Two of the biggest driving forces in starting this Podcast was to share my journey over the last years in recovering from Stage 3 Breast Cancer. I was diagnosed in December 2016, 2 months after my 39th birthday.
Second, was to have a space where other women can share their stories and journey without judgement and they will get support and love. I wanted to create a huge Girlfriend circle because I’ve spoken to so many women, especially women of colour who crave this type of community so here we are. We all want that girlfriend or girlfriends that we just bare our inner most thoughts with and not be judged or fear they are going to spread it. You might have girldfriends like that in your life already and that’s fantastic but for those of you that need that, this space is for you. You will feel safe here. You will feel loved here. You will feel supported here. You will feel valued here. You will be inspired here. You can be honest here and by the grace of God, you will find a friend here!
We all have a story to tell and in this space, you can do just that. As you heard in the intro, I’ll get the ball rolling by sharing my story through Cancer and other illnesses and how God has healed me and now I am healthy, restored and thriving! Listen, we are going to have a great time getting to know each other. I look forward to sharing with you because I know, you got my back, like I have yours.
