Rick and Suds call the station that is simulcasting WIOD (WSUN), the former Sun Country. Some of their regulars call in, and so does The Bird. First day of the simulcast.
Payphone Challenge Tuesday, Marvin is in Vegas, Jorge is on the board, and Adam putting ice cream in a guy's pants. But first, they call the cops in Conway.
It's the 42nd Annual Turkeys on Parade today on The Rick and Suds Show.
AK says: "Wow... ya know, even if you weren't a big Rick and Suds fan, the annual "Turkeys on parade" is pretty good to go back and listen to even if for just history. The parade makes fun of all of the local and national newsmakers over the past year.. it's kind of a "news year in review". 10 minutes into this I've already been reminded of the following major news issues of 1990: Perrier has chemical benzoate, Sheriff Nick Navarro hired all his family in the dept, Eastern Airlines layoffs and protests, Sally Fitz batteries, WNWS Debbie Ellis called Rick and Suds "pansies", and more.
