As my journey as a voice actor progress, storytelling narrations is a category that I enjoy tremendously. Starting with #001, I aim to work hard and narrate 100 stories before even thinking of stopping.

I love The Haunting of Hill House.
Well, I quite like The Haunting of Bly Manor, but Hill House was way better. That doesn't mean Bly Manor doesn't have parts that shine. This is one of the creepy scenes with Miles telling a story about... puppets.
First off, you MUST USE HEADPHONES to listen and experience the full SFX.
The Landlady is a short horror (well, more creepy than horror) story by Roald Dahl. It's a story within a story coated with sound effects. This is a 99.95% word-by-word story narration, omitting words like 'he said, she said'. Also, there are other versions that go by Swindon instead of Reading, or pussy willows instead of chrysanthemums. I've just chosen the version I prefer.

Written by Aknier on Commaful, the short story is a 1st person narrative of a woman about her calm demeanour in facing life, whatever the situation might be. It's beautiful, and it's impactful.
