Stasia was born a musician! There isn’t a bone in her body that doesn’t feel sound, and she can turn anything into a beat or mix! Not only is she a DJ, she also plays the piano, guitar, and produces beats. With her background, she loves to mix all genres – there really isn’t a style of music that she isn’t comfortable with. What makes her shine on our team: Motivation.
Anastasia is originally from Russia and moved to the US when she was 10.She has a Bachelor’s degree from the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality in Entertainment Management and a Minor in Music. She’s a foodie and loves going out to try new foods! Stasia is not only an amazing DJ, but is also our Promotional and Booking Assistant!

Fun Question! There are a lot of things I love about what I do. But I think above all I love that I get to dedicate my life to music. I think I would love doing anything that has to do with music. It's a cherry on top that I get to be a part of some of the happiest, most exciting moments in our clients' lives!

Jennie has worked in the Orlando Wedding industry for over 15 years. From photography to wedding planning to DJing, there’s nothing in the events world that this dynamic lady hasn’t seen! She’s been with Our DJ Rocks since 2016, and now works as both the Sales Manager, is one of the top DJs on the all-female roster and is the Vice President of the Central Florida Wedding Association.
She’s loved music since she was a little girl, and grew up singing in choirs and playing in bands. While weddings are her favorite types of events to DJ, Jennie lives for large social and corporate events where she can really let her mixing talents shine. Her specialties include anything with a Latin flair, 80’s and 90’s, Hip Hop, Top 40, and EDM.

Hey friends - our entertainment brands have recently hit the most giant financial milestone in business that every business owner has ever dreamed of. And with that has come a lot of reflection - how in the world did I get here. You all call me this all the time and sometimes I seriously don't know how to answer it. The thing is… I can do 90s, 2000s, freestyle... On don't get me started on mep mep mep mep mep, but what if the event took a turn and got me too far into a subculture genre that I didn't know.

We are all creatives. It’s imperative that we understand what stifles our creativity is what draws our clients to us to begin with. Being overwhelmed, high levels of stress and not having enough time for mindfulness are just a few things that stifle our creativity.
One of the biggest mistakes I've made in crippling my ability to perform at peak levels is when I event managed, prepped, loaded in for and performed 4 weddings a weekend, 49+ weekends a year, I was not able to perform at the same level as if I did the same for 1 wedding.
That being said, expenses are not flexible, so understanding the delicate balance of scheduling your priorities and life balance should be something you consider when setting the prices for your services and budgeting life for a thriving and successful creative.

Summer was really important for me to take some time - to really reflect and refocus. My dad was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and last March his organs were failing and his heart decreased to 5%. I stayed in the hospital with him for 30 days and I then brought him home to help bring him back to a decent health.
During that time we had so many deep conversations about life. 6 months later I got to share a dinner date night over oysters with him. (One of my fav things as some of you know.) And I couldn’t help but just hit record.
Not many people can say they have these conversations with their parents, let alone record to come back to. And regardless that it was NOT recorded with a Shure mic, in my studio, OR the fact that you can hear the shucking of the oysters in the background, THIS is real, it’s raw and it’s authentic.
Every episode has been my favorite, but this one is attached to the strings of my heart.

My thought is, opening up your life to perspective. There’s this phrase that a friend of mine JW mentioned to me and it completely made me stop in my tracks. It is that NOTHING in life is a coincidence, it’s all about DIVINE appointments.
JW has been passionate about music since he was 4 years old and his dad gave him a cassette tape and multiple boom boxes that he kept blowing the speakers out of. Growing up in a house filled with music, JW learned to love the music that was playing every night of the week. JW is a second-generation entertainer and the proud son of one of Orlando's own - Bob Jaeger.
He served in the US Army for 3 years. He was a member of the USO touring band “USA Express” deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan to perform for thousands of US troops With Toby Keith, Chris Young. He then served in the 82nd Airborne Division “All American Band” stationed at Fort Bragg, NC.

This past year was BY FAR our most challenging year; emotionally, strategically, physically, spiritually - I know you will all agree. We had a very strong start in the first quarter and I was on track to surpass one of the biggest goals of my career as a small business owner. Then came that fateful day in March. I had the daunting task of figuring out how to survive. No income and a team of 30 relying on me for guidance, a family whose daily life was changing, over 400+ brides who were angry, rightfully so, and a community and industry of people who everyone wanted answers from, but who had never been through this before, so there wasn’t an SOP for this. LIke - this wasn't the vibe today people. I did NOT sign up for this.
One of the people who has not only been there since day one, but was also there in the late night hours to help and also gain perspective was Tamuel Cowart. She is a POWERHOUSE. She is intelligent and creative and one of the very first people I met in this industry. Aside from founding RW Events and RW Style, she also runs two amazing venues here in Orlando. There’s a saying I found on IG that goes, “I am the woman you don't find twice” and SHE is that woman. Let’s dive in with Tamuel.

We officially launched the Our DJ Rocks “DJ University” training program which in the last 12 months we have revamped, updated and are about to launch an online digital version. We managed 800-900 events this year, and I wore all the hats - Director of Sales + Marketing, CEO, and DJ of over 50 of my own events I hit TWO entrepreneurial milestones: making it to $1mil in sales, and being able to finally offer health insurance to our team.
So today, I’ve brought on special guests Dawson High. If you don’t know him, Dawson starting DJing when he was 10, and was handling his own ish by the time he was 13. Some call him baby goat, some call him DJ Dawson High, I call him D. This kid has blown me out of the water with the way he sets his mind to a project and then makes it happen. This year alone he was the on-stage DJ for Midwest DJs Live and is going to be a performing artist for DJ Collective. I’m so excited that he’s joining me today, so we can discuss the ins and outs of bringing things to life when you set your mind to it.
