Everyone has pondered the question of what the purpose of their life is. While the single vantage point of life purpose is an important one we have to understand the lessons that life experience brings to us. Cause and effect plays a major role in this education, and from that balance we experience consequences. But how are consequences truly defined? Are they inherently negative, or are there more elements to them that require a closer look? In this episode we begin with part one of our series on a life of consequence vs a life of purpose. As listeners, you all have always heard us say to ask the Holy Spirit to SPEAK to you about everything that's discussed on the show. But what happens when engaging in a relationship with the Holy One on a daily basis calls you to a level of evolution beyond what is physically written in the pages of the Bible? So often the Heavenly Father and His Spirit calls us to go beyond the words; and yet we choose to hold fast to only what is written because thats what we feel secure and assured in. In this episode we lay the foundation of the importance of reaching beyond the logos (the written Word of God) an evolving in what only the rhema (the spoken Word of God) can reveal to each of us. We all know that life is a blessing from our Heavenly Father, and as Believers we are honored to live it in a meaningful way that gives glory to Him and is an example to others. Try as we may, we still make mistakes and miss the mark sometimes. During these times we can feel that we may not be as much of a Believer as we think we are due to our flaws. This viewpoint can then birth condemnation and an effort of self-performance. I'm not sure if everyone has experienced this... But the Word tends to hit differently (and in the very best way) when the Holy Spirit speaks it to you directly! Even when it's something you thought you knew already, you get the fullness of it when He says it! When it comes to being true Believers we just simply like to serve the Holy Spirit and tell everyone we can about Him: no personal accolades or titles needed. Sometimes when others hear the message of the gospel with truth and clarity they tend to associate "titles" with the one speaking about it. Personally I have always received people well when this has happened, but openly rejected being associated with any title because it's all about Jesus; I was just privileged to be able to talk to others about Him. It turns out there was a much deeper issue that needed to be dealt with in me that this rejection was rooted in, and the Holy Spirit lovingly and openly chose to reveal it and correct me. Let's jump into it!
Often times as Believers we desire all those we come in contact with to know Jesus and all that He has accomplished for their lives. Although we are called to bring this message to the world we have to ask the Holy Spirit to lead us in the best way to do this. In this episode we examine ways to adequately and effectively create a means of exchange that best suits a mutual understanding with everyone we engage with.
Relationships. There are so many factors that play into the culture and functionality of them. But what do relationships look like in the lives of Believers in today's time? Are there biblical principles that are available to us to help us determine how they are governed? Thanks God for His for Grace that is sufficient for us all. Christ (who is Grace) finished all of the work of The Law for us and restored us to right-standing with God. Although this is all true the universal law of seedtime and harvest yet remains. Depending on how was use our gift of choice the consequences of life can still occur.
