A few weeks back Kanye West dropped his latest Hip Hop project "Donda" and hit all 20 of the top spots on Billboard. It created a uproar in the gospel music community. This raised a question, what is the gospel music industry and should those wanting to offer ministry participate in this industry in a traditional way? The crew deconstructed this idea and also discussed some of the push back that early christian artist received when trying to push the envelop with their creativity and use of different genres of music.
In this episode the crew explored the most recent election in the Congressional Black Caucus and what it showed us about the competition of the old and new, young and old, & strength and wisdom that exists in all institutions. This ultimately led us into a conversation about Honor and its vital importance for the success of the generations.
This week, the crew started a new apologetic conversation about the divide when it pertains to the supernatural in today's church. When the question is asked, "Why is there no unity in the Church?" The governing beliefs concerning this area is a major factor. Are the gifts in operation for today? What is the argument for those that believe it has ceased? If there are gifts for today, are they being handled properly by those that believe that continued (aka the charismatic church) or is it witchcraft and manipulation? We start to tackle this conversation with a clean opening.

Is it all a mess or does it have some relevance and usefulness? Are we tired of the pandering or is it genius? Has Identity politics done more to help disenfranchised segments of society? Has identity politics made the public politically blind? Unroll the Scroll (40:11) What’s Up With The Tithe? Pt.1 A Polarizing issue in today’s church is the Practice of Tithing. This week, the crew did the unthinkable and took a critical look at tithing in its modern application in comparison to its biblical predecessor. In this first build, the different types of tithes were expounded on and we wrestled with what kind of tithe can really apply in the local church. We talk about it all… well we started to anyway!
