In this episode I talk to my anonymous guest over the recent frustrations they have been having. Specifically, we talk about what it's like to have close family members ill and being forced to take care of your parents while still in college.
My guest today is a swimmer and friend of mine from my highschool, Patricia E. Paetow high school. He has been competitively swimming since the first time he went to a “pool party”. As a former swimmer for Paetow High school, it was really interesting to talk about motivation and the nuances of pushing forward when other people you respect start losing motivation themselves. I mean what do you do then? Keep pushing?
With another episode run, there comes this one. Although the conversation itself felt very quick, it was both intriguing and heartbreaking to hear my guest tell his story of his run of a failing long-distance relationship and what that did to him. I hope that anyone who listens to this can relate in some way and maybe find some encouragement from the lessons he learned from that experience.
In the premeire of Illegally Opinionated, I talk with my anonymous guest from UT about: comic books! Going deeper on more than just how much fun it is to read them, we also talk about its use in American history for propaganda during WWII and the Vietnam War and its ever rising relevance during and post the first wave of Covid. As I discover, comic books are so much more than what meets the eye.
It's been awhile since the last time I uploaded and this time I have changed my format a lot.
In this episode, my guest reflects on trying to reconnect and embrace her previously identity of an Iraqi culture as she has lived most of her in America.
I finish my conversation with Emily, playing We're Not Really Strangers. We laugh over some funny stories including singing and dressing up and be honest with ourselves over answering "how are you".
I continue talking to Emily, transitioning to the personal issue of manipulation in relationships at especially a youthful age where relationships are new. We also talk about her blog and shop and how it is driving her this summer.

She is somebody who has seen a lot and grown a lot from those experiences as we talk about the stress and validation that comes with Highschool and exams and the issues and lasting effects of fatherless kids and our own personal anecdotes over it.
