- At first glance, I was worried about Bjalka being a good attack sponge for my attacks, Lobstradamus doing the same due to its Shield ability against my Sea Monster, and Gloridax Magus's blast damage.

  • Then there was my concern over the Halving Alchemist's who cuts enemy attack power in half but I was pretty sure Coral Wraith would snipe him from the get-go.
  • I like putting Djinn Oshannus in the back if my opponent's recently played doesn't show much usage of Sneak monsters.
  • I haven't used Venair Wavesmith as much as I used to but the prevalene of Weak Magic rulesets, where magic hits armor first instead of health, has made him and the summoner Keyla very useful.

* Here's some quick info on this game, Naruto Ninjastorm 4:

[Story]

The narrative follows the young ninjas Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha as they participate in a world war between shinobi – the Fourth Shinobi World War – against the terrorist organization Akatsuki and unite to defeat it. Similar to Storm 3, the game uses regular fighting systems; however, players can switch among a team of three fighters who can assist each other. Other returning elements involve boss fights, where quick time events are required to reach hidden scenes and hack and slash areas. The expansion version is entitled Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 - Road to Boruto; this version, under development, was compiled with three other series titles as Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy and released on in August 2017. It adds new characters from the 2015 film, Boruto: Naruto the Movie, and adult versions of the younger fighters.

[Gameplay]

Ultimate Ninja Storm 4's gameplay is similar to that of previous games in the series, in which players battle each other in 3D arenas. A returning feature, omitted since the original Ultimate Ninja Storm, is the ability to wall-run; players can battle on the sides (walls) of each arena. A major change to the feature is the ability to have one character on the wall and the other on the field; the second player was originally also moved to the wall to keep the battle flowing and the system in check.[3] The game has the largest number of fighters in series history. Its roster includes 106 fighters from the Naruto universe, including duplicates of the same characters, such as Naruto (Part 1) and Naruto (Six Paths Sage Mode).[4] The game also includes characters from the films The Last: Naruto the Movie (2014) and Boruto: Naruto the Movie (2015).[5] There is total of over a hundred characters in the game.[6]

The option to select one of three fighting types was removed; it was introduced in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, restoring the rest of the series' strongest attacks, Ultimate Jutsu and Awakenings system which enhances the fighting capabilities of fighter for a limited time. Another new feature is the ability to swap characters during battle, similar to games such as Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Awakenings and ultimate jutsus can be shared by switchable characters; players can build their meter with one character and switch to the other, using the same abilities with the other character (which shares the life bar). Also new to the series is the ability to break weapons and armor in free and boss battles with the ability to inflict elemental damage; fire can burn away clothing, but players can get rid of fire by moving quickly across the area or being attacked with water.[7]

A player can initially play the main story mode about the Fourth Shinobi World War set after the events of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst.[8] which it is divided into lineal chapters involving the parallel encounters Naruto and Sasuke have until reuniting. Optional chapters focused on the supporting cast's past are also available to play. Similar to previous Storm games, the history mode has boss fights with quick time events and hack and slash elements.[9] When they complete the mode, the player can travel across an open world to recreate fights from previous series installments.[10] The DLC Road to Boruto also focuses on the same open world but restricted to Hidden Leaf Village with sidequests being available besides completing its main narrative.[11]

Both info sections from Wikipedia.

  • My friend was visiting so, like the good old days, we played some Naruto Ninjastorm until our hands were sore from mashing so many buttons so quickly haha
  • At first we chose some crazy teams but eventually settled on selecting teams at random to make things more interesting.
  • Funnily enough I got one of the types I hate the most -- puppet characters. I ended up with Kankuro but luckily my allies were Madara and Guy so eventually I switched out to them.
  • My friend got Kakuzu, Momoshiki, and Guy as well.
  • Here's a link to some info on my main character and on my friend's main character in this fight.
  • It was a fun battle where I had a bit of a tough time at first and kept getting caught in Kakuzu's grab move but eventually I left everything in the very capable hands of Guy Sensei who's an absolutely beast.
  • Hope y'all enjoy!

This is a clip from my gameplay footage of 2022's popular video game "Elden Ring" on Playstation 4.

If you're unfamiliar with "Elden Ring", here's some quick info:

(Actual post is below this intro info!)

[GAMEPLAY]

In Elden Ring, players control a customizable player character on a journey to repair the Elden Ring and become the new Elden Lord. The game is presented through a third-person perspective, with players freely roaming its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include combat using several types of weapons and magic spells, horseback riding, and crafting. (Wikipedia)

[STORY]

Elden Ring takes place in the Lands Between, a fictional landmass ruled over by several demigods. It was previously ruled over by the immortal Queen Marika, who acted as keeper of the Elden Ring, a powerful force that manifested as the physical concept of order. When Marika eventually shattered the Elden Ring and disappeared, her demigod children began warring over pieces of the Ring in an event called the Shattering. Each demigod possesses a shard of the Ring called a Great Rune, which corrupts them with power. In the game, the player character is a Tarnished, one of a group of exiles from the Lands Between who are summoned back after the Shattering. As one of the Tarnished, the player must traverse the realm to repair the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord. (Wikipedia)

  • Another hauntingly beautiful landscape in the video game Elden Ring is Liurnia Lakes especially beyond the swampy area if you go toward Raya Lucaria Academy.
  • For this post, I've recorded my 3rd attempt at the Glinstone Dragon Smarag in Liurnia Lakes.
  • I tried fighting Smarag without my goat-horse Torrent in my first attempt which wasn't too bad -- but it was very difficult running away from this dragon's magic fire.
  • I start this clip off by picking up my fallen runes from last time.
  • A pesky dragon-fly tries to follow me but luckily it eventually leaves me alone.
  • While Smarag's sleeping peacefully, I launch two Dragon Rotten Breath incantations which in no time cause it to start losing 1000 points of health a second. Rot is an incredible status-effect and a great way to cheese enemies and bosses. Sometimes I wonder why Rotten Breath wasn't available later on in the game since it can be like giving a nuke to a baby when it comes Elden Ring beginners.
  • I hope on Torrent and start riding around, missing almost all of Smarag's magic breath attacks.
  • It's funny how terrifying fighting dragons on feet can be but it becomes much easier when riding around on horseback.
  • I pelt Smarag with some Black Flames fireballs and some Lightning Spears.
  • Once the magic breath-attacks get more intense, I use the entire island Smarag was sleeping at as a shield to protect myself from the blue flames.
  • I finish the battle off with some Lightning Spears and I imagine what it would be like to fight a water dragon at a lake or some kind of electrical storm dragon that could shock me due to the lake's water, forcing me to ride from island to island for protection.
  • Hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to leave comments below!

* Naruto Ninjastorm 4 Road to Boruto an arena-fighting game from over a few years back which involves characters from the Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, and a few from Boruto fighting each other in single or three-on-three matches in various sized arenas.

  • I've been playing a lot of Elden Ring so I haven't had the chance to play Ninjastorm in a while but it's kind of like riding a bike but I definitley can't ride/play as fast as I used to haha
  • To warm up, I decided to set up a fight with a computer set to the game's hardest difficulty which unfortunately does not prepare you whatsoever for the skilled players online.
  • In this battle, I picked Fourth-Hokage Minato, Frog Sage Naruto, and Boruto for my team and picked Zombie Itachi, Five Summit Sasuke, and Sarada for the computer's team to make it a family versus family fight since it's grandad-dad-son with my team and brother-father-daughter for the other side.
  • Here are the controls:

  • Move with L3 (left analog stick)

  • Switch characters in team battle with R3 (right analog stick)
  • Block with R2 button.
  • Dodge/substitute with L2 which temporarily uses up one of five substitution sections of your yellow bar.
  • Charge up your chakra by holding the triangle button to fill up your blue bar
  • Use various power up or power down or extra ninja star items with the directional pad
  • Melee attack with the O/circle-button
  • Jump or double jump with the X-button
  • Throw ninja stars with the square button
  • Throw charged ninja stars by pressing triangle and then square
  • Charge dash toward your opponent with triangle and then the "x" button
  • Brake or cancel a charge dash by hitting block/R2
  • Activate regular jutsu with triangle and circle
  • Activate ultimate jutsu by hitting triangle twice and then circle
  • Activate team ultimate jutsu by hitting triangle three times and then circle
  • Activate split second counter with R2 and circle but be warned this temporarily shortens your chakra bar.
  • Back or side step by double tapping the "x" button while holding the L3, or left analog stick, in a specific direction
  • Temporarily bring in a teammate for an attack with L1 or R1 which afteward makes them temporarily unavailable

  • I think that's most of the controls -- feel free to let me know if I missed one haha

  • I've been keeping up with the Boruto anime & manga and while Naruto isn't as popular since it's conclusion I do think that Boruto has been rather lackluster lately but I'm not sure if the original creator is that involved anymore. I'll have to look that up.
  • Anyway, I wanted to play some Naruto and see some cool characters that I grew up with ... which is why I'll probably be getting those Nickeledeon and Warner Bros super-smash lookalike games soon too haha
  • I annhiliate the computer in the first match without switching characters.
  • Then I destroy them again with a team ultimate jutsu and win again in the second.
  • I like Minato and Itachi for their speed and how cool their moves both look.
  • I haven't gotten around to playing the more recent Dragon Ball Z fighting games but Ninjastorm is definitely one of my all time favorite fighting games and I'd like to play more if it didn't make my hands so sore, especially in online play due to how fast and crafy online players can be haha
  • Hope you enjoyed these battles.
  • Last time I posted a Ninjastorm 4 fight it was in Hive Gaming but I thought I'd try Anime Realm just in case there were in any Naruto fans lol

  • First off, I have to repeat like in previous posts how beautiful Elden Ring is. I take a ton of screenshots and not all of them do the game justic but Liurnia and what I assume is the Raya Lucaria Academy in the background is absolutely gorgeous.
  • I kill a soldier covered in branches or roots first then go over to the Erdtree Avatar and kick things off wiht some giant fire balls from my Flame of the Fell God incantation spell.
  • Using Bloodhound Step, my Ash of War on my right-hand sword, I dodge a few of this boss's hits but get hit near the end.
  • Fire is super effective against this type of enemy.
  • Erdtree Avatar is only able to get off one golden-laser shower attack before being consumed by the burn damage.
  • I earn a Cerulean Crystal Tear and a Ruptured Crystal Tear ... no idea what those do but I'm sure I'll soon find out.
  • Hope you enjoyed this short video post and feel free to leave comments below!

* This is a gameplay clip from the co-op mode in the video game, Elden Ring.

  • I am playing on a Playstation 4.
  • For this one, I was summoned at the southernmost part of Castle Morne to assist my friend, Fang, on taking down the Leonine Misbegotten so that he could get the Grafted Great Sword, a colossal sword literally made out of swords. Imagine the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones, except it's a big-ass sword lol.

Since this is about the co-op multiplayer mode in Elden Ring, I will be including this quote of information about the game feature here:

[MULTIPLAYER]

Elden Ring has a multiplayer system that allows players to be summoned for both cooperative and player versus player (PvP) play over the Internet.[20] Cooperative play involves the placing of a Summon Sign on the ground, which causes the sign to appear in front of online players. If another player interacts with the sign, they are transported into the game area of whoever placed it down. Cooperative players remain in the same world until the boss of the area is defeated, or until a summoned player dies and is sent back to their home world. PvP combat involves using a Summon Sign to directly challenge another player to a duel, or using an item called the Bloody Finger to invade the worlds of others.

  • My friend and I travel down to Limgrave's Weeping Peninsula and I help them out against a giant goblin sorcerer and its little minions.
  • My friend has a giant ballista which looked really cool. I noticed that a lot of the little ogblins kept ignoring me and targeting him probably because he was the Host of Fingers.
  • After all the small goblins are destroyed, my friend defeats the giant goblin sorcerer and I think he said he earned an item of some kind.
  • We hop up a cliff toward a church to find a Site of Grace but get interrupted by a giant flower monster that can cast magic. I burn it with Black Flames incantations and my friend hacks at it like a weed-whacker.
  • We find the spot and then get the lovely red banner that we'd just been invaded and try to take them on.
  • I launch a series of giant fire balls from the incantation Flame of the Fell God which is very effective and then decided to experiment a little -- HUGE mistake.
  • My Flame Frenzy misses the invader by a lot and they hide behind a pillar where they get the chance to heal and start doing some heavy attacks on my friend. I try to get with my melee sword but they dodge around a lot and manage to kill not just my friend but me as well ...
  • That was a painful loss which I felt hugely responsible for. If I'd just kept casting that huge area-of-effect giant fire ball the explosions and burn damage would've made it very difficult for the invader to hide and heal themselves -- but unfortunately I experimented at a time which required consistency.
  • Hope you enjoyed this video and feel free to leave comments below!
  • See you all on the next post from my Elden Ring adventure!

  • This was a tough boss battle the first few times because I couldn't understand why I couldn't permanently defeat this Ghost Knigth -- until I saw the snail.
  • Just like me, who was summoning a ghostly warrior to help me fight, this snail was skulking around and letting this big ghost knight do the fighting for it.
  • I start off this dungeon boss fight by summoning Llutel the Headless, my strongest ghost summon so far. He materializes and rushes the ghost knight, teleporting toward them while I ready a Lightning Spear for support.
  • The great thing about ghost summons are that they can distract enemies, or a boss, while you sit back and heal or throw down long-range support.
  • Thankfully I grab my fallen runes so that this attempt isn't for naught.
  • Once I spot that weird glowing area in the corner, I start snail-hunting while Llutel goes to work keeping the big guy busy.
  • Thankfully every time I hit the snail he reappears in a corner not too close to Llutel and the Ghost Knight, making for a much more easier battle.
  • For defeating this boss, I earn 3000 runes and get a new ghost summon -- glinstone sorcerer.

