Matt (he/him) has forced Jacob (they/them) to watch Amazon Prime's hit(?) new (at the time of recording, which was a while ago) Cinderella adaptation starring Camilla Cabello, and Jacob is not happy about it.
In a podcast debut, Matt is joined by friend and In The Heights (but only the film) super-fan Abi! The audio quality is worse but the episode is longer so do with that what you will. In all honesty, this was a lot of fun and has spent a long time in editing so we really hope somebody enjoys listening to it as much we enjoyed making it.
After a brief catch up and some show admin, Matt and Sophie get into their top 5 favourite songs from the musical comedy-drama TV series GLEE.
It was Sophie's turn to choose what to talk about, and she was so excited she did not prepare for the recording in any way. Like, at all. She didn't even look at the soundtrack. With the episode written off before it even begins, the pair double down as Sophie reveals her favourite Schuyler Sister (hint: it's not Peggy) and Matt has to try to sing far, far too often.
Matt monotonously lists the cast and their accolades to a disinterested 12-year-old who doesn't know who Meryl Streep is. Meanwhile, Sophie may not remember any of the show's musical numbers, but did she still enjoy it? Find out this week on a podcast about Netflix's The Prom!
