Momento Latino
An inter-generational Latino podcast, The Momento will explore the “momentos” of prominent leaders, activists, politicians, and celebrities to illuminate the moments that changed their lives and put them on their current path. These conversations will be the kindling for the next generation of Latino leaders providing advice, inspiration, and serve as an instrument for the Latino community to stand on the shoulders of those who came before them, and affect positive change for our communities across the United States.
For our third episode we sat down with Luis Gerado Méndez, an award-winning actor, producer, and story teller, whose new movie Half-Brothers tells the story of a family separated by borders. Luis talks about the importance of Latinos telling their stories and the future of diversity in Hollywood.
For our second episode we sat down with the former mayor of San Antonio, Secretary of Housing & Urban Development, and 2020 presidential candidate Julían Castro to talk about his life as a civil servant, his historic presidential run and the future of the Latino community after the 2020 election.
For our first episode we sat down with actress, activist, mother, and Momento Latino Co-Founder Eva Longoria Baston to talk about the momento she realized her life purpose was to serve others through her activism and advocacy for the Latinx Community in the United States.