  • The Erdtree Avatar is a boss near the Minor Erdtree in Southern Limgrave on the Weeping Peninsula.
  • My friend thought they might need some help battle it so they summoned me to their world through the Elden Ring multiplayer which is why I'm glowing red or gold.
  • My friend started things off by hacking away at the Erdtree Avatar with his Bloodhound Sword which is really badass looking.
  • While he laid down some melee on the boss, I cast a giant fireball called Flame of the Fell God before thankfully using my Ash of War, Bloodhound Step, to basically teleport away from a swing of Avatar's giant hammer staff.
  • I cast another giant fireball and watched as Avatar's boss got eaten up by the flames.
  • Unfortunately I didn't pay attention to its movements and got hit with a life-halving smash from its hammer-staff while casting a third giant fireball.
  • At this point, after three giant fire balls, Erdtree Avatar's health bar has been reduced by half.
  • I cast some more giant fire balls but Avatar moves out of their blast radius so I start running away from it while my friend throws a bunch of daggers from afar.
  • While putting more distance between me and Erdtree Avatar, I take a Cerulean Flask(magic potion) and restore my FP (magic).
  • I cast two more giant fire balls which nearly kill it while it activates its special attack of golden lasers.
  • It dies in the middle of the laser attack but I also receive damage due to pausing for a moment.
  • I get a Rune Arc as a reward and am returned to my world.

  • In the beginnign of the game, after the Cave of Knowledge, there's a statue that requires a stonesword key to open.
  • It's been almost three weeks since I've seen it but I was showing a friend how to get to the tutorial and ran across this statue again -- and I had a couple stonesword keys so I used it to unlock possibly the hardest dungeon I've come across so far.
  • It's got a spikey chariot trying to run you over, teleporting ghosts, gargoyles, and when you finally feel like you've found some peace -- two nice surprises drop down from the ceiling while you're crossing a narrow bridge.

  • Ainsel River is another underground region of the Lands Between in the game of Elden Ring. It's full of giant ants and these weird bug-eyed salamanders that spit out a status-effect I don't recognize.
  • Luckily, the giant ants and salamanders were all able to be defeated with a single strike from my character's Lightning Spear incantation spell.
  • This video starts with me runing toward the golden misty veil that signifies an upcoming boss battle.
  • I lost several times where I'd gotten this new boss down to half-life but there were a few attempts where I made stupid mistakes or tried the wrong spells and got obliterated very quickly.
  • Have to say first off -- this boss fight arena is gorgeous. The mishapen stone bodies littering the ground, the shrubbery and high ceilings, and the giant seated statue just really left me with a feeling of wonder.
  • I was actually relieved to be fighting the Dragonkin Soldier and not the colossal seated figure in the background.
  • The battle starts with me sprinting my little legs toward my fallen runes from my last attempt at this boss who drops down from the ceiling. Dragonkin Soldiers look like giant mummies with dragon heads and claws.
  • I was really worried about those fallen runes because they were over 35 thousand runes so I didn't want to lose those.
  • My next move is unleashing Dragon Rotten-Breath spell on the boss. He's a little far away but the clouds will eventually reach him and strike him with the Rot status effect which will start to quickly eat up his health.
  • The first hit does 195 points of damage but only ten seconds later 25% of Dragonkin Soldier's health is gone and he's losing 1000 points of health a second.
  • He tries to strike with his claws and it completely misses me thanks to the Bloodhound Step I duse to dodge.
  • After that I hit him with a second Rotten Breath spell so it stacks to make him lose 2000 points of health a second now.
  • Ever since running into the rot status effect. in Caelid I've just been amazed with rot's potency and am glad I have a spell capable of dishing it out against enemies.
  • It hasn't even been a minute yet and I've already cut Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella's health bar in half a lot quicker than previous attempts.
  • Like in my other tries, at half life he activates his lightning powers and starts crackling with electricity.
  • The first time I saw this I started to panic because of all the water between the mounds on the ground but for some reason that never seemed to have an additional effect with this boss's electrical attacks.
  • When fighting the Dragonkin Soldier in Sofiara River, I kept waiting for wings to sprout from the cape-like pouch on its back so when this Dragonkin Soldier finally released its wings I was both happy and terrified. Sadly, his wings are tattered remains and are mostly bone.
  • He starts throwing down waves of lightning and ride along the ground and I try to avoid it all with regular dodging but get caught and electrocuted.
  • Wanting to return the damage, I try to wind up another Dragon Rotten Breath spell but the boss flies down and smacks me off my feet lol.
  • Not wanting to waste time charging up a heal spell, I take and Crimson Flask (health potion) and back away while looking at the status effect Dragonkin Soldier's hit me with -- I think it's a frozen/ice related status effect.
  • He hits me with an uppercut, sending me flying into the air and the game tells me with a nice bloody banner that I've contracted something called Frostbite that makes me wonder if my stamina and speed will be affected.
  • Also, that last hit basically undoes all the recovered health I fixed with my health potion a second ago.
  • Thankfully I have enough magic focus points to Bloodhound Step out of his next attack and hide behind a large pillar where I cast a healing spell.
  • As you can see in the fight, we're both standing in water so I'm a little confused why I'm not taking damage while wading in the same shallow lake as this electricity dragon-humanoid.
  • I hit him another Dragon Rotten Breath and he starts losing 1000 health points a second again.
  • He's nearly dead but starts throwing down a bunch of lightning attacks into the water but it's futile since the game's not letting me get electrocuted by it through the water. I almost feel bad because the rot status-effect is basically like an extremely strong version of the poison status effect.
  • The boss tries cornering me but I'm able to Bloodhound Step out of most of his attacks and charge up a Black Flames fireball that only hits him after the rot effect's already killed him.
  • "GREAT ENEMY FELLED"
  • I get rewarded with a new spell Frozen Lightning Spear and 12 thousand runes -- pretty fantastic.
  • The Ash of War called Bloodhound Step and the incantation Dragon Rotten Breath spell both leave me a little conflicted.
  • While I know Bloodhound Step's already recently been nerfed by FromSoftware to be slower and travel a shorter distance, I feel that it's drastically improved my evasion -- to the point it feels more like teleporting than actual movement. Can't imagine what this Ash of War was like six months ago before the nerf.
  • And then there's Dragon Rotten Breath which was almost unusable when I first got it due to how slow it took to activate the spell. Now thankfully after pouring thousands of runes into my Dexterity stat I can cast it a lot quicker which makes me wonder how fair it'll be to future enemies when I dump even more runes into Dexterity. I imagine I will feel both guilty but mighty haha

This is a clip from my gameplay footage of 2022's popular video game "Elden Ring" on Playstation 4.

If you're unfamiliar with "Elden Ring", here's some quick info:

[GAMEPLAY]

"In Elden Ring, players control a customizable player character on a journey to repair the Elden Ring and become the new Elden Lord. The game is presented through a third-person perspective, with players freely roaming its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include combat using several types of weapons and magic spells, horseback riding, and crafting." (Wikipedia)

[STORY]

"Elden Ring takes place in the Lands Between, a fictional landmass ruled over by several demigods. As one of the Tarnished, the player must traverse the realm to repair the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord."

(Wikipedia)

[MULTIPLAYER]

"Elden Ring has a multiplayer system that allows players to be summoned for both cooperative and player versus player (PvP) play over the Internet.[20] Cooperative play involves the placing of a Summon Sign on the ground, which causes the sign to appear in front of online players. If another player interacts with the sign, they are transported into the game area of whoever placed it down. Cooperative players remain in the same world until the boss of the area is defeated, or until a summoned player dies and is sent back to their home world. PvP combat involves using a Summon Sign to directly challenge another player to a duel, or using an item called the Bloody Finger to invade the worlds of others."

(Wikipedia)

  • Finally after facing off against multiple Bloodyfinger invaders and nearly defeating Agheel three times, I decided to break out the big weapon I used against the last Bloodyfinger.
  • While on our way back to the lake, I notice a rainbow stone on the ground that my friend threw and thought of how cool it is that we can drop rocks that break if they fall too far -- what a clever game. Could probably create all sorts of nice designs with them too.
  • My friend notices one of the dead giant bats still vibrating on the ground which must've been a temporary graphics thing.
  • This time our strategy is for me being run around the far side and wait for my friend to get Agheel's attention. Once his back's toward me, I unleash the secret weapon to see how effective it is.
  • It's a lot of running, since the goat-horse Torrent isn't available in multiplayer, but I make it to the back of the dragon and release half a bar of Rotten Breath on him until we see his health bar starting to nosedive.
  • Seeing how successful it is, I try it again but Agheel leaps into the air and flies away.
  • This boss is losing a thousand points of health a second at this point so my friend tries to get Agheel's attention again and I release another cloud of Rotten Breath from behind.
  • Now Agheel's losing 2000 points of health a second!
  • Curious how much more this dragon spell can stack, I hit him again with it and he starts losing 3000 ... then 4000 points of health a second.
  • We both hang back and watch the dragon slowly near death.
  • At the end, the rot effect wears off and my friend's able to take down the dragon with some crossbow bolts.
  • I didn't even use Bloodhound Step in this battle but I'm starting to think that Ash of War and Rotten Breath might be my two new favorite skills, other than Flame of the Fell God because it looks like a tiny sun or a maybe even a red DBZ spirit bomb.
  • I get a Rune Arc for helping defeat Agheel which is nice but I still have no idea what those do.
  • Hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to leave comments below!
  • See you on the next post of my Elden Ring adventure :)

(Wikipedia)

  • Once again while we were on our way to fight Flying Dragon Agheel at the big lake in Limgrave, another player invaded our world. In the game, these invaders are called Bloodyfingers.
  • As per usual when around water, there was a pesky dragonfly around that kept buzzing around.
  • This time the Bloodyfinger was a melee-type who was really good at dodge-rolling and had some sort of bubble-buff around themselves which was neat.
  • My friend went in and engaged him melee-style while I threw a bunch of Lightning Spears, not all of which hit due to their impressive evasiveness.
  • Unfortunatley just as I ran out of magic and was too far away, the invader broke my friend's stance and landed a critical hit. Seeing as he was one more critical hit from death, I had no choice but to whip out my secret weapon.
  • I refilled my magic with a Cerulean Flask, hit the invader with a Black Flames fireball, and released my dragon spell -- Rot Breath -- which was very effective.
  • After their demise, my friend and I noted how the longer we played on multiplayer the more powerful our invaders seemed to be getting which was both impressive but scary.

  • This video's not very long at all -- less than a minute.
  • Another invader enters our multiplayer world on our way to Limgrave's Flying Dragon Agheel so we wait by the edge of the lake for them to show up.
  • Surprisingly they approach us from the direction of the dragon and have two big swords.
  • Unsure of this invading player's play style, I ask my friend if they're rushing us or not and he says yes. I try to lock-on but my target system instead latches onto a nearby dragonfly sending my camera for a quick spin.
  • By the time I lock on to the approaching Bloodyfinger, I get a fire arrow off and then send some Lightning Spear support while whoever they are fights my friend.
  • Since my friend's the host, I think that Bloodfinger invaders target him because I think killing a host results in more runes for them.
  • I get one Lightning Spear off but I think my friend kills the invader before my last Lightning Spear even lands.
  • There's a tiny voice in the back of my head that says my flaming arrow was a hostile action and that I should've waited to see what the invader would do ... but now I'll never know. Next time I promise to be more patient.

  • Since this is about the co-op multiplayer mode in Elden Ring, I will be including this quote of information about the game feature here:

[MULTIPLAYER]

Elden Ring has a multiplayer system that allows players to be summoned for both cooperative and player versus player (PvP) play over the Internet.[20] Cooperative play involves the placing of a Summon Sign on the ground, which causes the sign to appear in front of online players. • My friend and I were in Limgrave exploring a dungeon near the lake in Limgrave on our way to fight Flying Dragon Agheel when another player/Bloodyfinger invaded our world.
  • At first we waited down in the dungeon a minute for them but they didn't come down.
  • When we got tired of waiting we saw that they were at the top of the stairs leading out.
  • Whoever they were just sat there and when we finally approached slowly and waved they unequipped their weapons.
  • Sometimes in online games, other players will wait to let you set up your buffs or they'll gesture that they only want to fight one of us.
  • The other player crouched and faced my friend so I pointed at my friend with a gesture to show that I understood.
  • Backing away to let the two of them fight, I tried to get a better angle and watched as the other guy unequipped all his armor just as he and my friend had got close enough to fight.
  • It was rather bizarre to see someone just strip off all their equipment during a duel and we stood there confused as to what exactly had happened.
  • Looking back at it, we've come to the conclusion that maybe they wanted to naked brawl with no weapons or equipment which makes sense since they seemed focused on my friend who's a melee build. I wouldn't have put up much of a fight as a mage class due to very little of my runes going into the Strength stat.
  • Hope you all enjoy this short video and feel free to leave coments below!

