Its the 129th of Hive open mic and the weeks theme is"TRUST" and I'll be doing one of my childhood favorite "cast all my cares" from the donut man show.

While there's a lot going on daily, and the dire need of carrying all that comes along with it, things can get a little over whelming especially when uncertainties are involved... The responsibility of decision making, providing for the family, catering for your needs, and so much more can be frustrating.

At times like this, I love to draw strength from the part of scripture that says "come all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I'll give you rest". Trusting his promise to hold me up always give me an extra push...

And apostle Paul said, the peace of God which passeth all understanding begins to substitute the worries.

I hope you trust God as you begin to lay all your hearts burden at his feet.

Hi guys😋😋 it's kierydearie. This is week 128 of Hive Open mic and the theme is "Desamor" meaning heartbreak. I'll be singing a sing done by Toni braxton titled "Unbreak my heart"....

I don't wish a heartbreak for anyone really because it hurts so deeply down to the bones. Now I'm not just talking about heartbreaks in intimate relationships but any relationship at all which You share some level of addictive bond with the other person. Letting go is painful even when you know its really necessary. It might hurt so much that it even leaves an emotional scar reminding you of the pain.

That's one of the reasons why persons wish it could be reversed, or the heart is taken back to that state when it was unbroken. .

This song was a call for a reversal and I plea for things to go back to normal.

Hi guys😀

This is week 127 on Hive Open mic and I decided to jump on the weeks theme TEVAZU( Humility) chosen by the amazing @okayozdemiroglu. Its a beautiful theme and an essential trait in the pursuit of greater heights or the journey of life in general. Even within the pages of the Bible and stories of great men, Humility was a core similar character each of them possessed.

What greater example to illustrate this other than the Messiah himself who became flesh just so we could be saved.

A king leaving his Royal seat to dine with mere men , who gave a price unpayable by efforts or any earthly sacrifice. To me, no man can ever ever beat this. The rock of ages whom the angels and all the elders bow down in worship. He came just for You and I.

I am excited to kick start this month by jumping on the weeks theme "Nothing is impossible" chosen by my dear friend and sister @bernice01.

This phrase isn't novel to me as I have heard it countless times due to my religious inclination to Christianity, primarily the knowledge and relationship I have with Jesus.

Of late, I have tried to personalize this phrase and make it a mantra worthy of recitation every passing day. I find strength in this joined words and truly, it reflects in my daily life.

I am elated to sing this song by Chris Tomlin titles "Our God".

Our God made the entire universe and every single thing within it and has gone on to create a track record of specializing in doing things which seems humanly impossible. Curing cancer, raising the dead, restoring mental health, and so much more.

So absolutely nothing is impossible for him.

Hello lovelies😘😘

Happy new month to you all. This month holds great and pleasant promises, I can feel it and you will surely partake of it.

The theme of this week is "Family love". Wow...a lot came through my mind on sighting this theme but one particularly stands out and that'd be the support system my family became for me when I was going through a rough patch in school. The stress was unbearable and I completely broke down physically and emotionally.

I am the type that hides all emotion but mmhheennnn I was so emotional at that point in time.

I confided in my family and their words of encouraging and gestures were out of this world. It felt like my strength was renewed to last for years without running out.

I am so so so grateful for my family( Biological, spiritual, and international.).

I rose up, dusted off my stress, and did my best when I received the enabling and energising encouragement from my family. I love them so much and I can't wait to see them soon.

Hello Guys💖

This is another week on Hive open mic with the theme "Love hurts" chosen by the beautiful @khaleesi and I will be doing a cover of " Someone like you" by Adele.

Honestly, I don't think there's anyone who haven't felt a tingling sensation in their heart sprouted from events as little as being ignored , sidelined, even cheated on by those who they love deeply. As long as emotions are involved, there's a big chance of getting hurt because we can control

human ideology and general patterns of behaviour.
