first step in a running shoe, to your last step in an ultramarathon, we are here for you.
Connected by breath, and the pain of refusing to quit

Seb is, without a doubt, the new kid on the block and represents the future of our sport.
A 16-year-old ultrarunner who has already run more than 20 ultrarunning races and has some fantastic stories to share, such as running the Rim to Rim at the Grand Canyon with Max King.
Looking to inspire other kids to run, every time Seb goes out, his main goal is to finish the race and to have fun on the trails.
Hope you like this conversation, as we cover topics like motivation, training plan, how to react when something goes wrong, and school x running balance.

For the first chapter, we invited Dylan Scott, the workout jukebox.
Someone who shows up to train, every day, sometimes, more than just once, with an amazing training ethic and a purpose in mind: crafting the best version of Dylan.
Here is already two secrets that he shared:
1- there is no reason to compare yourself with others and
2- it is ok to stop training if you feel that you are not in the mood or in the best shape.
We recorded this conversation after Dylan's attemp to beat the world record of the most chest-to-ground burpees in one hour. Crazy, right?
It was really an honor to count on Dylan to be our first guest and we are really excited to share our conversation with you, knowing that after listening, you might feel that you want to go out feeling pumped and inspired.
Before you go, please, don’t forget to support the podcast by following or even sharing with a fellow trail running friend! Give us your feedback or share your story with us! We may well invite you to share your running journey with the community.
Hope you like this episode...and never forget that, wherever you are, we got your back! Let’s go!

As amateur runners, we are constantly receiving information about the new running shoes, the top-of-the-range watch, an ultra-light backpack, and the latest news on nutrition. On the other hand, we think that to overcome a challenge, the strategy is...go hard, or go home.
This is clearly not the case of one of the most successful ultrarunners. From having the record for the southbound fastest known time in the Appalachian Trail to being the athlete with the most number of wins in 100-mile races, our guest Karl Meltzer, the SpeedGoat, counts already with more than 20 years of experience and, today with 54 years old continues to show up and give his best. No focus on the numbers, no data, just a Casio watch and many hours spent in the mountains. This is the secret sauce of someone who has a “Listen to your body mindset”, takes a very simple and, for many, old school approach to life and to sports but that, in the end, this makes Karl one of the legendary ultrarunners. In this conversation, we talk about how Karl trains, his race nutrition, how he deals with his athletes and how can runners prepare physically and mentally to do an ultradistance race.
You can also watch our conversation on Youtube.
Team, if you are looking for inspiration to start running ultrarunning races, Karl is your go-to person. Hope you can then feel inspired to put your shoes on, go out knowing that…we got your back.
Team, sit…relax…and may the journey begin…. ---- NEW TO THE JOURNEY ENDURANCE CLUB?

After listening to the one and only Rickey Gates, for this second conversation, the level of inspiration remains very high, as we will have the honor of counting with the presence of the HillyGoat, Hillary Allen.
Hillary is an endurance runner and a science nerd. A courageous person who is always smiling. Some of you might know her because of the accident in 2017, where she fell 150 feet boucing off the mountain on the way she believed was her death.
After telling she might never run again, 11 months later, she was back. Actually, she is back…stronger. Hillary recently launched her book “Out and Back” and now she is more than ready to write new chapters on her story. In this conversation, we talk about purpose, how to train for an ultra distance race, about how Hillary wants to be defined as a person and athlete and what can we expect from her in the future. Lots of good insights coming from this always with positive energy and passionate person why is now a pleasure to share this with you.
You can also watch our conversation on Youtube. Our community was grateful to have the chance to talk with such an inspiring person. Respect!
Hope you like it, be ready to take some notes but for now…sit, relax and enjoy.

Since we are into stories and inspiration we decided to launch The journey Talks where we invite ultrarunners to share their passion, their purpose, to talk about their adventures, training, their journey. Always with the mission of supporting your journey.
And, team, let me tell, we start big with, the one and only, Rickey Gates. An ultra-runner, writer and photographer with lots of experience. Someone for whom, running is an art, something that now inspires him on his new projects and adventures, where we can see his love for endurance and get to know more about his storytelling, writing, design and photography skills.
You may have heard about this really inspiring and empathetic person because of two of his main adventures, “TransAmericana”, where he crossed the US from South Carolina to San Francisco and “Every Single Street” where he ran every single street of San Francisco. Please, go check these videos.
On this conversation, we had the chance to know a very curious-driven person who doesn’t need competition to stay motivated. We talk about the reason why he runs, how rickey normally trains, the importance of recovery, and also had the chance to hear about his future endeavours.
Really enjoyed this first conversation with such an amazing person, hoping that, after listening to it, you are inspired enough to put your shoes on and go. We got your back.