  • This is a special post because this is one of my first times enjoying the co-op mode in Elden Ring.
  • I was summoned to Stormveil Castle to help my friend battle through that area to the castle boss -- Godric the Grafted.
  • My friend's friend level is in the 40s or 50s I think, while mine's maybe 70 or 80 here.
  • My melee-magic Confessor build's golden reddish hue took a little getting used to but after that I mostly just enjoyed playing online with another person.
  • Godric the Grafted was already a formidable foe for a mostly long-range magic character like myself -- so watching my friend's melee build get up close and personal with this multi-armed boss was impressive.
  • I kicked off my support with Flame of the Fell God's giant floating fireball for 466 damage and then switched off to Flame Frenzy to see if that would do a better job -- 900 damage!
  • There were a lot of numbers popping up on Godric's health bar since Flame of the Fell God does residual burn damage if the target stays in place but combining the two look to do an okay job .
  • I forgot to mention that in Elden Ring's Co-Op Mode all visitors get their flask number cut in half so since I had 6 originally I was given 3 here.
  • Also you can't ride Torrent which just forces you to just "get good" and fight on foot against the game's diabolical enemies.
  • Godric does his whirlwind attack, jumps, and thankfully doesn't land on me as I do another Flame Frenzy for 600 damage.
  • I back away then get close to do two Flame Frenzies in a row for 400 and 600 damage but accidentally fill up my madness bar all the way and get punished for it -- losing Vigor (health) and FP (magic).
  • Once recovered, I dodge-roll back and hit Godric with a Lightning Spear for 600 damage while my friend the host hacks away at him.
  • Godric does his whirlwind attack, pushing back my friend so I charged-up a Lightning Spear but it misses when Godric tumbles away.
  • After that last fail, I cycle through my items to refill my magic while my friend keeps Godric busy. It's a tough life for a mage, watching the melee-types have fun while you stressfully sit back and cast magic from far away lol.
  • I try to get in close to help but Godric starts doing some wide swinging-attacks and I nearly die while casting a giant fireball that gets interrupted.
  • I start healing while my friend starts clobbering Godric down to half life, triggering the cutscene where this mad king chops off his hand and then morphs a fire-breathing dragon head to the stump ... I swear this game is both so gross but so cool.
  • My friend sees the dragon-head and runs for cover while I, being the genius that I am, run toward the flames and get burned. This forces me to waste some magic to heal again ... not my finest moment.
  • I try to recover by getting closer and launching Flame Frenzy but I'm a bit hesitant and fire it off way too far away and only do 200 damage, wasting even more of my magic.
  • Thinking he's distracted, I attempt to launch a second one but Godric turns around smacks me off my feet, taking half my life.
  • Rolling away up the stairs I charged up a Lightning Spear and, coupled with whatever melee damage my friend is doing, Godric suffers 700 damage.
  • After that, I launch a giant fireball but it only does 300 damage.
  • My friend has been doing a great job keeping up with Godric this whole time, distracting him enough that I can dish out my magical damage.
  • I follow up the giant fireball with a Flame Frenzy that does, or either stacks, to 1000 damage ... but get caught in another dragon-fire attack that nearly kills me.
  • I back up the stairs and see that Godric's gonna release another wave of flames so I heal up just in time to get burned again.
  • When I get up I see my friend's health going down so I decide to just start popping off those giant fireballs for support.
  • The first two get him for burn and explosion damage, doing about 500 each but he tumbles away before the 3rd explosion can get him.
  • Godric interrupts my Flame Frenzy so I start backing up fast to heal and thankfully get out of range of his next flame attack.
  • I float another Flame of the Fell God over for 400 damage and make the mistake of getting too close where I get a giant axe to the face lol.
  • Luckily, Blue Feathered Branchsword saves me. It's a Talisman item that raises my defense when my health is low.
  • Healing again, I get close enough to hit Godric with a Flame Frenzy and then back up to give my friend the chance to finish him.
  • But Godric starts eating his health with these crazy swinging attacks so I throw down two Lightning Spears to help out but it doesn't kill him yet.
  • My friend's asking me to take the shot while Godric's charging up his dragon-arm and that's when the battle ends with some good old-fashioned lightning.
  • After defeating Godric, I get sent back to my world automatically since the boss is dead.
  • Hope you all enjoyed this post!

  • I find a black statue on a cliffside in Caelid that points to the base of a nearby Minor Erdtree ... so I hop down some roots and while riding around looking for the dungeon the black statues point to -- me and Torrent get clobbered out of existence.
  • Respawning at the last Site of Grace I visited, I make my way back to the same Minor Erdtree in Caelid after killing some twisted gold soldiers.
  • Having not experimented with it enough, I summon two ghostly Godrick Soldiers to distract Putrified Avatar while I get my fallen runes.
  • It's funny to shake a bell on the battlefield and summon ghosts to fight for you, but it's also elegant -- like I'm ringing for the arrival of two violent butlers.
  • I Bloodhound Step out of the way, dodging a downward swing from the decaying avatar to see how those two ghosts fair against this boss.
  • They're basically tickling him so I throw a Lightning Spear to help but see that's pretty weak against this boss too.
  • Putrid Avatar does a ground slam with a rot cloud that obliterates my ghosts -- note to self, find stronger ghosts.
  • I rub two of my brain cells together and remember how I beat my first Erdtree Avatar, fire magic, which is perfect because I recently got a new fire spell from Liurnia.
  • Launching Flame of the Fell God, a red floating sun leaves the palm of my hand and does 1000 damage to the boss in a fiery explosion!
  • I bloodhoun-step away and pick up my fallen runes.
  • Putting some quick distance between us with more Bloodhound Steps, I launch my 2nd giant fireball.
  • For some reason I don't dodge in the opposite direction of the boss's movements and get caught on some jars where I get smashed. On a more positive note, that 2nd Flame of the Fell God did another 1000 damage.
  • Somehow I get caught on a root with basically no health left and manage to dodge-roll backwards and evade his hammer staff. I've watched this clip repeatedly and think it's a glitch because he should've definitely caught me with that swing ... anyway I'm still alive.
  • Both my life and magic are low so I go on the offensive and heal my magic to do a 3rd giant fireball which explodes for another 1000 damage.
  • Desperate, Putrid Avatar launches his golden laser shower but I dodge it all and roll away to gift him his 4th giant fireball and he's very near death so he does the poisonous bodyslam that killed my ghosts.
  • I finish the fight how I like -- with a Lightning Spear.
  • For beating Putrid Avatar, I get 9000 runes and Greenburst Crystal Tear and Flame Shrouding Cracked Tear. Not sure what those last two do.
  • Using Bloodhound Step was fun, makes me feel a lot faster.

  • I've seen way too many Youtube videos about this cool Ash of War called Bloodhound Step which allows you to sidestep so fast it looks like teleporting.
  • I've seen Youtube comments complain about how it's been recently nerfed but the idea of moving in any way similar to the Bloodhound Eveergaol was too much temptation for me to fight off -- so I submitted myself to the dangerous unknown hellscape of Caelid.
  • At night near bridges (or at least I think it's near bridges), a shadowy enemy on horseback called the Night Cavalry will sometimes appear.
  • I've fought one in Limgrave that had a flail but the one in Caelid has some kind of giant axe halberd. This hefty weapon is capable of one-shotting me on occaison that my Blue Feathered Branchsword doesn't save me a sliver of health to keep me barely alive.
  • Having met some of the dangerous monsters of Caelid and been plagued with their dreadful rot status effect, it was one of the first Dragon spells I tried to obtain -- Rot Breath. I wasn't able to use it very well due to my Mind stat needing a lot more beefing up but I'm able to use it twice before being completely empty of magic.
  • Dragon Rot Breath is an incredible spell which requires a slightly raised Arcane stat in order to use. I'm not sure if it scales with Faith since it is techinically a dragon spell but it only required a few firings to take down Night Cavalry and watch his health decay away, doubling in passive damage. After that easy part, the hard part was trying to stay alive while waiting for him to die.
  • It took almost ten tries before I resorted to experimenting with Dragon's Rot Breath but I have now met the dark side of the force and am not sure there's any going back from this knowledge of power haha

  • Having defeated Godric the Grafted, the main boss of Stormveil Castle, I found myself in the strange new lands of Liurnia -- It's like a giant misty lake with mountains on either side.
  • I like how misty and mysterious it is, like things disappear here and never return.
  • The enemies in Liurnia are different too -- there's these blue spider monk-like enemies that ride horses or cast heat-seeking spells, there's red fire monks which feels appropriate since there's blue monks. There's also crystals eveywhere and giant crawdads (lobsters?) instead of Limgrave's giant crabs.
  • In this post, I was riding around some of the ruins peaking out of the water of Liurnia and encountered a terrifying sight of several blue monks with heat-seeking spells and a teleporting spider demon monster that felt like a mini-boss.
  • I tried beating this area, Laskyar Ruins, ten times while not on horseback with Torrent which were diabolical catastrophic attempts that should never see the light of day.
  • After which I want to optimistic and say I tried 20 (30? 40? Who's counting?) more times while on Torrent with increasingly bette results.
  • The Black Flames fireball incantation has better tracking while circling but does not activate as quickly as Lightning Spear which I relied on.
  • It's kind of a hauntingly beautiful battlefield, minus the blue spider monks and several spells sailing through the air toward me -- and that demonic spider person that teleports through out the water.
  • In the video, not ten seconds into entering Laskyar Ruins and the demon springs out of the water with its millions of hands (maybe ten or twenty hands?) followed by its army of blue spider monks and their tracking spells.
  • I pick up my fallen runes from my last attempt, my last of many many attempts.
  • Thankfull I've learned to take advantage of Torren'ts double jump ability to avoid surprise air and water attacks from the demon.
  • The latest addition to my strategy -- other than circling around and killing the little monsters before the big monster -- is riding in much larger circles within and around Laskyar Ruins. The spells eventually fade out so if I keep riding and dont' stop moving I can usually find a break period to ride in and attack before the next onslaught of spells.
  • You can actually see the demon creating a trail of teleportation pools inside the water while trying to track me so it can ge close enough to spring out of the water and clobber me.
  • Torrent was truly a trooper in this battle because eveytime I made a bad choice and stopped moving, he took on the brunt of the demon's attacks and kept on galloping.
  • Another helpful feature of this battle was that the casting of the heat-seeking spells was signaled by the ringing of a bell.
  • Oh did I mention that the demon spits out a fountain of poison that lingers on the water for a few seconds? Well he or she, they, or it, does :)
  • Whenever I have to heal I go to the very edge of the Laskyar Ruins because it seems to be outside the demon's teleporting surprise attack range.
  • There's a beautiful momen where I target a blue spider monk on the ruins and my Lightning Spear, just for the monster to move directly behind a tiny tree which I hit. But that's just good aim.
  • At first I think for a moment I'm done but there's a few bells left so I search for the missing stragglers -- the little blue monks playing support for their screaming master.
  • Once they're gone, I fireball that monstrosity to kingdom come, pick up the loot, and toward a transporter at the top of some stairs. Just before getting there, I hear the ringing of a bell but block it out.
  • What a tough fight. Thank the Erdtree for Torrent, he's the trust MVP here. I don't know how in the world I could defeat that area without the mobility that goat-horse gives you. And that double-jump ... it's just chef's kiss perfect.
  • Hope you enjoyed my crazy merry-go-round of death with a Liurnia lake monster that wasn't even a real boss -- oh boy this place might be tough haha

This is a clip from my gameplay footage of 2022's popular video game "Elden Ring" on Playstation 4.

If you're unfamiliar with "Elden Ring", here's some quick info:

[GAMEPLAY] In Elden Ring, players control a customizable player character on a journey to repair the Elden Ring and become the new Elden Lord. The game is presented through a third-person perspective, with players freely roaming its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include combat using several types of weapons and magic spells, horseback riding, and crafting. (Wikipedia)

[STORY] Elden Ring takes place in the Lands Between, a fictional landmass ruled over by several demigods. (Wikipedia)

  • Here we are at the end of Stormveil Castle and beyond this misty veil it's castle boss!
  • Unfortunately I recall one of the doors in this area being locked so hopefully I can return with a key and be able to fully hundred-percent explore this place's every nook and cranny.
  • Anyway, back to the boss fight.
  • I saw that there was a summoning sign for the woman I'd met earlier -- Nepheli Loux, Warrior -- so I asked her to join me in the upcoming battle.
  • Got to love these cut scenes before every battle. They're like mini intro-scenes to who all these powerful mutated beings are.
  • Quite bizarre to see a guy talking to a dead impaled dragon but things only get weirder from here.
  • Godric's the second boss after Grave Warden Duelist who has a cool tossing-off-my-cloak scene, which makes me wonder if that'll be a recurring thing with future bosses.
  • I'm not sure if this guy has enough arms -- but that is one VERY serious axe. Plus, if you look to the left you can see that it's not his only one either lol.
  • Right from the start, I lock-on to him with targeting system.
  • I wish I could say that I was gauging the distance between him with that first missed Lightning Spear but I was expecting him to get a lot closer and was wrong.
  • Luckily, Nepheli is here to distract him as my melee tank while I provide support from afar.
  • My second Lightning Spear lands for 268 damage, not as much as I expected but I see his health bar slightly shortened.
  • I dodge-roll around him, trying to get behind but have to back away as he summons a momentary whirlwind around hiimself and launches himself -- thankfully not in my direction.
  • Then Godric starts throwing wind-tunnels like he's an airbender and I dodge the first one but he catches me with the second, knocking me off my feet and taking a third of my health.
  • I recover by rolling away and throw another Lightning Spear but it misses due to Godric jumping away to attack Nepheli.
  • Closing the distance with some dodge-rolling, I throw another Lightning Spear for 268 damage again. Lightning is quick but might not be the way to go here -- but I'm stubborn and try it again twice, doing 268 damage each time.
  • After that last bolt, Godric starts paying attention to me and runs while dragging his giant axe and clobbers me with it. This leaves me with maybe a sixth of health left.
  • Nepheli does her job and grabs his attention back so I further myself and heal three times until my health's almost full.
  • Since Lightning wasn't doing the best damage I switch to Black Flames for over 500 damage, plus burn damage. This does much more of a number on Godric's health bar.
  • This is where I get a little full of myself and try to hit him with an Ashs of War, Impaling Thrust, that falls short just in time for him to whack me with his axe. This sends my health back to 50%.
  • Nepheli comes to my rescue and distracts Godric again. This gives me the chance to charge-up another Black Flames fireball and hit for almost 600 damage plus burn.
  • He does a whirlwind and I throw another Black Flames fireball but it does less damage, maybe because of the whirlwind.
  • My next fireball misses and I see that he's gotten closer to me so I run to the side.
  • I try to charge-up another attack but he does his axe-dragging attack and send me back to a fifth or sixth of my health!
  • After that first devastating hit, Godric tries to slice me with both of his axes but I manage to roll out of their range.
  • Once he's distracted by Nepheli again, I throw another black fireball for 600 damage.
  • When Godric's health falls to half, he does the unthinkable and chops off his left arm!
  • He's got nothing but a bleeding stump and then turns to the dead impaled dragon and somehow grafts its head to his arm -- but the strangest part is somehow the dragon's alive again now but just connected to his body and spewing flames.
  • I try to get out of range of the fire attack but the range on it is impressive, after getting back up I return with a quick Lightning Spear.
  • Now his whirlwind attack is combined wiht some kind of ground-fire move, which makes me feel bad for Nepheli.
  • I'm very curious as to how the dragon is somehow alive despite being dead earlier but I remember ... MAGIC lol.
  • Godric gets closer and replies to my next Lightning Spear with a wind tunnel attack except this time it's got fire in it!
  • I see him charge up his dragon arm for another fire attack and quickly drink a Crimson Flask (health potion) which acts as the perfect buffer for the fire damage he does to me.
  • He hits me with it twice while I'm trying to run away lol and I just look pathetic getting scorched and knocked off my feet again and again.
  • The Elden gods save me the next instant with a well-placed pair of tombstones that block Godric's next dragon-fire attack.
  • But the dragon-fire attack is different this time, instead of a repeating flamethrower -- chunks of flaming debris rain down from above and cover the ground with fire.
  • I honestly have no idea how none of that fiery shower hit me but I'm very grateful to see Nepheli is still alive -- I can't do this without her.
  • Godric starts doing his flaming whirlwind and tumbling around like a volcanic Sonic the hedgehog so I wish Nepheli good luck and start refilling my FP with Cerulean Flasks (magic potions).
  • And thanks to Nepheli I get to inch closer and closer and charge-up a Flame Frenzy incantation which does 400 damage but looks to shorten his health bar by a bit before knocking me over.
  • I pull back and heal then launch a Dragon spell -- Magic Breath! This does a hefty amoutn of damage but uses up most of my FP bar so it's more of a last resort.
  • Feeling proud of myself, I refill my FP with a Cerulean Flask (magic potion) and due to my bravado get burned by Godric's next dragon fire attack.
  • We have a quick stand-off where I launch the Magic Breath again but shortly after I summon it for minor damage he interrupts it with his flaming debris attack.
  • For the first time in the entire batle, I dodge his dragon-flame attack but notice that Nepheli is nowhere in sight ... she was a brave fighter who aided me well.
  • Finish the battle off with a charged-up Lightning Spear. I dedicate this attack to Nepheli. Hopefully she responds in warrior heaven.
  • It doesn't kill him and he tumbles away toward the edge!
  • I dodge-roll for a better angle and charge-up another Lightning Bolt and fell my first demi-god!
  • Godric turns to dust and I earn my first Great Rune and an item called Remembrance of the Grafted!
  • In conclusion, Godric was an interesting fight but I'd also leveled myself up ahead of time to prepare so he wasn't as difficult as Margit. Can't wait to see what kind of bosses are next!
  • Hope you enjoyed this boss fight!
  • Feel free to leave comments below!
  • See you guys on the next post of my Elden Ring adventure!

