Riding the waves of bliss from a lottery win, Wayne and Vivian decide to build their dream house in the Australian outback, away from their life in Singapore. However, as things are seemingly falling into place, they are faced with unforeseen circumstances, and the young couple is forced to grapple with their new realities.
This audio play is adapted from Chong Tze Chien’s new and original play, House, and is directed by Rayann Condy. It is produced and performed by the LASALLE College of the Arts BA (Hons) Acting Class of 2020.

Time heals all wounds, and while Vivian is still learning to navigate a life without Wayne, there is hope for her yet.
Losing a loved one is never easy, much less the person you wanted to spend the rest of your life with. Still reeling from the loss of Wayne, Vivian struggles to let go.
Trying to cope with her loss, Vivian returns to Perth determined to finish building the house. Michelle goes along with her.
Vivian is back in Singapore for Wayne’s funeral, and with Wayne gone, Vivian’s world seems to be falling apart.
Wayne has always been the positive to Vivian’s negative, the perfect match. But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
