Why does it seem like most of the mainstream male role models these days fall into the category of "toxic"? Is the "feminization" of society to blame?
In the first episode of season 3, William J. Edwards came through to discuss.

THIS WEEK IN CANADA: Loblaws' CEO Galen Weston, on the advice of consultants, received a 14% raise across his two companies in 2022. The Supreme Court of Canada declines to hear an appeal on a case related to British Columbia's private surgery ban. Finally, Toronto's by-election is coming this summer so mark your calendar!
Welcome to a new segment of the podcast called THIS WEEK IN CANADA.
In today's episode, I discuss research that counters the recently updated national alcoholic consumption guidelines. The federal government recently released its 2023 budget with some notable commitments put on the back burner (again). Finally, I touch on how the Liberal government is polling this week.
Healthcare in Ontario is about to get a lot worse. The Ford government announced this week it’s new plan for public healthcare, which involves the outsourcing of surgeries to private, for-profit clinics.
There is a lot to criticize about the decision — especially with the government sitting on a surplus in the budget that could have been used to improve the crumbling system we already have.
Is it time for a complete change to our system altogether, or should we stick with the status quo?

Sexual liberation is something more widely celebrated in the West, but does it ever go too far? Sany and I discuss how we think being more sexually free has impacted modern society, from complicating relationships to encouraging much-needed cultural developments.
We'll probably revisit this topic as an important part of the conversation had to be cut out due to technical difficulties.

In this episode, I have a real conversation about why (at the moment) I have no intention of creating a future in Canada. There are a lot of positives to being here, and especially in having a Canadian passport. But our governments and corporate monopolies are majorly screwing the future up for the youth.
I don’t often hear people talking about this, so I wanted to use this platform to discuss some of the reasons why I think it’s going to be increasingly more difficult to persuade the youth to want to stay here.

It’s getting to that time of year again… The end of a year always seems to illicit two reactions from people. On one hand, some like to reflect and rest. On the other, some are reinvigorated to work hard and get as much done as possible ahead of the new year.
If you’re in the latter group with me, this podcast episode is for you. These are a few tips I follow to keep myself progressing forward without burning out. Enjoy.

Some of y’all need to BFFR. In this episode, I explain why the Canadian government’s use of the Emergencies Act was controversial — and how those who support a government breaking the law are contributing to bigger systemic issues in this country. I understand that the participants in the “Freedom Convoy” have a lot of people against them. But, as it comes to Canadian rights, the decisions used to affect them can have consequences on protests in the future in this country.
So for the love of God, please stop having hard stances on things you haven’t even put the effort into understanding. It’s tired atp.