  • Can't remember where I was for this battle but I think this was Limgrave or Liurnia.
  • This was an interesting Evergaol boss fight because it required me to use up a Stonesword Key in ordre to activat the purple circle.
  • I deactivate my blue marker by walking thru it and head over to the glowing circle.
  • As per usual, I loko for the purple inter-dimensional tear and my enemy materializes.
  • This boss feels taller than usual but that's probably because of how skinny he is -- Crucible Knight was probably the same height.
  • Ancient Hero is kind of creepy because of how slow he moves, like he doesn't have a care in the world.
  • I throw a Lightning Spear and he dodges out of the way.
  • I'm a bit shocked but think it's probably just a fluke and wait for him to move forward toward me and hit again to do 400 damage.
  • While the lightning damage is decent, I switch to Flame Frenzy to see if this boss has a weakness for fire over lightning.
  • He hops out of the way again but unlucky for him is that Flame Frenzy's a wide attack and catches him at the end for almost 300 damage which makes me wonder if a full blast would do 600.
  • I'm surprised to see for the first time in the game -- an ice attack where the boss blows a widening cone of frost across the ground which catches me. The nice thing is that it doesn't do too much damage but it starts filling up a ice status bar which worries me a little.
  • I try to reply back with a charged-up Flame Frenzy incantation but he moves a lot quicker and hits me with his spear/scythe, taking a fourth of my life.
  • He dodges another Lightning Spear.
  • I switch to Black Flames and I can almost hear him laugh while dodging such a slow attack.
  • I try to catch him with a counterattack fireball but I tumble twice instead of once and he recovers and dodges.
  • This ice attack hits me again -- its gets wider the further out it goes -- and it fills up my ice status-effect bar even more than before.
  • I run sideways and wait for him to do a jump attack and dodg-roll once perfectly and hit him with a Black Flames fireball for over 300 damage but he quickly swipes me with his scythe while getting an explosion to the face -- so we trade damage.
  • This boss's life is half down now so he adds an ice effect to his weapon which I'm curious about since I haven't fought a lot of ice guys.
  • I refill my FP bar with a Cerulean Flask (magic potion) and am caught off guard by the speed of his next jump attack which starts up the ice status bar again.
  • He hits me with it again almost killing me -- but thankfully my Blue Feathered Branchsword talisman saves me.
  • Ironically despite freeze damage slowing targets in most games, this boss speeds up after putting ice effect on his weapon.
  • I see him start to blow ice on his hand so I drink a quick Crimson Tear (health potion) which thankfully buffers my damage -- but this time his ice one attack has ice spikes popping out of the ground. This dude needs to get defeated fast before he starts showing even more new tricks.
  • I wait for him to rush me and time a Black Flames fire ball and hit him mid-run before dodge-rolling out of the way.
  • He tries to do the same thing again so he gets the same burning result.
  • This next instant made no sense to me -- he almost jump/teleports to my position and swipes at me but the attack goes right thru me despite my late-rolling.
  • Of course that impossible dodge gets me too hyped and I do my Ash of War, Impaling Thrust, which misses ... so embarrassing.
  • Thankfully I put some distance between us after my shameful attack and luckily escape a large frosty whirlwind attack.
  • This guy really starts breaking open his new bag of tricks and jumps out of the whirlwind with a scythe attack which somehow misses me while I'm summoning a black fireball that later kills him with burn damage.
  • I'm afraid to think how this battle would've gone if the fight had lasted any longer because this guy was doing more and more powerful attacks as time went on.
  • For winning this fight, I get a Radagon's Scarseal talisman.
  • Hope you enjoyed this post!

  • Here we are, the end of the 3 Stone Golem fight.
  • There are only two golems left and I'm gonna try to get them to kill each other.
  • I do a little healing since I'm probably gonna get a little bit beat trying to accomplish this.
  • One of the golems manages to knock down the other at first.
  • There's an instnat when I get caught in a double swing from both of them but right after one of them releases their devastating flame-thrower attack and kills the other.
  • I do a little happy gesture -- Triumphant Delight and turn around to face the final golem.
  • I dodge its last attack and switch it up to try a dragon incantation that drains way too much of my FP.
  • After this, I go to the end of the bridge and find a transporter that takes me to another bridge and a gigantic door that I unfortunately cannot open ... but hopefully will be able to in the future!

  • So we last left off in my previous video with that giant bladed lion and I killing each other at the same time which made me laugh.
  • I respawn at the Site of Grace near the front gate and have to clear out the greeting party once again.
  • I dodge the first ballista bolts but get nailed by the second and start tumbling my way to take them out again.
  • But they hit me again, knock me off my feet again. Nearly killing me.
  • With a tiny sliver of life left, I sprint up and thankfully the steps block the next volley of bolts -- because the Greater Will protects its strongest Tarnished lol
  • I consider using a healing incantation spell but opt for a Crimson Flask instead since potions are faster.
  • Somehow my first Lightning Bolt gets stopped by a wooden box that breaks ... not sure how that negated my spell but it sure made me feel silly.
  • There's a cool amount when I kill the 3rd bowman where I somehow dodge an arrow while throwing a Lightning Spear.
  • This time I don't get ambushed by the swordsman from my previous run and zap a guy trying to target me from below.
  • It's funny how all the arrows you get hit with stay on your body. Truly adds some realism but also some comedy too when your'e walking around with an arrow in your head and somehow not dead.
  • I think the guy I zapped somehow got behind me last time because the torchbearer is still there entirely clueless.
  • I take him and the three guys below but forget about the othe swordsman again who runs out and stabs me from the shadows.
  • They take out half my life but I press their tiny shield with enough thrusts and break through, killing him.
  • I heal and make my way up to battle more enemies, including the big axe man.
  • Switching to my crossbow I try luring some down but they just shoot arrows back at me.
  • Blue Feathered Branchsword kicks in and saves me from a series of arrows so I run off to hide.
  • When I try to rush the enemies again, they resort to kicking me nonstop like a gang initiation so I tumble away and scorch them with Flame Frenzy.
  • After healing, I grab my runes from when I died killing the giant bladed lion then go after the gatemen.
  • The axe man nearly kills me when I try to melee fight him and the last two stab me twice when I misjudge their speed.
  • I explore the Bladed Lion's arena a bit for loot but nothing's left.
  • There's this strange room further on the path with these knight statues that freaks me out but thankfully they don't move.
  • After fighting so many gargoyles I have a hard time trussting statues.
  • I find a Site of Grace at the bottom of some stairs leading up to a bridge.
  • There's a dead Tarnished nearby so I know some trouble is close. Their body gives me a new talisman that reduces lightning-damage.
  • The Stormhill bridge has golem bodies laying around but thankfully they're dead. I look around over the edge for secret ledges or pathways but find none.
  • That's when I see it -- a live stone-golem rising from teh ground but that's not it ... nearby to the right a second stone-golem stands up too.
  • My magic doesn't really damage them that well so I try to run past them to make enough distance to cast charged-up spells.
  • I jump over the 1st stone golem's attack and charge up a Black Flames fireball but get smashed by teh 2nd stone golem's halberd.
  • I run away and notice a giant stone arrow vanish an instant before getting hit by another one -- in the distance I see a 3rd stone golem with a giant bow and arrow lol.
  • I try to dodge around and hide behind a column but the shockwave from the arrow hitting the ground still damages me.
  • Healing myself a bit, I turn the camera and the two halberd golems creeping closer and try to come up with a plan ... time to use my early troll strategy. Too weak to kill multiple strong enemies? Maneuver around them and make them kill each other.
  • I move closer to the archer golem and take a health potion to pad my bar enough for the next arrow that's aimed point-blank at my head.
  • Runing around behind the archer golem I get the two other golems to knock the archer off their feet before I die.
  • When I respawn, I rush Stormhill Bridge and try to run past the first two golems -- but get swiped by the second and nailed by the third's arrow.
  • This time I hide a safe distance behind a column but get hit thrice by the halberd and flame attacks and arrows in a combo that somehow doens't kill me -- thank you Deathbird talisman :)
  • I grab my fallen runes and combine my Flame Frenzy with one of the other halberd golems to knock over the archer golem.
  • While it's great that one of the halberd golems uses a flame attack on the archer golem, I get stuck on their stunned body and burned as well.
  • The archer golem gets killed with one more swipe from his buddies -- one down, two to go!
  • The rest is just me angling myself so the last two golems attacks hit eacah other while I douse them with Black Flames fireballs.
  • They almost kill me a couple times but now I can maintain a safe distance without worrying about giant arrows :)
  • A minute later I almost get killed again because I run into a dead golem's body blocking my path.
  • They're not dead yet but this is the end of part two ... see you guys in part 3!
  • Hope you enjoyed this continuation of my Stormveil adventure.
  • See you all in the next Elden Ring post!

  • After defeating Margit Fell Omen who was guarding the entrance to Stormveil Castle, I was finally able to get inside.
  • Within you meet a strange servant or slave who offers you a choice between storming the front-gates or taking a side route which he recommends.
  • Having completed the side route and finally opened the front gate from within, I'm not sure what would've been easier.
  • The sideroute can be confusing and there's a bunch of traps and difficult to maneuver passages.
  • There was even a dark tiny room where I had to fight a knight that could do whirlwind attacks. Unfortunately that may have been before I lantern I could wear on my waist.
  • After completing the sideroute and opening the front gate, I ran into a rather large enemy -- not even a boss, but still rather deadly. In short, they killed me and I had to kill a few more enemies all over again.
  • I respawn at the Site of Grace in a room near the wheel that opens the front gate. Before I pressed record I'd gotten hit by some kind of ballista that fires multiple bolts which took maybe a fourth of my life.
  • Luckily I sprinted outside and their next three shots narrowly missed me as I made my way up to them.
  • Running up the stairs I found my 4 culprits and returned the favor by throwing some bolts of my own at them. The last guy was a little tricky because of the angle of me firing my magic upward.
  • While grabbing some loot from the other enemies bodies, a dude with a sword ambushes me from behind and starts hacking away at my health!
  • Thankfully I tumble away, reorient myself and finish him off with my Estoc thrusting sword.
  • I heal myself twice and refill my FP (magic bar) while watching another dude downstairs make his way up toward me. Once he's withing range, I charge up a Lightning Spear and let him have it.
  • Going down, I sneak up on some other soldiers and switch to a Black Flames fireball so that the explosion kills multiple enemies.
  • When I go down to loot their bodies I get attacked by this airbending swordsman but manage to kill him.
  • Seeing more opponents up the hill from me, I switch to Flame Frenzy and let my madness rain down on them.
  • It hits most of them but there's still quite a few left. I try to launch another Flame Frenzy incantation spell but get interrupted by a bunch of arrows and a deadly axe to the face that almost kills me.
  • Thankfully one of my Talisman items -- Blue Feathered Branchsword -- activates, upping my defense since my health is low.
  • I reply with a quick and deadly Lightning Spear.
  • Being riddled with arrows and low on health, I retreat to a side of the hill and hide behind a tree to heal. Elden Ring is full of obstacles and objects to hide behind but sometimes these can be a lot more fragile than they look and destroyed by enemies.
  • After healing I run back up the hill and take down the rest of the archers while being riddled with more arrows.
  • Once they bowman are dead I go after some nearby gatemen but launch my Flame frenzy from too far away and get tripled stabbed but survive and finish them off.
  • I heal again, loot the dead, and make my way toward the enemy that killed me last time -- even gesturing a hello to them as I creep toward my fallen runes.
  • Funnily enough, my fallen runes lay right near the giant bladed lion so I have to wait for him to move out of the way.
  • I shower him with Lightning Spears since they'refast and have good range but this lion realy keeps the pressure up and does not rent at all except for a short pause after jump attacks.
  • I'm nearly killed a few times but my Blue Feathered Branchsword talisman leaves a little bit of health to run away. (It's signified by that transparent orb around my torso when my health is low).
  • When the bladed lion's health is low enough I heal my health and magic and try to launch a dragon spell that does magic damage but he interrupts it.
  • Were both super low on health so I launch the same dragon magic-breath attack again and we manage to kill each other at the same time -- but their death counts as a victory and I get items before I die.

