Thank you so much for tuning in to the first ever episode of The Angry Brown Woman podcast! I am your host Husnaa, and I hope that this about me podcast gives you a glimpse into who I am as a person. As an Indian-American woman who grew up in a very conservative community, I found myself finding holes in what I was taught to accept from the tender age of 12 or 13. With this platform, I hope to not only confront those teachings and patterns to hold the culture accountable, but to also create change from it. This podcast will not be limited only to brown topics. I hope to cover hot topics in news, sports, and everything in between. I don't want to box this in as a podcast for brown people, because I am angry at far more than just my own people.
