Taryn studied under a master trainer in Tofino BC and has always had a natural gift with animals. This led her to begin her training and rehabilitating dogs professionally in 2011. She has helped many of Jules the Doula’s clients and those who have worked with her have had nothing but positive results.

Michelle is a founding member and Executive Director of Women’s Health Innovations of Arizona a licensed outpatient treatment center specializing Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. She serves on Arizona Department of Health Services Maternal Mental Health Taskforce and Maternal Health Steering Committee. Michelle has been a member of Postpartum Support International since 2002 and serves as a state coordinator, national trainer, and subject matter expert. Michelle also served as Board President for PSI’s Arizona Chapter. Michelle is a founding member and served as Vice President of the Arizona Postpartum Wellness Coalition.

Michelle received her master’s degree from the University of Arizona in Rehabilitation Counseling and has been practicing since 1995. Michelle has worked in the non-profit arena and in private practice serving women and families since then. She has extensive training in treating trauma and is EMDR trained.