  • This post covers my victory fight with Crucible Knight, one of the Evergaol bosses in Limgrave.
  • You summon Evergaol bosses by walking up to these purple circles in the middle of stone circles that are hidden around the map.
  • Activating these purple circles, sends your Elden Ring player to a pocket dimension where you battle these optional bosses.
  • While initially not the fastest boss, Crucible Knight was pretty sturdy when I first met him earlier in the game -- but now thanks to leveling up a bit my attacks are making more than a small dent to his life bar.
  • The moment he materializes I zap him with a Lightning Spear which does a nice chunk of damage but he still rushes at me -- his armor still crackling with electricity from my attack.
  • The strategy for this fight was my usual -- keep my distance -- plus hitting him with Lightning Spears when he wasn't holding up his shield.
  • Crucible Knight's attacks get more and more vicious as his life bar disappears, and he reveals some interesting tricks after half his health is gone.
  • It was a fun battle and really great to finally beat him after losing so many times in the past.

(Wikipedia)

  • Grave Warden Duelist is a dungeon boss in Limgrave. He's from one of the dungeons with the angry little gargoyle creatures that hide on the walls and ceilings.
  • This Limgrave dungeon boss is a great example of an early boss who I first encountered on probably day 1 or 2 of staring Elden Ring, that just felt invincible since I hadn't adjusted to the movemt mechanics of the game.
  • In "Elden Ring," you do a lot of dodging ... wait let me rephase that ... in "Elden Ring" you're ALWAYS dodging. In fact, you're either dodging or you're dying. Movement is key to surviving in this game.
  • So when I first encountered Grave Warden Duelist, he'd throw off that cloak and just batter the crap out of me.
  • Thankfully I've started making advancements into Stormveil Castle, the red hellscape of Caelid, and even beaten two bosses in the underground region of Sofiara River so I felt prepared to fight this guy again.
  • If there's one thing that Elden Ring has almost too much of, it has to be style. I couldn't get over what a badass rocker move it was for Grave Warden Duelist to toss off his cloak and rush me like some berserk gladiator.
  • Like a lot of enemies in this game, he was a bit weak to magic so I showed him with some Flames of Frenzy and took out a good chunk of life. Then let him get a little too close for comfort and fired off two more before letting my madness bar rest (when it fills up I lose health, magic, and I think stamina too).
  • That last magic attack is so potent it breaks his stance and leaves him open for a critical strike.
  • But if there's one thing I learned it's that strong enemies recover pretty quickly so I summon a Black Flames fire ball to give him some burn damage.
  • It takes out a lot of his health and I get cocky and resort to hiding behind a column and try to charge up a Lightning Spear but Warden Duelist surprises me by doing a jump attack that nearly kills me.
  • I dodge away and heal just in time to receive another near-lethal attack but luckily survive.
  • After dodging and healing some more, I realize I haven't actually hit him with my sword yet but don't push my luck and hit him with a charged up Lightning Spear instead, killing him. Better safe than sorry.
  • Sometimes even though I win a fight, I imagine all the possible ways I could've completed it with a bit more style -- like with Impaling Thrust or a shield counterattack or with a bow or crossbow. Surviving and winning is most important but I can't help but wish I could get another rematch despite me already having won.

  • I'd recently just escaped the underground region of the Lands Between called Sofiara River ... and then found myself in the unforgiving hellscape of Caelid haha.
  • What's that saying -- from the frying pan into the fire?
  • Exiting the elevator building, I look up to see a red nightmarish sky and find myself at a cross roads.
  • I see the nearby light of a Seat of Grace and visit it quick just in case.
  • I decide to turn left at first and find a bunch of Faded Erdleaf Flowers which are a new ingredient I haven't found before.
  • I follow the trail of flower to some small grey hill in the distance.
  • But I was wrong -- as I get closer it starts to move and when I click R3 (right analog stick on ps4 controllers) the target lock-on system triggers and the hill moves.
  • It turns around, revealing a grey-version of those giant bears in Limgrave.
  • Except this bear's a long stronger and kills me in three swipes while I try to run away -- Torrent doesn't even stand a chance and dies quickly.
  • When I respawn at the nearby Seat of Grace outside the elevator building.
  • Taking the path to the left was a mistake but I revisit to pick up my runes because that's just what you do as a Tarnished in Elden Ring.
  • After grabbing them, I sneakily return to the elevator building and decide to take the right path. I tell myself this one will be a nice safe route but it's covered in exploding piles of rocks and when I get past them some giant magical explosion knocks me off my feet -- taking 75% of my life with it.
  • In the distance I see the tall silhouette of a stone golem armed with a magic bow and arrows ... how lovely.
  • Luckily I'm saved from certain death by a platform of rocks that take the next hit while I scramble for cover.
  • I heal myself and then summon Torrent to speed up to the golem's feet to hack away with my sword.
  • It does a little damage but I quickly switch to Flame Frenzy which staggers it into falling stuck between a rock platform and a rock wall. It's frozen there for a while and I pelt it with Black Flame fireballs until making the unwise decision to reposition myself which frees it.
  • Luckily my madness bar is low enough so I cast Flame Frenzy again, breaking its stance. After continuing my rain of magic, I kill it with my signature Lightning Spear.
  • There's the corpse of a Tarnished nearby so I loot it for a big spiky shield I probably won't use for a while.
  • And just after grabbing that shield, I get hit with another giant magic arrow ... because there's another giant Stone Golem at the end of the path with a magic bow and more magic arrows lol.
  • I summon Torrent again and ride along the right rock-wall for cover.
  • Accidently I waste some magic arrows searching for my Healing incantation and ride out to confront the Stone Golem archer, barely missing another giant magic arrow.
  • The great thing about this 2nd stone golem archer, despite its devastating fire breath, is that there's a lot of room around it so I circle it on Torrent and pitch Black Flame fireballs at it.
  • After dodging its flamethrower attack, I back up and finish this Stone Golem the same I did the first -- Lightning Spear.
  • Riding up the hill and following more Faded Elder Flowers I find a giant talking jar who sets down 3 Tarnished summoning markers for me to choose from.
  • They all look a bit formiddable so I decided to just mark this place on the mark with three death-skulls to symbolize the danger lol.
  • I'll return to this spot again in the future ... but too much time in Caelid makes me miss Limgrave so I head back.
  • Hope you enjoyed this video!

  • Tree Sentinel is one of the first bosses of the game you encounter who's basically impossible to beat when you start, so you end up leaving to find other things to do -- like weak enough opponents for you to vent your frustration out on lol.
  • I returned to Limgrave to avenge my past defeats but found my first attempt to fight Tree Sentinel on foot resulted in defeat once again.
  • But seeing that Tree Sentinel was on horseback, made me think that Torrent would be my greatest ally in this fight.
  • In my next attempt, I sped around like a maniac -- double jumping all over the place so that Tree Sentinel could rarely land a hit while I threw Lightning Spear after Lightning Spear.
  • There were a few times when he surprised me by reflecting my incantations back at me with his golden shield, which I thought was pretty epic.
  • I wondered if he'd drop that shield when I defeated him.
  • Near the end of the fight, I let him hit me a couple times to guarantee my charged-up Lightning Spears landed.
  • It was strangely poetic that before my last couple Lightning attacks, it started to rain which increases the power of Lightning attacks. Perhaps Zeus approved of my fighting style and wanted to lend me some aid.
  • It felt nice to strike Tree Sentinel down and while he didn't drop that cool magic-reflecting shield, I did grab his sweet-looking halberd.
  • It's weird to see how much stronger my melee-magic confessor has gotten since I started the game but Limgrave's only the beginning of the game and there's a lot more terrifying areas to explore.

  • This clip covers a boss battle I had in an underground region of the Lands Between, called Sofiara River. I could see roots from the Erdtrees high above me along with some sparkling stuff which made the ceiling of the giant cavern look like the night sky.
  • The most common enemy there are the Ancestral Followers, blue glowing ogre-looking people with axes and devasating magic bows who sometimes attack you alongside frenzied rats.
  • There's also a bunch of wart hogs, giant crabs, and floating balls of energy that zap you with powerful arcs of lightning if you get too close to them.
  • This underground area, Sofiara River, is accesible via an elevator in a building in the South of Limgrave, and is also where I fought the Dragonkin Soldier boss from one of my previous videos.
  • In order to fight this video's boss, you first set fire to bowls on eight obelisk-looking columsn spread around the map -- some of which are guarded by the blue glowing ogres.
  • I rode my horse up to the weird elk or moose-like remains and things got kind of trippy from there.
  • Touching the remains, teleports you to a dark cavern that ends in the largest misty boss-veil I've ever seen. You usually see these in Elden Ring when a boss fight's nearby. When I saw how massive the golden misty veil was, I started swinging my camera around looking for summonable cooperators (A.I. followers you can temporarily summon to help you) but saw no summoning marks in sight.
  • I tried to check my inventory but couldn't change my magic due to no Seat of Grace being nearby.
  • Going through the veil, takes you to some kind of astral arena where a giant ghostly elk jumps around in the air and tries to gore you to death with its massive antlers.
  • I'm so used to fighting while quickly riding around on Torrent so losing all that mobility was a bit of a shock for me. Thankfully I was able to dodge around and fire off some long-range Lightning Spears. Black Flame fireballs would probably be a lot more effective but this was my first atempt so I wasn't exactly sure what was the best strategy yet.
  • Ancestral Spirit was surprisingly one of the less aggressive bosses I've faced so far in Elden Ring and they didn't do as much damage as I expected them to.
  • All this is coming from a melee/mage Confessor build that focuses on faith-based incantations so take my words with a grain of salt. I could see this battle proving quite troublesome for a more close-range player.
  • This was one of the battles that kind of made me feel funny afterward. I wanted to know what this boss's story was, why it was attacking me, and why I had to kill it. If you've ever watched "Princess Mononoke," the Ancestral Spirit kind of looks like the God of the Forest from that movie -- so killing this boss made me feel like a bad guy.
  • Anyway, another "great enemy" felled and more runes added to my pocket to get even stronger for this both paradiscal and nightmarish landscape of the Lands Between.
  • Hope you enjoyed this post!

  • I find myself in the subterranean region of the Lands Between called Siofra River. Above me I can see roots from erdtrees and what look like stars, it's pretty surreal. There's also a castle high above me that makes me wonder what the heck is going on and how do I get there?
  • I don't have very good videos of this area but I do have this clip of me finally beating a Great Enemy far below the surface of the Lands Between: The Dragonkin Soldier.
  • This was my 12th attempt lol, 2nd attempt on horse which made me feel stupid because riding around on Torrent made this battle stupidly easier.
  • Previously I was trying to time the crawling Dragonkin Soldier's arm swipes like I was a pure melee build which I'm not and kept getting demolished over and over.
  • Since I'm part mage, I'm part glass-cannon so drastically increasing my mobility was a god-send.
  • I start off the battle by grabbing my fallen runes from the last time my Tarnished died.
  • I try Lightning Spear at first but it's not that affective and harder to cast on horseback.
  • This almost costs me the battle because I lose a lot of health.
  • Thankfully I recover and begin casting Black Flames fireballs instead which I can do without slowing down by much and do incredible burn damage.
  • I was expecting him to stand up at some point or jump toward me but he never does.
  • I just keep circling him on Torrent and tossing fireballs the whole fight -- this is how mages win fights, I'll leave the fancy close-up battles to the Berserk roleplayers lol.
  • I don't know why but I love ending battles with a charged-up Lightning Spear, it's just very cinematic.
  • Defeating Dragonkin Soldier earns me a Dragon Halberd which looks pretty dope.

  • This video is my 2nd attempt at the Erdtree Avatar near the Minor Erdtree in the Southern parts of ... I think it's called Limgrave (?)
  • Anyway, I start the fight by dodge-rolling to pick up my runes from earlier and then put some distance between me and the boss.
  • The Erdtree Avatar looks like a fat headless wizard made out of wood and wields a giant hammer-like staff.
  • As per usual, and since he's made out of wood, I use the Flame Frenzy incantation and take out almost one-fourth of its life.
  • He swings his staff around but hits nothing but air so I light him up again with Flame Frenzy and its so effective it breaks his stance, allowing me to roll on in for a critical-hit.
  • Due to Flame Frenzy damaging me with madness if I cast three times in a row too quick, I switch to the Flame Sling incantation and toss a fireball at him while waiting for my madness bar to go down.
  • Flame Sling does nice damage but it's not as devastating as Flame Frenzy.
  • I dodge-roll away from his swings and toss another fire ball at him while he stabs the ground with his staff ... and summons a shower of golden laser beams.
  • They're not too hard to evade as long as you have enough stamina but while I was focused on the lasers this giant tree wizard hits me hard with his staff -- taking out more than half my life.
  • I'm a bit stunned by that so I summon Torrent which is amazing since it's super-helpful to be able to create some major distance between you and a strong enemy, especially if you need to heal.
  • After riding away, I jump off and start casting Heal incantations to fix my lifebar but Erdtree decides he's ready to rain the same shower of lasers down on me again but thankfully I get out of the way and dodge-roll diagonally-away from both hime and the lasers and this time escape his groundslam hit.
  • When I'm far away again, I launch another fully-charged Flame Frenzy but he decides to fight through the pain and brings down the hammer. I'm down 75% on my health again.
  • I get as far away as I can and drink a Crimson Tear Flask for my life since I don't want to risk dying while casting Heal -- and this dude decides to stab the ground again and summon his damn lasers.
  • I don't get hit by any of them but since my magic is low I go for a Flame Sling fireball instead of Flame Frenzy.
  • And with that last fireball, it's strike three for this boss and he's out of here.
  • For killing this headless tree wizard, I get a Opuline Bubbletear and Crimsonburst Crystal Tear. No idea what those two do but it sounds awesome.
  • Hope you enjoyed this boss fight!

