Join me each week as a friend, and I “pour it out” over coffee. You can expect to hear stories, hearts shared, and even some tips and tricks for a more fruitful and fun life! And look forward to hearing the heart of a local pastor once a month. My heart is that you will grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair, and leave inspired. This is SUCH a special one! I got to sit down and record with Brooklyn Brown, who is 14, and she shared her story of adoption. This is the first time I've gotten to have someone so young on the podcast, and I loved hearing her heart and perspective of God's faithfulness in her life. I pray it blesses you and encourages you. This week on the podcast we have my sweet friend, Crystal. She shares her story, how she grew up in a Christian home, but didn't have a strong relationship with the Lord...and later came to know Jesus for herself, and her journey with Him. That whole journey of getting to know Him deeply prepared her for when her world dramatically changed in July 2021. She shares about that, and how things have been since. Crystal is real and honest and I'm so grateful for how she shares her heart so beautifully. I promise this one will bless you, encourage you, and bring you closer the Jesus. Last Thursday was National Day of Prayer. Here in Chillicothe, we have a gathering at noon on our Courthouse Steps, where we pray together as a community. We also have a speaker most years. Well, this year, we had three students from three different public schools who shared what God is doing in their schools. I was able to get the audio file (Thanks Dan Ramey with Litter Media) and share it with you today.
Today you get to hear from Jack Oyer, Norah Myers, and Kensley Messer, as they share what the Lord is doing in them and in their schools. The three of them are all in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), led by Brian Grigsby, and it's incredible to hear how the Lord is using them to truly be the light and share about His goodness.
I pray that as you listen, you are encouraged to know that public schools are not a lost cause. The Lord is raising up bold leaders in the next generation to speak truth and show His love. He is SO faithful!
Grab a cup of coffee or your favorite drink and join me as we hear three amazing students pour out their hearts!

I just had the opportunity to finally sit down and talk to Aubrie for the first time about a month ago. We were chatting about National Day of Prayer and when we finished I said "well tell me about yourself, what's your story?" She sat there and opened up so vulnerably and shared her story with me and I looked at her and said "PLEASE come share that on my podcast!" So here she is today, sharing how the Lord not only set her free, but then used the very thing that had held her in captivity to be the catalyst to launch her into more ministry. He. Is. SO. Faithful! This conversation is real, authentic, raw, and SO good. I'm so grateful for her vulnerability and heart, and I pray it encourages you and points you closer to Jesus. This month's pastor's wife I got to chat with is my sweet friend, Rachel Hines. Today, Rachel shares a bit about the season she is in currently...walking through breast cancer. I told her, we often hear from people when they have overcome cancer, but rarely do people share when they are in the middle of it. She talks about how she has found the Lord to be faithful, how He has shown her that He truly holds all of her life together, in every season, and how different life is when we view things from an eternal perspective. This conversation is rich, filled with so much wisdom and encouragement. I pray you are so blessed as you listen and that you are drawn closer to Jesus through it.

I recorded this podcast mid December. I have gone to post it a good 5-6 times, but always, I felt the Lord say, WAIT. This week, I finally felt Him say it was time to share, and I am SO EXCITED to do so. This conversation is with my sweet friend, Dina Dozer. She is a rare treasure in the world, and has a heart of actual gold I think! Dina shares her story of how worship became such a big part of her life, and it is beautiful! I pray you are so very blessed by it, and that you are drawn closer to the Lord through it.
Dina and her sweet family moved to Texas, and we miss them like crazy, so hearing her share blessed me so much, and I pray the same happens for you. Grab a cup of coffee or your favorite drink and join us as we pour it out!

Today's episode is SO FUN! I got talk to my girl Felicia Kerney about all things law, which is SO exciting for me! She is a defense attorney in Texas, but she was raised here in Chillicothe, so her roots are deep here. One of my most favorite traditions each year is getting to talk with her over Christmas break and hear all of the stories from work. She shares some of that experience in this conversation and it is fascinating! I'm so grateful for the way the Lord places His people all around in jobs where we are able to offer hope to people who need it the most, and that is definitely the case with Felicia. She is fun, yall. This is a good one and you will love it. Grab a cup of coffee or your favorite drink and join us as we pour it out!

