God is love and He created people to love Him and each other. This is why everything we do should be motivated by love for God and others. Our work and our money should not just benefit self. When love is our motivation, we will cheerfully and willingly share out gifts, skills, and money with others who need what we have.

For every task you choose to do, there is something else you are not doing.