  • The Leonine Misbegotten can be found on a small cemetary island behind a gate in the back of Castle Morne.
  • My first couple attempts I still had a hard time remembering this boss's pattern of attack and when exactly to dodge-roll. Also, I relied heavily on magic and rarely ever used my broad sword or my broad-sword's Ash of War, Impaling Thrust which I found to be effective against this boss.
  • There's no summoned cooperator for this battle but you really don't need one since he's nowhere near as hardy as someone like Margit Fell Omen.
  • I started the battle by picking the right distance to cast my incantation Flame Frenzy in it's fully-charged form to full effect. This resulted in Leonine Misbegotten losing almost a fifth of its health bar.
  • This boss usually does 2 to 4 horizontal attacks at a time which require the horizontal evasion of dodge-rolling. They also roar but I was never close enough to see if that had any special effect. As a melee-mage build, I try not to get too close -- peppering with magic from afar and then finishing off with some melee.
  • With a second Flame Frenzy I knock its life down to almost half but am not far enough and get caught in an attack that nearly kills me.
  • I heal once but instead of backing up, I push my luck and heal a second time and get swiped by Leonine's long great sword.
  • Luckily, I'm able to dodge it's neck two attacks even when it moves the camera by jumping high into the air.
  • While it's trying to pull its sword out of the ground, I finally decide to use my sword too and use Impaling Thrust.
  • Being a creature of habit, I put some distance between us again and heal and then push my luck again with a second heal and get knocked off my feet.
  • And just like before, while Leonine's pulling his sword out of the ground I hit him with another Ash of War, Impaling Thrust.
  • To my surprise, he hit me back with a quick vertical strike which was pretty smart since I rolled away from him instead of to the side.
  • I back up after this and find some gravestones for cover before refilling my magic with a drink from my Cerulean Tear Flask and my health with a Crimson Tear Flask.
  • Being far away, I launch a Flame Frenzy twice and he dodges half of both but stillg gets burned quite a bit.
  • I'm not sure why I collect the fallen runes since it's zero at this point but it's a good habit.
  • When he gets close enough I hit him with an Impaling Thrust which to my luck stuns him, or in Elden Ring "breaks their stance" allowing me to launch a critical-hit stab that ends the fight.
  • In the end I get the Grafted Blade Greatsword which would be great if I was using great swords but is still a nice new addition to my collection of boss items.

  • I finally found the Bloodhound Evergaol. It definitely looked cooler than that Knight Evergaol who sliced me to death.
  • Bloodhound has the cool ability to dash so quickly it looks like they're teleporting.
  • They were very weak to magic, especially Flame of Frenzy which decimated its health bar.
  • It got a few good swings in and nearly killed me once but I I used Impaling Thrust and showed this boss who's boss.

* Finally after leaving to level up some, I have returned to take on this cinematic villain who questioned my ambitions as a Tarnished.

  • I of course summoned an cooperator to help me because I needed them to distract Margit while I Impaling Thrusted him to kingdom come into order to stagger him and then set him ablaze with Flame Frenzy my new favorite Incantation.
  • Thankfully my summoned cooperator was able to survivie long enough for me to take out more than half of Margit's life.
  • He had some really cool attacks, all those light-construct weapons -- the daggers, sword, and big hammer.
  • In the end, I finished him off and got a Talisman Pouch which was awesome. He was still muttering about something even though he was basically a ghost now but now I can finally enter Stormveil Castle and see what's going on in there.

  • I saw @allama fight an Evergaol boss in one of their posts. It was the Bloodhound Knigh Darriwel which looked like a super awesome creature with a long sword that dashed around so fast it looked like it was teleporting.
  • Unfortunately I went to the wrong spot lol and met this dude instead -- Crucible Knight, who was a lot slower and seemed easy to manage at the start but then kept kicking my butt as time went on.
  • It was really my fault for not dodgerolling far away enough and getting caught over and over by the tip of his blade.
  • Also my timing for my incantations was off so my Flame-Sling fireballs kept hitting his shield.
  • My Elden Ring experience is full of triumphs and defeats.
  • Hope you enjoyed this short video!

  • I have no idea where I was at the time of this mini-boss fight. Next time I'll make a note to show my map at the end of the fight.
  • The Cemetary Shade looked a little menacing at first, being a horned shadow with scythes for arms that teleported around like it was made of smoke.
  • Fortunatley it's attack pattern wasn't too hard to read or get used-to. It mostly swung at the air and rarely used it's most deadly move, some kind of poison squirt from its head that I don't think ever fully hit me.
  • The real enemy in this fight was the lack of visibility in the room where you meet Cemetary Shade. I kept having to reposition my camera so that there was a light source behind it to illuminate their body.
  • It was very weak to my Flame Sling fireballs and my Flame Frenzy eye flames.
  • After defeating it, I got some kind of ghost figurine of Llutel the Headless which was nice. Collectible's are always welcome, especially if I can sell it for something valuable later on.
  • Hope you enjoyed this video!

  • I think the location is the cave next to the kneeling knight near the woods northeast of the Church of Elleh and the Tree Sentinel.
  • There's five or six wolves inside that aren't much trouble if you're leveled up enough or sneak up on them with ranged attacks.
  • There's some items to pick up further in the dark but if you to the right of where you enter there's a passageway to what looks like a mini-boss (I call them mini-bosses because after I killed Margit the Fell Omen the game said I killed a "great boss" so I'd rather just call guys like Margit regular bosses and non-greats, minis).
  • I use a shield at first to try and quick-learn Beastman's attack pattern but either that's a bad strategy or my Endurance/Strength stats are too weak ... I think those deal with how strong my shield block is .
  • I put some distance between him and I then try hacking away but he keeps breaking my block and staggering me.
  • My sword hits pretty well but my life can't handle an up-close fight so after some bad dodging and health potions I decide to just pepper him with Flame-Sling fire balls.
  • Near the end, I remember my trusty Ash of War called Impaling Thrust which is such a great long-range sword move and looks awesome.
  • I kill him with a couple more of Ash of War Thrust and realize I really didnt need to use magic or my shield at all but Elden Ring, like anything else, is a (re)learning experience.
  • Hope you enjoyed this post!

  • I was trying to take on these enemies at Castle Morne all at once with no strategy on my first go -- but I was quickly reminded that I was not a tank type.
  • Thankfully I went through my inventory and found a crossbow and some bolts which I could use to lure enemies from afar one by one.
  • Another super useful thing is that I found and memorized a new spell, Flame of Frenzy which is great at attacking multiple enemies at once. The only downside about my magic is other than distance-attacks and ambush-strikes, my casting can feel a bit slow so I'll need to start dumping more runes into Dexterity for that.
  • I had a brain-fart moment with the Golden Pumpkinhead and tried attacking his head with Flame Sling and crossbow bolts. Thankfully I came to my senses and dealt him a fatal Impaling Thrust, which is a really great melee move.
  • I found the flying goblins troublesome last time I played but made quick work of the first one and watched as the second one jumped off the perch and forgot how to use its wings. Maybe that was a glitch but it made me laugh.
  • I was sneaking up on a distant enemy and got tunnel-visioned, having not paid attention to my surroundings. A larger flightless goblin caught me by surprise.
  • I found some guy at the top of the last tower who gave me a Sacrificial Twig and basically told me to give up on saving Castle Morne. It was sad but also made the entire trip there feel slightly pointless.
  • Thankfully afterward I wandered around and found some other parts of the castle, some flying jellyfish, and an island outside with what looked like a boss. I had too many runes so I couldn't risk it and left Castle Morne. Thankfully I marked it on the map with a green skull which for me symbolizes dangerous things.

* "Elden Ring" is a fantasy-action game from the studio FromSoftware for Playstation, Xbox, and PC, and was published by Bandai Namco. It was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and co-written by fantasy writer George R. R. Martin famous for the "Song of Ice and Fire" book series which inspired HBO's "Game of Thrones" series.

  • I chose a melee/magic Confessor build that intitially specializes in incantations instead of sorcery. Right now, the only spells I have are Urgent Heal, Flame Sling, and Rejection.
  • In this video I battle land-octopuses, goblins, and mini-bosses called Demi Human Chiefs with the helps of a summonable cooperators called Old Knight Istvan.
  • Hope you enjoy and please feel free to leave comments and tips below! Thanks!

* I'm six months late but I'm finally playing Elden Ring on PS4. I picked a Confessor-class so I could be an incantation-wielding swordswoman.

  • The main quest of Elden Ring is to collect the broken pieces of the Elden Ring from a goddesses' demonic children and become the Elden Lord.
  • In this video, I recently died while sheepherding giants into attacking each other. Following my compass display overhead I have to grab the runes dropped at my death so I don't lose them forever.
  • Not sure what level I am, somewhere in the twenties -- I have a sword, shield, and two spells: healing and fire ball.
  • I use or goat-horse steed, Torrent, to quickly return to where the five giants are waiting for me.
  • Thank the Elden gods for Torrent's double jump which saves me from losing help from a steep fall.
  • I start with two giants and get them to attack each other while aiming at me. It's then that I notice their stagger and try to attack them while they're down but I'm not doing as much damage as they're doing to each other.
  • Alternating between my health flasks and my healing spell when I dismount, I try to fix my health when I ride too close or get cornered resulting in damage.
  • The giants do a lot more damage to each other when using their giant swords.
  • There's some kind of large identation or hollow at their abdomen, perhaps a well-timed fireball will do a decent amount of damage.
  • Sometimes when the giants fall, their heads emit a gold light ... not sure what that is.
  • After downing one giant, I ride toward another seated nearby and bring him into my sheepherding circles of death.
  • I'm not sure if Torrent has a limit-time to riding him or her but I find myself jumping off them and having to remount.
  • I finish off the 3rd giant with a fireball and do something similar with the other two in the distance.
  • Hopefully I can figure out how to kill these guys easier but it's nice to get 1000 runes per kill, sometimes without me even attackign them.

* For a quick summary, this is an fantasy-action game I'm playing on PS4.

  • You play as an undead rogue/sorcer/warrior called "the Tarnished."
  • Elden Ring takes place in the Lands Between where a goddess once ruled with the titular magic ring before it was shattered and split among her children in a catastrophic war called the Shattering. Now the goddesses's children have grown deformed from the rings power and your job as Tarnished is to gather the ring's broken pieces and become the Elden Lord .
  • At the beginning of the game, I chose the Confessor class due to my interest in melee and incantation-based magic which is magic using seals instead of a staff.
  • Right now I only have and use a sword, shield, heal spell, and a fireball spell.
  • There are save points called Seats of Grace which point you to the next story point which led me to here Stormveil Castle.
  • There was an AI companion summon so I knew a boss battle was nearby.
  • Marge the Fell Omen is rather ugly but he definitely knows how to make an entrance.
  • Marge started by throwing magic light constructs shaped like swords. I dodge the first one but got hit with the second.
  • I tried swiping at him with my sword but I wasn't doing very much damage so I backed up to pepper him with fireballs ... unfortuantely that didn't do a lot either so my poor AI companion was just getting pummeled while I tickled Marge with my weak sword and fireballs.
  • Somehow my AI companion and I stunned him for a second but I couldn't trigger a cool-stab move.
  • Marge quickly collected himself and summoned a giant hammer made of light ... very not good.
  • My AI buddy died soon after. I wonder if I get more runes/EXP if I fight without him?
  • Without my AI buddy to distract Marge, I die rather quickly.
  • I need to get better at using jump to avoid horizontal enemy attacks.
  • I'll need to find more smithing stones and runes to level up my sword and fireballs.
  • When I return, Marge, I will be far more powerful than when last we fought!
  • Hope y'all enjoyed the video! Feel free to leave comments, advice, or tips below!
  • I'm half a year late to Elden Ring but if I've heard correctly it's going to get some DLCs in the future so that sounds like a lot of fun.

* I'm a bit late to the game since Elden Ring came out in February or March of this year 2022 but I felt like throwing some hours into another virtual adventure.

  • There's a bunch of different starting classes Elden Ring lets you choose from in the beginning.
  • It's a bit more complicated than just melee, mage, or rogue since different combinations of the three can be made.
  • Melee has swords, shields, spears, axes, maces, whips, great swords, great axes, halberds, scythes, daggers, katanas, clubs.
  • Mages have staffs and hand seals.
  • Rogues have daggers, throwing knives, bombs, bows, arrows, explosive arrows.
  • I've just started playin gos there might be even more than that but I haven't seen them yet.
  • The starting classes are Hero, Bandit, Astrologer, Warrior, Prisoner, Confessor, Wretch, Vagabond, Prophet, Samurai.
  • Hero looked like a single melee weapon class.
  • Bandit was classic rogue -- dagger, throwing knives, bombs.
  • Astrologer is a staff-mage that focuses on sorcery.
  • Warrior is dual-wielding melee class.
  • Prisoner is melee/mage but a mage that focuses on sorcery or staff-based magic.
  • Confessor is melee/mage but a mage that focuses on incantations or seal-based magic.
  • Wretch is a more blank slate build with even stats all across the board.
  • Vagabond is knight-like melee class so sword and shield.
  • Prophet is a seal-based mage that focuses on incantations.
  • Samura is like the melee Hero class except with samura weapons and armor, plus you get a bow.
  • I chose Confessor because I liked the idea of a melee/magic or paladin build, plus I've seen some great videos online of fire, holy, and lightning-focused faith builds.
  • If I were to make another class, I'd probably go with Bandit or Samurai.
  • I'd choose Bandit because I'd love to go for a bow-class that throws bombs and assassinates enemies with sneaky dagger-attacks. If I went Bandit I'd try to go with a Legolas, Assassins Creed, or Prince of Persia type. Maybe name my character, Bomber Man.
  • I'd choose Samurai because it's a freaking samurai and it doesn't get more cooler than that -- probably create a character modeled after Samurai Jack, Sephiroth, or some other samurai-esque type.
  • Anyway for this video, I stumbled upon a very tall stone-giant ... well to be honest that was my fourth time facing it.
  • I peppered it with small fire-balls from the Flame Sling incantation and tried to dodge-roll my way in to attack its feet with my sword which did more damage but put me in harm's way. Using my horse-thing, Torrent, I was able to put some distance between the stone giant and me but it still got me pretty good with some long-range sweeps.
  • Hopefully I'm able to find some better incantation spells and level up my vigor, mind, faith, and dexterity stats a lot further. Vigor represents health in Elden Ring, Mind represents magic, Faith strengthens and allows me to use more powerful incantation spells, and Dexterity strengthens and allows me to use more powerful singe-handed weapons.
  • Hope you enjoy this video. Feel free to ask questions or offer advice, I am very open to it -- especially my need to just learn and "get good" lol.