This is a special "part two" with Nicki Pfeifer. I am SO excited for you to hear this! Nicki shares about the prophetic...which at it's simplest is hearing from God and speaking to His people. She has such a gift of doing it, and in this conversation she does a little background of what it means and what it looks like, as well as shares some stories.
The prophetic is something that is so misunderstood, and my prayer is that as you listen to this conversation, you'll discover what a beautiful and powerful gift it is. It's something I am super passionate about as well, and so this one is very special to me.
I pray this one will challenge you, encourage you, and leave you wanting to know more. I also pray it will lead you to signing up for her Fire School, which is where she does a deep dive into the prophetic and trains and equips you to hear from God and speak to His people!

This year, I'm doing something just a little different, and I'm going to sit down with some local pastors' wives in the area. I am SO excited for you to hear from them, because they are all so amazing! First up, we have my pastor, Nicki Pfeifer. Goodness gracious. Her story is one of my favorites. It is one that tells about the Lord stepping in and pulling her from the deep pit of depression, healing and restoring her, and completely transforming her life. You do NOT want to miss it. I have heard her share her story several times over the years, and it always, ALWAYS leaves me in awe of how good, faithful, and powerful our God is. Get ready...this one will mark you!

Today's episode is one that was actually recorded back in AUGUST. Crazy, right? I've been so excited for you to hear it, and I'm so glad it's finally the right time! This conversation with my friend, Marsha Moore, is one about the power of forgiveness and what it looks like to live a life of obedience and surrender. This one is sweet and special. Join Ciara Berry and I as we talk about finding Jesus for yourself when you're raised in ministry. Whether you are a PK like her or just someone who was raised in church, I think this is an important conversation to hear what it's like to find Jesus and follow Him on your own. Today's podcast is incredibly special to me, bc it's so real and raw and powerful. Oh my goodness. Melissa shares her story with us and wow. She talks about her life in addiction, and how the Lord brought her out of it, and it's so full of hope and redemption. I have so much to say, and am also speechless, but I know you will be blessed by it.
Logistically, I want to let you know that this one was recorded at her home with her two precious little girls. It's a little loud and there's a lot of sweet little voices and lots of things happening in the background, but it does not take away from the story she shares. One of the thing I pray for my podcast is that it is authentic, and this is real life at it's best! I'm so thankful for the way she powers through and tells her story while wrangling them!
Also, Melissa shares a lot of detail about her life before she knew Jesus, and so I just want to give a heads up that if you typically listen with your kiddos around, you may want to wait until they're in bed or you are able to listen alone.

GUESS WHAT?! Today, my podcast hit over 5k plays!!! That may not seem like a big deal to you, but for someone who is just starting out with this thing, it's HUGE and I am EXCITED!!! To celebrate, I'm sharing a conversation from April 2022 with my husband, Randray. This was a very off the cuff, spontaneous conversation, that took place while we were playing around with learning how to record a podcast. Randray is and has always been my biggest fan, and he sat down that night and said, "ok let's try this thing." And so we did. Pastor Matt Steinbrook is on the podcast today, and it is SUCH a special conversation. When I first asked Matt to be on the podcast, his response was, "Are you sure? Do you know my story?" He shared it with me and I was blown away. YES, I wanted him on, and YES I wanted him to share it with you all...and he did, humbly and graciously. His story is one of restoration, redemption, and grace. It is a story of how the enemy came in and tried to steal, kill, and destroy, but the Lord stepped in and brought healing instead. I pray you are so encouraged by his testimony and are reminded of how faithful our God is. He is mighty to save, and He loves you so much. Grab a drink and join us as we pour it out!

Oh I am SO EXCITED for this one! I asked people to send me a clip about what prayer means to them, and in this episode we hear them all! I start off sharing one of my greatest experiences with prayer and my greatest disappointment with it. And then, I pass the mic and you get to hear from some people I love dearly and it is SO FUN! Gosh. I love this episode a WHOLE lot. Grab a drink, pull up a chair, and join me as we all pour it out!
If you were someone who shared in today's episode, THANK YOU! What a joy to hear so many different perspectives!

Pastor Michael Culp joins me today on the podcast, and it's a really special one. When I tell you the enemy fought HARD to try and stop us recording this, I'm not exaggerating one bit! I have met Michael before and chatted here and there, but this was the first real conversation we've had...and it's such a good one. He is so genuine and kind, and has a heart for the Lord, His Word, and His people. I pray that the Lord uses this conversation to bless you, encourage you, and remind you of His faithfulness. He tells a story of what happened when his little boy got sick and needed a miracle, and it's so powerful. Be reminded that the Lord still works miracles, and He is so faithful. May your faith be stirred, your hope be renewed, and may you believe even more in His great Name! Grab something to drink and join us as we pour it out!

