The queens are candidates in an acting and improvisation challenge - the search for the fist ever Miss Shutacca! Aside from reviewing this episode of Drag Race PH, our faculty members awarded crowns to Filipino and international queens,, and discussed why Filipinos are staunch supporters of beauty pageants.
This week, our remaining queens played Chinese garter, impersonated Pinoy divas, and performed in OPM Divas: The Rusical! And on the runway, category is - Perlas ng Silangan or Pearl of the Orient Seas.
Meanwhile, our faculty members played the karaoke challenge, talked about inspiring Filipino divas, and how OPM (Original Pinoy Music) reflect our Filipino culture.
This week, it's the girl group challenge! The queens were divided into two groups for the song and dance battle featuring their cover of "Pop Off Ate!", and on the runway - category is Shake, Rattle, and Rampa! Let's also talk about Filipino competitiveness, horror movies, and open forum with high school classmates!
The weekly review of Drag Race Philippines Season 1 continues at The Queer Faculty Lounge. In this episode, our queens faced the design challenge and served their Sagalamazon (sagala + glamazon) looks. Our educators also touched on Filipino fiestas 101 and growing up queer in the Philippines.
