In this episode, we cover the most common reasons why this may happen, including wellness culture, under eating and over exercising. We also share a bit about our own past experiences, how we got our healthy cycles back and ways you can support and nourish your body if you are trying to get yours back.

Please be aware that we touch on some elements of eating disorders / restrictive eating, so if this may be a trigger for you we suggest skipping to another episode.  We are also both here if you ever need to chat xx

Sit down with Brooke and Sarah for our first episode on one of our favourite wellness topics- the Oral Contraceptive Pill ( OCP). So many women are prescribed the pill for many reasons but are never told the repercussions of what the pill actually does to their bodies. Did you know your bleed on the pill isn't actually your real period ? Did you know that by suppressing ovulation by taking the pill you are actually at risk of lower bone density ? We go through what the pill is, reasons you may be prescribed the pill, what effects it has on the body, alternative methods of contraception, and some things to be mindful when coming off of the pill.

We hope you love this episode as much as we enjoyed recording it! Let us know your thoughts and what topic you want to talk about next @theinsidescoop_pod