Today kicks off a little mini "series" with my partners. Three local business partner with me in different ways, and I wanted to take some time to chat with the owner of each one to hear their story behind the business. First up, we have Trent Fannin from Rōst Coffee. I honestly thought I knew most of this story, but I quickly found out I was so wrong. Hear Trent's story of how he went from hating coffee to being passionate about brewing the best of the best, and how the Lord moved he and his family to Chillicothe, Ohio, to invest in our community. His heart is amazing and his story is so encouraging. I hope you love it and are inspired to dream big! Grab a cup of coffee (preferably from Rōst) and join us as we pour it out today!

Pastor Matt Kysor, from Centerpoint Church, is on the podcast today! It was such a fun conversation. He's someone I've known of for so long, but this was the first time we had ever sat down and had a conversation...and it was SO good! We talk about all the things, but my favorites for sure were getting to hear his heart for our community, and also his story about his miracle son. What a reminder that our God is a Healer, and is good and faithful...always! Grab a cup of coffee and join us as we pour it out!

The holidays are so full of joy and cheer...most of the time. But when grief hits, you're left feeling the ache of missing the ones you love, and it can be so, so hard. On today's episode, I sit down with my dear, dear friend, Jeannette VanBuskirk, and hear her heart about this. She shares her story and offers some hope and encouragement to the rest of us. If you are someone who is hurting this holiday season, you will be blessed. If you are someone who is wanting to help and love someone who is hurting well, you will be blessed. This one is so special, and I hope and pray that whatever situation you find yourself in, you will be encouraged by her words.

Pastor Ryan Bash, from Brookside, is on the podcast today! I cannot express how much I LOVED this conversation! We talked about a little of everything, and it was so much fun. I promise you'll be encouraged by him, and will feel like you've had coffee with a good friend by the end. This was the first real conversation I've had with him, and that's exactly how I felt! Grab a cup of coffee (or hot chocolate if you're like him) and enjoy!

I've always felt like singleness was one of those taboo subjects. Most people don't talk about it, but I think it's something that needs to be talked about...especially in this holiday season. And, I think I have one of the best people to talk about it with us today! My dear, dear friend, Lauren, shares her heart about her years of singleness...the ways the Lord was present and faithful during them, and how she was able to lean in so close to Him throughout them. She shares some profound wisdom in this episode, and I think it will be helpful to those who are in a season of singleness and waiting, as well as those of us who are not. I hope and pray it opens our eyes and helps us to be more intentional with the single friends and family we have...during this time and always. Grab a cup of coffee and join us as we pour it out!

In the last episode, Chloe and I alluded to a crazy kayaking story. Well...here it is! Friendship is deep and hard and beautiful...but it's also SO MUCH FUN! Hope you all enjoy this episode filled with laughs as we reminisce and chat about one of the most intense, crazy days we've ever experienced. And just know...those times that you say "one day we'll laugh about this"...the day really comes. It's here. And I hope you laugh with us. It is, after all, the best medicine!

I have said it a million times, Chloe is the person who has taught me the most about friendship over the years. In today's podcast, we do a deep dive into our friendship---the good, bad, and ugly. We share about what it looks like to fight for relationships, how to show up for the people who matter, and how keeping Jesus at the center of it all means and matters the most. It's always a blast to have her record with me, and I hope and pray you enjoy this episode!

My good friend Tiffany joined me for this week's episode of the podcast. Tiff is a wealth of wisdom and knowledge about so many things, especially when it comes to stewarding a home and family well. This was a fun one, as she shared some of her wisdom with us, as well as some practical tips to help us out. She also shares a bit of her story, and talks about what the Lord is teaching her in this season. It's fun and helpful, but also takes a dive into the deep end just a bit, bc when we are together, we can't not go there. I hope you enjoy this one...and that it blesses you!

This week on the podcast, I have my dear friend Andrea Cahoon. This conversation is one that I have looked forward to having for three years. Back when I first thought about doing a podcast, she was someone I thought of to share her story, and when I started planning this time around, her name was the first on my list. Andrea has been waiting for healing literally since birth, and in this episode she shares how she has maintained her faith in the waiting, and how she has come to know Jesus in a deeper way because of her absolute dependence on Him. I had high hopes for this episode, but believe me when I say it FAR exceeded my expectations. I hope it encourages you, and to those of you who may be weary in the waiting, I pray the Lord uses it to give you fresh hope!