Kakashi, Yamato, & Itachi VS Minato, Guy, & Asuma

Kakashi (Anbu)

Regular Jutsu - Earth Style Fanged Pursuit Jutsu (Fast Long Range w/Cut Scene)

Ultimate Jutsu - Kamui (Fast Long Range)

1st Alternate - Yamato (Anbu)

Fast Medium Range Attack

2nd Alternate - Itachi (Anbu)

Slow Medium Range Attack that causes explosion and smoke

Minato (Zombie)

Regular jutsu - Rasengan/ Flying Raijin (Fast Medium Range, Slow Long Range)

1st Alternate - Guy

Dynamic Entry - Fast Medium Range Attack

2nd Alternate - Asuma

Fire Style - Burning Ash Fast Close Range Attack causes explosion

Round 1

Timer - 80: seconds left Minato uses all four subs first but Kakashi doesn’t take advantage of the delay period and Minato quickly starts regaining all four subs.

Timer - 3 seconds left: Kakashi uses all four subs and has same health as Minato but an explosive clone from Kakashi’s alternate Itachi results in Minato losing round 1.

Round 2

Timer - 70 seconds left: Minato uses up all four subs and Kakashi shortly stuns him but does a combo then ultimate jutsu instead of an ultimate jutsu first which knocks Minato out of stun and allows him to back-dash out of the way — once again wasting the empty-sub delay time.

TImer - 50 seconds left: Kakashi uses up all four subs and gets caught in combo that ends round 2 with Minato’s victory

Round 3 starts with Minato down almost half-life and Kakashi with full- bars.

Timer - 83 seconds left: Both Kakashi and Minato uses all four of their subs. Kakashi takes advantage by getting a combo in but Minato interrupts by calling in his alternate Guy who kicks Kakashi away. After which Minato activates their awakening mode which turns him all yellow and covers him in fire. He is super fast but Kakashi blocks most of awakened Minato’s attacks.

Timer - 73 seconds left: Awakened Minato uses up all subs and combos against awakened Minato’s blocks but he calls in Guy again to push Kakashi away.

Time - 52 seconds left: Minato catches Kakashi in ultimate jutsu when he side-dashes instead of substituting.

Timer - 29 seconds left: Minato goes awakening mode again and teleports behind Kakshi but Kakashi substitutes above him and then lands the finishing blow when he lands.

This is just a breakdown of the fight, I'll probably come up with a better format later or maybe add audio commentary.

Hope y'all enjoy and let me know what you think!

* Naruto Ninjastorm is probably one of my favorite fighting games.

  • I've been meaning to try out some DBZ fighting games but haven't gotten around to it.
  • This is a battle between a friend and I when they came over to visit.
  • Sasuke (The Last) has an amaterasu fireball which eats Madara's fireball which I found funny.
  • There's a lot of interesting mechanics in the game that make it pretty excellent.
  • I like arena-fighters like these because of all the space and fast-action.
  • I used to play online-matches and got pretty addicted to it.

* No healing monsters allowed, no melee monsters allowed

  • 34 Mana cap limit
  • I went with a +1 magic dragon summoner and a magic Life team.
  • In 1st I had a non-attack type with decent speed, the Flying ability to evade enemy ranged attacks, and Magic Reflect to send back reduced magic damge.
  • In 2nd, I had a magic monster with high health and the Rally ability to raise all my other monsters health stat.
  • In 3rd, I had a magic monster with Flying ability.
  • In 4th, I had another magic monster but with the Slow ability to decrease the enemy team's speed stats.
  • In 5th I had a magic monster with Blast to do additional splash-damage to adjacent enemy targets.
  • In 6th I had another magic monster with Life Leech so that every attack of his gives him more life.
  • The enemy had a +1 speed fire summoner and mostly range monster team with one Blast monster at the end.
  • My non-attack type did not last long but my blast and slow monsters were able to whittle the enemy down.

* No Opportunity or Sneak abilities, which means last and weakest monsters can't be targeted--only 1st monster can be attacked.

  • Divine Shield means all first attacks are ignored, which can be stacked with Revive
  • No Fire Splinter monsters or summoners allowed.
  • 56 mana cap
  • I went with a magic-boost Dragon summoner, Delwyn Dragonscale.
  • I led with a medium melee tank with Taunt and Flying ability and medium speed and high health, after that--I followed with medium-magic mosnter with Void Armor and medium armor and high health. Taunt draws all enemy attacks toward itself. Flying increases evasion from melee and ranged attacks, while Void Armor makes enemy-magic eat up armor points first instead of health.
  • I put a low magic monster in third with Blast and Knockout--Blast does reduced splash-damage adjacent targets and Knockout does double-damage when enemy is stunned but there was no Stun.
  • Next up I had two Life-Leech monsters with low health. The first has high magic, the second medium magic but also the Flying ability.
  • In last place, I had a high-magic monster with lots of health, the Flying ability, and the Cripple ability which lowers enemy max-health with each successful hit.
  • The enemy team had an armor-boost Life summoner.
  • Their line-up was a melee tank with Taunt, one high-magic monster, two medium-magic ones, one low-magic healer, and low-range healer.
  • Two of their monsters had the Revive ability and the Tank Heal ability. Revive brings back to life a recently-defeated monster while Tank Heal heals the monster in first place.
  • They also had a Life Leech monster, which takes takes enemy health when it attacks.
  • One of their medium-magic monsters had Repair which fixed 1st monster armor which would've been tough if I didn't have magic monsters.

  • The link for this battle will be posted on Twitter
  • I was doing one of the new Dragon Focuses which have replaced Daily Quests
  • This was a battle that forbid magic monsters and reversed the speed stat so that 1 was the fastest
  • I used Djinn Chwala and Carnage Titan because Chwala has the Thorns ability which punishes enemy melee, Titan has Double Strike so he attacks twice, and the both of them have lots of health and armor.
  • Merdaali and Scavi Armorer were there to fix health and armor loss but were taken out rather quickly.
  • Thankfully Disintegrator lasted long enough and his Intimate ability kept the enemy team's melee one point lower

- For this battle, the rule set allowed for 46 mana cap which gave me room for slightly stronger monsters than usual.

  • The rule set also included Earthquake which would do 2 melee damage to all non-flying monstes each round and the Knockout ability which would do double damage to stunned monsters.
  • All Splinters were available but just in case my opponent used a magic team or Earth magic team, I chose Death Splinter which also helped because that Splinter has quite a few good flying monsters who could avoid Earthquake.
  • In order to counter any enemy magic I chose Thaddeus Brood as my summoner who decreases enemy magic, Phantom Soldier as my 3rd monster who has the Silence ability which decreases enemy magic, and Dark Haon as my final monster so that its Taunt ability would draw all enemy attacks to itself until it was defeated.
  • My opponent chose 4 magic monsters who were severely weakened due to my Thaddeus Brood and Phantom Soldiers magic debuffs.
  • Other than my own magic monsters I also had Gargoy Devil and Soul Storm which did massive range damage.

- Here's a battle with a smaller than normal mana cap of 22, where monsters can't miss, and no Life Splinter monsters are allowed.

  • Despite it being 6 versus 3, Regal Peryton and Krom the Undying were my final two monsters.
  • There were quite a lot of Sneak monsters on the enemy side but luckily Krom has the Healing ability and got a boost from Llama's Last Stand ability.

- This battle allows for 99 mana cap which allows me to put together a rather heavy team of monsters.

  • All magic and ranged monsters have the Snipe ability which will make them target magic and range monsters first.
  • All monsters will have Divine Shield which will ignore all first attacks.
  • Since all splinters were available I went with a team that had an anti-magic tank, followed by blast magic monsters, and two non magic monsters.
  • In 1st position, I chose Robo Dragon Knight to frontline my dragon splinter team because of its Void ability which reduces magic damage.
  • In 2nd position, I chose Carnage Titan because of its relatively high health and Double Strike ability which would allow it to attack twice and nullify an enemy's Divine Shield from the rule set.
  • In 3rd position, I chose Gloridax Magus because of his Blast ability which would could undo the Divine Shield of not only the target monster but either one or two adjacent enemy monsters' Divine Shields as well.
  • In 4th position, I chose Rule of the Sea for the same reason as Gloridax Magu because of their Blast abilities except he does a bit more magic damage.
  • In 5th position, I chose Chaos Dragon due to its very high magic damage which would could potentially act as a kill shot after my previous monsters have undone enemy Divine Shields.
  • In 6th and last position, I chose Axe Master for the same reason as Carnage Titan due to their Double Strike ability.
  • My strategy ended up working despite my enemy putting together an almost similar team to mine but thankfully I had more blast ability monsters than they did, along with double strike monsters.
  • I love the Dragon Splinter because of how powerful its summoners and monsters are, plus the ability to choose another Splinter to combine with them which makes them pretty formidable.

- In this battle, the mana cap is 48 which allows for a large enough cast of monsters that I included Yodin Zaku as my summoner to give all my monster extra Blast-ability damage.

  • The rule set gave everyone the same health as the monster with the highest and also restricted magic and ranged monsters from beign chosen.
  • The other rule was that Death, Dragon, Earth, and Life Splinters were not allowed.
  • I went for taunt monster team headed by Magnar who has decent melee damage and a lot of life, along with his Taunt ability which attracts all enemy attacks to him until he's down. He'll be doing heavy blast damage to the enemy front line.
  • In 2nd, I had Fineas Rage because I wanted to attack sooner in each round, which he could do due to his Reach ability. More blast damage to the front line.
  • In 3rd I have Tenyi Striker with the Sneak ability so he'll be doing blast damage to the enemy backline.
  • In 4th position I have Serpentine Spy who will do Blast damage to the weakest enemy monster if he doesn't get Opportunity killed himself.
  • In 5th I have Sandworm to do massive Blast damage to the enemy back line if his attacks lands.
  • In 6th place I have Disintegrator to lower my enemy's melee power which is perfect since this is a melee battle.
  • My opponent made a wise choice and went with an armored Water Splinter team, that also gets a speed boost from Kelya Frendul.
  • In the front they had the very mobile Serpent Elder with the Dodge ability.
  • In 2nd, they Diemonshark which while useless until their Serpent Elder dies, will be doing double damage if he kills any of my front line monsters.
  • In 3rd they had Flying Squid who is also useless until Serpent of Eld dies.
  • In 4th they had Deeplurker who will be doing serious Opportunity damage to my Magnor.
  • In 5th place, they did the same smart move as me and brought a monster with the melee lowering ability of Intimidate from Disintegrator.
  • In 6th place, Elven Guardian is there I guess to protect the backline and Disintegrator but there's now four monsters on their team that can't attack and I don't think the extra armor will save them, especially due to the Blast damage I'll be doing.
  • In the end, having five of my six monsters attacking every round compared to the enemies two, brought me victory but also with a little help from Sandworm's massive attack power coupled with Yodin Zaku's blast.

- Death versus Fire

  • Rule Set: 54 Mana Cap, Noxious Fumes, No Dragon or Life or Water Splinters
  • My team (level & abilities): Thaddeus Brood (Lvl. 4, Enemy Health & Magic Debuff), Bone Golem (Lvl. 1, Void), Silent Sha-Vi (Lvl. 3, Sneak), Magi Necrosi (Lvl. 3, Camouflage & Snipe), Dhampir Stalker (Lvl. 4, True Strike), Phantom Soldier (Lvl. 3, Flying & Silence), Dark Ha'on (Lvl. 1, Flying & Taunt)
  • My stats: 8 Melee, 6 Magic, 4 Range, 18 Speed, 3 Armor, 44 Health
  • My number of abilities: 11
  • Their team (level & abilities): Taras (Lvl. 1, Friendly Health & Melee Buff), Grum Flameblade (Lvl.1, Void & Bloodlust), Fineas Rage (Lvl. 1, Reach), Forgotten One (Lvl. 1, Immunity), Scavo Chemist (Lvl. 1, Cleanse), Djinn Inferni (Lvl. 1, Giantkiller), Lava Launcher (Lvl. 1, Short Range)
  • Their stats: 13 Melee, 1 Magic, 3 Range, 16 Speed, 15 Armor, 38 Health
  • Their number of abilities: 9
  • Stat advantages: Melee (Them), Magic (Me), Range (Me), Speed (Me), Armor (Them), Health (Me)
  • Advantage results: 4 for Me, 2 for Them
  • Round 1 ends with their Scavo Chemist down and none for me, making it 1 to 0 in my starting favor.
  • Round 2 ends with my Bone Golem and Shavi, and their Grum and Scavo Chemist down, making it 3 to 2 still in my favor.
  • Round 3 ends with their Fineas Rage, Djinn Inferni, and my Dark Haon and Magi Necrosi down, making it 4 to 5 in their favor.
  • Round 4 ends with their Lava Launcher and Forgotten One, and my Dhampir down, making it 6 to 5 for my victory.
  • I think I won due to Thaddeus Brood, Bone Golem, and Phantom Soldier making enemy magic basically useless.
  • Another factor was Magi Necrosi's Snipe ability hitting their magic and ranged monsters.
  • And then there's my Dhampir Stalker doing 4 ranged damage and Dark Haon attracting all the enemy's attacks with Taunt.

- This was a low mana battle with the Earthquake rule set which also didn't allowe Earth, Death, or Dragon Splinters.

