If you're in your early twenties and have absolutely no clue what you're doing - welcome to the club. This episode is for you!

We explore how our relationship to our parents changed (and are changing still) and give you insight into our financial status (it's not pretty, let us tell you). While we've gained tons of freedom over the past few years and we truly appreciate the lifestyle we are living, there are definitely some hick ups along the way.

Like, what's up with all these expectations to just know things we've never even learned about? And why are we receiving fines for messing up when money is the one thing we DON'T have???!!!

Anyways, if you feel lost, we unfortunately don't have any tips for you but what we CAN give you is a community that understands you;)

We finally did the thing and got our coach Henry Bloodworth (or HB) in front of the mic. After working (and living) together for the past five months he definitely had some things to say. Get ready for a fun interview and all the backstory of how we met Henry (we masterminded that thing), what impression he had of us and how he assessed our windsurfing skills.

Much talk about mental breakdowns and tantrums too because you just KNOW emotions are running high in this field of work. We definitely found out some infos we didn't know before (and so did Henry) which made this a fun and bonding experience. Tune in and listen to the behind the scenes of our coaching team!

Getting lost in the numbers game of tracking your metrics to achieve a high performance lifestyle can be tricky. It can be especially taxing on your mental health. To love yourself and constantly improve yourself is kind of a paradox in itself but in this episode we break down how we try to achieve that balance.

We definitely haven't figured it all out and you won't find tips in this episode but to talk about it and to be aware of the importance of finding self love and grace while trying to improve yourself is half of the battle won.

If you have tips on this topic, we'd LOVE to hear it:)

As professional and olympic windsurfers that are competing almost once a month nervousness is a sensation we have dealt with over and over again. It’s not an inherently pleasant feeling to experience but if you look deeper into it, it can actually help you perform better.

We discuss our own relationship to being nervous and give tips on how we deal with it. Hopefully this can be helpful to you in case you struggle with feeling overly nervous wether that be during exam week or competition week:)

Please be kind and hold back any judgement. Questions are always welcome but any kind of hate is absolutely not:)

as a society we are extremely fat phobic. we've grown up being told that fat is unhealthy and ugly and gross. since gaining weight as professional athletes we can confirm that fat is not inherently negative and that it can actually aid our performance to a certain degree.

if you feel like you need to have abs and be a size zero to be fit and healthy, you should definitely listen to this episode because that thought train is SO last decade.

We are privileged, there’s no doubt about that. In this episode we dissect our understanding of privilege and how we used to act towards it. It’s always been our intention to do good in the world and we had to learn how to properly do that.

We talk about feeling guilty about our privilege and how that doesn’t help at ALL. With tips on how to use your privilege for good, we want to encourage you to educate yourself and start looking into how you can leave the world a better place than you entered it:)

We are no professionals in this topic and any feedback or comments are very welcomed! Let us know your thoughts by sending an email to worldofwindsurfgirls@gmail.com or through the DM’s on instagram @worldofwindsurfgirls.

(not so) fun rejection stories sprinkled with a little science makes an entertaining episode. also, we want to hear YOUR rejection stories (whether you've done it or had it done to you). email us at worldofwindsurfgirls@gmail.com

We're sure you've heard about the pay gap between genders. but what about the orgasm gap? yep it's real. women don't orgasm half as much during sex!

In this episode we chat about female pleasure and how it is neglected. We spill our own experiences with masturbating and give tips on how you can do it better. The over-sexualization of women in today's society is also something we are very passionate about. We talk facts and sprinkle our own perspectives on that topic too.

No taboos in this episode, it's personal, it's raw and it's FUCKING IMPORTANT we finally speak about it. Sit down, enjoy and most importantly: listen!

It was such a pleasure to chat with Matt Barton, one of the pioneers in the new Olympic Windsurfing Class iQ Foil. But don't worry, we swayed from the windsurf topic rather quickly and got more into topics such as life as an extroverted introvert, mental health and of course dating and relationships. We also interviewed Matt to be the future WOW husband and he ticks every box:) What that means, we'll see in the future. Get ready for an episode filled with (uncontrollable) laughter, juicy revelations and lots of inspirational input from Matt's side.

Maciek Rutkowski is a windsurfer, youtuber, podcaster and has also released a couple rap songs. We head the pleasure to interview him on his path from novice to pro athlete and were allowed a glimpse into his perspectives on women in sports, his relationship to money, his recipe for success and his almost rap career.

Oh and of course, you don't want to miss out on the diss track he free-styled about WOW on the episode. Did our feelings get hurt? absolutely. are we carrying this with grace and pride (because most of what he said is very true)? also yes. Credit to Maciek for his creative talent and credit to us that we didn't cry:)

At this point we don't think there's ANYTHING left 'taboo' in our lives and we love it this way. Why be embarrassed about topics we all talk and think about daily?

Grab a bag of popcorn and enjoy this golden nugget of wisdom, comedy and trash talk:)

TRIGGER WARNING!

-this episode contains discussions about eating disorders and sexual assault. if you are not comfortable with such topics, skip this episode. We are not professionals and only retell our stories. if you can relate to any of these issues, please seek help from a professional.-

We get to know Elena Sandera on all levels in this episode. This girl doesn't do anything half assed. Before diving head first into her olympic windsurfing journey, she was a med student and almost started playing the violin professionally. She also had quite the career in ballet. Tune in to hear her mindset and how she achieves all those high goals she sets for herself.

We also talk about two topics that have shaped her into the person she is today. We touch shortly on her anorexia recovery and on how that illness is glorified in todays society. For the first time ever, Elena also speaks out about her sexual assault that happened a couple years ago. She recounts the story and emphasises the importance of consent.

You won't want to miss this episode! It's a mix of laughter, heart to heart and honest conversation.

The fact that this topic is still a taboo in many countries does not sit well with us. That's why we take a deep dive into our own personal relationship with our periods and discuss how the female cycle affects professional athletes in their training. And we don't just talk about that one week where we bleed. The period is a four week cycle and in every phase, the hormones affect us differently and therefore we also need to adjust our trainings.

So get ready for some personal stories, some science background and our recommendations on how to utilise your period to your benefit:)

it’s not easy to date as a pro athlete. you’re never home so it’s hard to find anyone from that area. also, we’re not trying to mix work and pleasure which also cancels out the options to date in the windsurfing industry.

we are taking a deep dive into our past relationships and what we’ve learnt from them. find out what’s happening in our current relationships (or lack there of lol) and our opinion on dating.
