The New Moon is a time for renewal of our energy. It is time to set new intentions. Every month, our attention is adjusted to focus on something different, thus enabling us to evolve and grow - consciously.
As often it does, Sagittarius energy refreshes the collective after the sombre, deep energy of Scorpio. Sagittarius is about the truth, fairness, optimism amongst many traits.
The changing position of the planets shifts the energy focus and we can consider new ways of generating and retaining power. There are also new and growing ideas about food production in cities!
This New Moon for me is about a new adventure driving south in our vast country.

The New Moon in Virgo occurred on Friday 15th September just after 11 in the morning AEST, at 21 degrees Virgo.

We have thirteen lunar months in a year, so one month has to have two new moons.
The Universe is giving us a real nudge by providing a solar eclipse at the same time as this New Moon.
Eclipses hold the power for dynamic change and unexpected shifts.
This eclipse is squared by Pluto temporarily in Aquarius, and Mercury stationing retrograde, both heightening the message of transformative change in direction.
Mercury, is also conjunct Uranus at the eclipse suggesting sudden unexpected news.
The solar Eclipse is followed two weeks later by a Lunar Eclipse, just before the Coronation of King Charles III.

It is interesting to observe that issues that governments were very much wanting to control just a few months ago, are no longer issues. Many more folk are resistant to calls for greater control over their lives. People no longer trust their Authorities. The pandemic which has provided a distraction form the real focus- currency reset - has receded in importance.
Planetary energies continue to nudge us forward. We are facing increasing issues with food, fuel and inflation. Digital currencies are looming larger and closer. Our weather patterns continue to be unusual.
BUT life goes on. We make adjustments. People move to live in different places. We change jobs. We initiate new businesses. We adjust our spending and our eating patterns. Humans are amazingly resilient and creative.

Not just a New Moon, but also a Solar Eclipse at 8:41pm, just two weeks after the Lunar eclipse that we were all able to witness here in Australia. In this solar eclipse the moon’s shadow is between the earth and the Sun, not visible from Australia.
Just because we cannot see it, does not detract from its power.
Astrologically we also have Mercury in retrograde conjunct the Sun and Moon giving extraordinary power to communications, but they can be very confused because Neptune in Pisces is making a square aspect to all three. You may find your logic is telling you one credible story but your emotions are contradicting your thoughts. You have choice - remember. The stories you are perceiving from all the media in your life are very confusing as there are many different versions of what is really happening in this crazy world right now.
My suggestion is that you make no significant choices of action right now, allowing time to clarify the issues, BUT do choose your attitude according to your feelings. What does your gut tell you? Find a quiet place to sit and contemplate and find a solution for yourself.

There was a New Moon in Taurus on Wednesday 12th in Australia. Saturn in Aquarius is asking us what we really need to retain. What can we let go? What do we no longer need?
Maverick Uranus in Taurus has already been posing those questions and is ready to shake Taurus up. Many Astrologers believe that we can expect earth changes - earthquakes, volcanoes etc.
In the meantime, we still have Pluto in Capricorn wreaking havoc in all those systems and process that no longer serve us.
Let us consider what is meant by Occult. From the Latin occultus meaning hidden, does it always mean Bad Stuff? UFO’s?
How can we as humans deal with all this challenging energy? Hugs - lots of them! We are as POWERFUL as we allow ourselves to be!
Normally the full moon time will expose matters that have been hidden. Since this time the light, Sun in Taurus, is shining on Moon in Scorpio, we can expect deeply hidden secrets to be exposed. Is one of those “secrets” information from NASA that in fact there have been sightings of UFOs that have also been videoed? So UFOs are REAL? While in some circles this is well known, the official line has been silent and in fact denied that there are any such phenomenon. Are we at last acknowledging that there are other intelligent entities in our universe? How best can we interact with them? What can we offer them? What can they offer us?
What else is “coming into the LIGHT” at this time? Watch and observe!

I believe that we need to THINK about what is happening, how it can impact us and how we can act/react in healthy ways. For this reason, I am moving much of my Social Media activity to Telegram, an alternative to FB. This is in line with Sun in Aries in my house of Public Persona and Mars in Gemini, my Ascending sign.

As I prepare this we have the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn all in Aquarius. The New Moon is officially on Friday here in Australia. This is the ideal time to adjust our thoughts and commit to the Aquarian principles of taking responsibility for SELF, while considering the group(s) to which we feel we belong. When we feed our bodies the best food, our brains will function at their optimum. We can then appreciate the changing energies and focus our attention on creating an amazing future for us all.