  • I went with a flying Life Splinter team to ignore the once a round Earthquake damage and also chose Lorna Shine so that I could get Divine Shield for all my monsters to protect them.
  • My monsters were Pelacor Conjurere as my evasive attack sponge that would be hopefully aided by its flying ability, then next up would be Celestial Harpy who would be chipping away at the enemy backline, then Light Elemental for some quick decent magic damage, Thunder Bird for some quick ranged attack damage, and in last place more defense from Truthspeaker's Protect ability which adds more armor.
  • The real MVP of this battle was Earthquake but also Light Elemental was absolutely bullying Chain Golem from deep within my team where it could not be hit.
  • Conjurere did a good job taking all of Chain Golem's hit and Truthspeaker did amazing with the extra armor it gave everyone.
  • In the end, as expected, Light Elemental got the kill shot on Chain Golem.

- Here's a tournament match where the mana cap was 54, had Stampede which allows for basically infinite Trample, and True Strike for all which means melee and range don't miss.

  • The Fire and Dragon Splinters were not available but the Earth Splinter was, which meant there was a high likelihood that my oponent would go for a magic Earth Splinter team.
  • In order to combat a magic Earth Splinter team, I went with an anti magic Death Splinter team.
  • My anti magic Death Splinter team had Thaddeus Brood as summoner due to his enemy health and magic debuff, Cursed Windeku in 1st position due to their high health and Thorns ability, Silent Sha-Vi in 2nd position due to their high melee and Sneak ability, Djinn Muirat in 3rd due to their armor passing magic damage and Void Armor ability, Magi of Chaos in 4th position due ot their decent magic power, Magi Necrosi in 5th due to their long-range targeting Snipe ability and evasive Camouflage ability, and high range damage from Dhampir Stalker in 6th and last position.
  • My opponent had Obsidian as summoner which boosts their team's magic, Grund in 1st position for heavy double damage from their ability, Magi of Chaos in 2nd, Gobling Psychic to heal their front-line in 3rd, Spirit Hoarder to heal their Slipspawn in 6th, and Hunter Jarx for ranged damage in 5th.
  • Both our tanks got defeated in the 1st round which worreid me a little but Silent Sha Vi and Djinn Muirat proved a lot more durable.
  • In the end, my MVP's were Magi Necrosi and Dhampir Stalker.

- Fire vs Water

  • My team (level & abilities): Tarsa (Lvl. 4, Health & Melee boost), Charlok (Lvl. 3, True Strike)
  • My stats: 4 Melee, 0 Magic, 0 Range, 2 Speed, 0 Armor, 10 Health
  • My number of abilities: 4
  • Their team (level & abilities): Kelya Frendul (Lvl. 2, Armor & Speed boost), Diemonshark (Lvl. 1, Trample)
  • Their stats: 2 Melee, 0 Magic, 0 Range, 5 speed, 7 Armor, 7 Health
  • Their number of abilities: 4
  • Stat advantages: Melee (Me), Magic (None), Range (None), Speed (Them), Armor (Them), Health (Me)
  • Advantage results: 2 for Me, 2 for Them
  • I won here because despite the large amount of Armor and Speed that Diemonshark had, I had the True Strike ability so it was impossible for me to miss and Charlak was doing more than twice the amount of melee damage that Diemonshark was.

- This battle had a 58 mana cap which allows for a nice amount of strong monsters to take the field.

  • The rule set included extra armor for everyone and Divine Shield for all, which means that the first attack received by any monster would be ignored.
  • The last rule was no Dragon Splinters which was tough because there was just enough mana in this battle to allow those dragon juggernauts room enough to play.
  • This was an Earth magic versus Earth magic match.
  • Both our teams were headed by Obsidian but my summoner was a higher level, along with most of my team.
  • Instead of Chaos Legion's Venari Knifesmith, I started with Unicorn Mustang due to their high speed and Void ability which would reduce magic damage in what would soon prove to be a magic heavy fight.
  • My 2nd position was Mushroom Seer due to their Silence ability. Since I'd anticipated that my opponent would use an Earth Magic team since that Splinter was available, I wanted a monster who could lower their magic power.
  • In the opponent's 2nd position they had their own Unicorn Mustang who would useful with that Void ability but be useless until they were in 1st position.
  • For 3rd, I picked Goblin Psychic just like my opponent had done for their 5th place, because not only does he do good magic damage but he has Tank Heal and Affliction. Tank Heal would constantly heal my front-line spot which is my Unicorn Mustang, while that Affliction ability would remove any targeted monsters ability to heal which is important in an Earth Magic fight since Earth Splinter has quite a few healers and self healers.
  • My opponent's 3rd place monster was Mycelic Slipspawn which I also had in 4th. Slipspawn is a good attack sponge because of its decent magic attack power but mostly because of its Taunt ability which draws all attacks toward itself so the rest of your team doesn't get damage ... unless there's splash damage like from the enemy's Goblin Tower who has Blast.
  • In 5th position I had Regal Peryton just like they had in 4th, due to its high speed and decent attack power. This monster usually attacks first which is good since sometimes the difference between winning and losing comes down to a single point of health.
  • In last place I had Mycelic Queen who does decent magic damage but whose importance comes from its Protect ability. She's kind of like an Earth Splinter version of Venari Wavesmith except way more expensive, probably because she's 1 mana point cheaper to use.
  • At first, the sight of all those gold foil cards made me wonder if I could come out of this with the victory but then I spotted that not only did their Earth Magic team not have Mushroom Seer but they were also all lower levels than me so thankfully I was able to achieve victory.

- Dragon/Water versus Water

  • Rule Set: 99 Mana Cap, Stampede, Silence, and no Life Splinters
  • My team (level & abilities): Delwyn Dragonscale (Lvl. 4,), Robo Dragon Knight (Lv. 1, Void, Divine Shield), Carnage Titan (Lvl. 1, Double Strike), Diamond Dragon (Lvl. 1, Flying & Slow), Chaos Dragon (Lvl. 2, Blast, Flying, & Scattershot), Djinn Oshannus (Lvl. 2, Void & Phase), Zyvax Vuul (Lvl. 2, Flying, Recharge, & Short Range)
  • My stats: 5 or 7 Melee, 7 Magic, 6 Range, 20 Speed, 29 Armor, 53 Health
  • My number of abilities: 14
  • Their team (level & abilities): Kelya Frendul (Lvl. 2), Sea Monster (Gold-foil, Lvl, 3, Heal), Flying Squid (Lvl. 1, Reach), Sand Worm (Gold-foil, Lvl. 3, Sneak), Demented Shark (Gold-foil, Lvl. 3, Inspire), Deeplurker (Gold-foil, Lvl. 3, Opportunity), Cornealus (Lvl. 1, Health)
  • Their stats: 21 Melee, 0 Magic, 2 Range, 10 Speed, 1 Armor, 50 Health
  • Their number of abilities: 6
  • Stat advantages: Melee (Them), Magic (Me), Range (Me), Speed (Me), Armor (Me), Health (Me)
  • Advantage results: 5 for Me, 1 for Them
  • Round 1 ends with their Sea Monster down and no losses for me, making it 1 to 0 in my starting favor.
  • Round 2 ends with their Flying Squid, Sandworm, and Demented Shark down, making it 4 to 0 in my huge favor.
  • Round 3 ends with their Deeplurker down, and no losses for me, making it 5 to 0 in my continue massive favor.
  • Round 4 ends with their Cornealus down, making it 6 to 0 in my near-perfect victory minus a little damage.
  • I think I just had a mega good team of dragon splinter monsters and that it would've been even more of a giant wipe out if my summoner had had an ability, making me dish out 13 magic damage instead of 9.

- The rule set for this battle had a 22 mana cap which was sort of on the small side, gave all monsters the Divine Shield ability which ignores first attacks, Weak Magic which causes all magic attacks to hit armor before health, and did not allow any Dragon Splinter summoners or monsters.

  • For this kind of battle, I usually got for a Water Splinter team that focuses heavily on armor.
  • I chose the Water Splinter summoner Kelya Frendul who gives an armor and speed boost to all friendly monsters.
  • In 1st position, I chose Leviathan since he attracts all attacks to itself with the Taunt ability. Leviathan's got a lot of melee attack power, speed, a bit of armor, and a nice chunk of health so he's perfect for this kind of battle.
  • In 2nd position I had Scavo Hireling because he was cheap in mana and has Repair which regularly fixes front-line monsters armor.
  • In 3rd position, I had Merdaali Guardian who was also cheap in mana but had Tank Heal which regenerates a bit of the front-line monster's health.
  • When the battle started, I saw that it would be my 3 monsters versus 5 enemy monsters.
  • My opponnet was using a Life Splinter team, headed by General Sloan who gives a range boost.
  • I was a little bit worried about their Shieldbearer since he can be a bit hardy. He also had the Taunt ability which attracts all attacks but that didn't bother me since I was relying only on Leviathan's attack power.
  • The other threats other than the turn wasters of Soul Fiend and Furious Chicken were Venari Crystalsmith who has Tank Heal like my Merdaali Guardian and Pelacor Arbalest who could do 3 or 6 ranged damage at round due to his Double Strike ability and summoner boost.
  • In the end, Leviathan was just too strong for the enemy and all damage they did to it was quickly fixed up by the two little buddies waiting behind it.
  • The only thing that would've made it even more perfect is if Leviathan was one of those tanks with the ability to heal themselves like Flesh Golem or Uriel the Purifier.

- This was an Earth versus Water battle with mostly magic monsters.

  • The rule set here allows for 21 mana which is a little on the small side, has Knockout for All which isn't really useful unless one of the monsters has the Stun ability which will then result in double damage to stunned monsters, Divine Shield for All which will ignore all first attacks to all monsters, and no Dragon Splinter summoners or monsters are allowed.
  • For this type of rule set I went with a magic team due to the small amount of mana that we were allowed, which is why I called this battle my "Mighty Mini Magic Tea," since they're all mosnters with small amounts of mana.
  • My summoner was Obsidian due to her giving a magic boost to Earth magic monsters.
  • In 1st position I had Failed Summoner due to his Magic Reflect ability which would return a reduced amount back at magic opponents but also he does a good job as a mini attack sponge, meaning he doesn't last very long.
  • 2nd position was Spirit Shaman due to his small mana cost. He already has Divine Shield but unfortunately Divine Shield doesn't stack.
  • In 3rd position I had Goblin Sorcerer who I picked again because of the small mana cost and there speed of 2 whic isnt' bad.
  • In 4th position, I picked Creeping Ooze due to its Slow ability which would lower enemy speed and give my guys a little more of a chance.
  • In 5th position I had Mycelic Queen who gave everyone extra armor due to her Protect ability.
  • In last and sixth place I had Djinn Biljka who has Camouflage and Void, which meant that no one could attack Biljka until it was in 1st position and that it would receive reduced magic damage.
  • All of these monsters magic ability would be increased by Obsidian.
  • The enemy team had Ruler of the Seas and Wavesmith which worried me a little since Ruler has the Blast ability and Wavesmith has decent attack power, thankfully Divine Shield ended up protecting me enough here.

- For this battle, I went pretty heavy with the mana due to the cap of 99 and since Earth Splinter was available I immediately went for an anti magic strategy.

  • The Rule Set for this battle was Knockout for All which isn't exactly useful unless you have a monster with Stun, which does double-damage to stunned monster.
  • The anti magic strategy with Death Splinter involves monsters that decrease enemy magic power.
  • My summoner Thaddeus Brood lowers not just enemy magic but enemy health as well.
  • In 1st position I had the melee monster Cursed Windeku with the Thorns ability which does 2 melee damage to enemy melee monsters that attack it.
  • In 2nd position I had the melee monster Silent Sha-Vi with the Sneak ability which attacks the the last enemy monster.
  • In 3rd place I had the magic monster Magi of Chaos who will do 3 magic to the 1st enemy monster.
  • In 4th position I have the magic monster Magi Necrosi who has both Camouflage, which makes it so no enemy can directly attack it until it's first position, and the Snipe ability which targets magic and range monsters first.
  • In 5th position I had the magic monster Phantom Soldier who has both Flying, which makes it harder for enemy melee and ranged to land an attack on it, and Silence which lower enemy magic and pairs well with Thaddeus Brood.
  • In last and sixth place I had the ranged monster Grim Reaper who has the Affliction ability which robs an enemy monster of any healing ability. This is a great pairing with Thaddeus Brood since Earth Magic has quite a few healers and self-healers, especially magic titans like Krom.
  • The enemy team used an Earth Magic Team which I was thankful for since my line up and strategy were built around that kind of team being chosen.
  • An added bonus to this victory is that it was a brawl fight so I was able to get some crowns for my guild, The Black Bulls!

- Splinters: Death vs Life

  • Rule Set: 58 Mana Cap. Melee Attack From Anywhere, Blast for Everyone, No Fire or Water or Dragon Splinters
  • This battle allowed for a lot stronger monsters than usual, let melee monsters attack from anywhere, and gave everyone blast so I went for a both offensive and defensive strategy.
  • Dark Ha'on is one of my favorite Taunt monsters to use, other than Water Splinter's Leviathan, due to it also having the Flying ability which increases its evasion capability.
  • In 2nd place, I put one of my favorites Cthulhu with Cripple and Flying. It's high magic damage of 3 would bypass armor and due to Blast-For-Everyone be dealing significant 2 magic splash damage.
  • Boogeyman is another favorite of mine since he's relatively cheap and slows down the entire enemy team so that my team can attack before them which is very important especially in a melee attack from anywhere situation and EVEN MORE so in a blast for all scenario.
  • Silent Shavi is there to wear away at the backline while the entire team is forced to focus on my frontline tank Dark Haon.
  • Magi Necrosi is a very speedy magic monster with high magic power.
  • To add even heavier pressure to my opponent, but also in the case of enemy magic debuffs, I included Dhampir Stalker with 4 Range damage and True Strike so he's basically Hawkeye from Avengers and doesn't miss.
  • The irony: the enemy also has a Taunt monster, a slow monster, and double attack monster but luckily I had an anti-magic strategy in place.
  • My victory was pretty complete and did not lose a single monster and none of my monsters were close to being downed.
  • This is the great thing about the new Death Splinter strategies that can counter not just Earth Magic but almost all magic teams -- although Ruler of the Seas from Water Splinter can be overwhelming (I've found Owster Rotwell's Magic-Reflect to be devastating against magic blast teams).
