In our first session of 2022 we begin our character study sessions by looking into the life of Joseph .A man with one of the most interesting life stories in the Bible. Loved but also hated, favoured but also abused. Nonetheless he remained a man of character throughout his life.
We look at two themes. •The contrast of love and hate in our lives •Exercising caution when dealing with the dreams and visions God has given you.
In this session we explore how to react to and deal with slander. In vs 23 David found himself in a situation where the great men around him were slandering him. How did he react and what do we learn. This session also explains the role the word of God plays in our lives as a counselor.
In this session we explore why David was praying for God to remove from him the scorn, contempt and reproach of the people around him. Why? What do we learn from his prayer that will benefit our day to day lives.
A look into how we are essentially sojourners on earth and how we ought to always live with the end in mind at all times so that we don't get carried away and miss the reason why God put us here.
